This is a good restaurant to stop in for some good seafood! We ordered a half dozen raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller, and a crab boil. Everything was so yummy! The raw oysters were a bit in the smaller side, but the tasted very fresh. The oysters Rockefeller was bigger and so tasty with the toppings! The seafood boil we ordered had a variety of crabs and other seafoods. I enjoyed the food very much, but I did not like that a bowl was placed on the ground for all our shells from the seafood. I didn't like looking to the ground while I was actively trying to enjoy my food.

Got together with my daughter post holidays to spend a Saturday walking through Pike Street Market people watching and just to get out together. We were getting hungry and started scouting around for somewhere to eat, warm up and maybe grab a drink but since we got a somewhat late start many of the shops and places to eat there were preparing to close down. My daughter suggested The Crab Pot restaurant down along the Seattle pier. I gave them a quick call from their Yelp profile but only got a voice recording that provided their hours and a message saying that they weren't taking reservations. At first we were reluctant to make our way down to the pier from the Market knowing that it was a Saturday and the holiday break and that the wait lines to the restaurants on the pier are usually long. Surprisingly they were not and we got seated fairly soon. The restaurant was fairly busy but it didn't take long to get a glass of wine and some sourdough bread, which was great. The waitress was very friendly and checked in on us often without bothering us. The problem is that the food was just so-so. My daughter ordered a king crab dump with corn and potatoes while I ordered a seafood cioppino that came in a huge sourdough bread bowl that included salmon, muscles, clams, and crab. There was plenty of seafood included but it wasn't much of a stew or soup base AND it was very salty. The oyster shooters we ordered came in plastic cups that catsup or tartar sauce usually come. Poor presentation. A huge stainless steel bowl that we were given to throw empty shells in was placed on the floor next to our table. Tacky. All in all I feel that most places down on the pier are nothing but tourist traps that charge ridiculous prices and serve 'just okay' food - nothing to rave about. I would not recommend. Instead stay up in the city where you can find much better quality places, better vibes, better views and with higher quality food.

Was our first time in Seattle and my wife and I wanted to take advantage of the abundance of seafood restaurants. A quick search on Yelp led me to the Crab Pot. We were offered the option to sit inside or outside on the dock and since it was a nice evening we decided to sit outside. The waiter was prompt and attentive. The beer was cold and the crab was seasoned to perfection! Unfortunate, I was so hungry I forgot to take more pictures of our meal!

We had a little bit of everything. Got the half order of shrimp, crab cakes, shrimp and crab dip, oysters on a half shell. And although most of it was pretty good there were some disappointing moments. Unfortunately the shrimp was so over cooked it was kind of mushy. And the dip was nothing special don't get me wrong it wasn't bad just kinda nothing special. Now on a good note the crab cakes were amazing!!! The pepper jelly they serve with it was delish. I don't eat oysters but my buddy thought they were yummy just a little small. Honestly I'd come back just to try some other options like the royal feast.

This weekend while venturing around Pike's Place in Seattle, my friend and I decided to grab lunch here at Crab Pot! Came here around 12:00pm and got seated near the window area. Very friendly service from the hostess down to our server. Place is spacious....feels like a rustic seaport -feel....lots of stuff made up of wood- goes well with the area and food! We ordered their bread and butter- which kicked us off on a great lunch start and for our main meals I ordered their seafood salad that was packed with crab meat, bay shrimp, and smoked salmon...so delicious and I feel two people could have shared this one dish. My friend ordered the clam chowder in a bowl....creamy, hearty soup full of flavor- yum! Definitely a place to try fresh seafood with variety of selections for everyone pick something they like!

Visited family in Seattle on a Sunday and this place was the only one that was left open in tourist area until 9 PM. It did not disappoint in having really good seafood. The portions were generous, and the staff is really nice. My dad is handicapped and they made sure to get us a good table for him to sit with his scooter. Our whole party was satisfied with our food. I recommend : Halibut tacos Scampi Fish and chips The food was very fresh and I love the theme. Great place for tourist to come and enjoy the fresh Washington seafood and views.

Visited Seattle with the family and went to this place to get some fresh seafood. The server was great, he made a few recommendations and answered all of our questions. The weather was nice so we were able to seat outside with a nice view of the Seattle Great Wheel. We wanted to avoid fried fish so we got the seafeast to share which comes with a variety of fresh seafood (salmon, crab, shrimp) and corn and potatoes. The feast is served directly on the table with butcher paper and they also give a bowl and place it on the floor for all trash and leftovers. We also tried the salmon filled with crab with potatoes, broccoli and carrots and it was delicious. The ambiance is family oriented and casual. Prices are average for the area so a great option for a nice stop to relax and eat next to the water.

Best place to enjoy seafood in Seattle. Quick service and decent price. The restaurant is big, minimal wait time even in the weekends. Watermelon margaritas is the best thing I've ever had The crab cakes were meh, but the cioppino was awesome, the seafood was fresh and flavorful

There's a little back story to this place My husband visited this place when we were dating 12 years back in 2013 and he kept telling about how good the fresh sea food was. So, this time along with me and kids we dined at this place. It's a little rustic, and old, can tell it's been there for years. We got a nice spot near the window overlooking the ferry. We ordered some beers and fresh watermelon margarita which was refreshing. The menu has really good seafood options. We went with snow crab legs which is served with corn cob and potatoes and shrimp with a spicy sauce. The service was quick, it was poured on the table and we had a good time breaking the crab and eating them up. The sea food was fresh but there was not much sauce or spices on them. I enjoyed the meal and had a good time with family. The pricing is a little on higher side considering it's fresh seafood. Overall a decent place and needs some upgrade.

This place was great! Slight language barrier w the staff which prevented us from getting exactly what we asked for But the food made up for it. The sourdough was incredible. The house salad and kind grab were also great. My guy loved the salmon. We'll be back if we're in town again

    Crab Pot Iced Tea: Delicious!

This is an unusual review because my friends and I only stopped here to kill time before our flight. We were exploring pike place/the pier and just decided to stop by this place to grab a round of drinks. No research on the restaurant at all. Our group of 5 was seated in the large group room, which consisted of big families with small children. Every table in there had families hammering seafood on the tables lol I certainly wasn't expecting that, but it wasn't too bad. Definitely a unique experience for me. Everything we ordered was great. All the drinks were tasty. So tasty we ordered a second round lol we also tried the CRAB STUFFED MUSHROOMS and CHEESECAKE, which were both delicious! These were the tasty drinks we got: -Crab Pot Lager (I'm not a huge fan of beer, but this was very easy to drink! Highly recommend!) -Crab Pot Iced Tea -Salish Sea Storm -Watermelon Margarita -Mojito Also, service was great! Friendly and attentive!

Seafood restaurant located on the Pier in downtown Seattle. The restaurant is easy to find and located inside a multipurpose building with a souvenir shop, bakery, and arcade. The restaurant does not take reservations. We did arrive at about 5:30pm on a summer Thursday and we were seated in 5 minutes. We started off with the sourdough bread which was amazing. I had the halibut and fries which was good. The raw oysters were small but good. My spouse had the crab legs which he loved. It was pricey but filling. The waitstaff was super friendly and accommodating. You can sit inside or outside. The views are beautiful.

A friend who lives in Seattle recommended this to us. We are seafood lovers, and this really seemed to be a good fit for us! Granted, it was a Tuesday night and at 5:45. But we didn't have to wait at all for our group of nine which was fantastic. Our server was super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and efficient. I had the snow crab and Dungeness crab. Everything was great, very fresh! I had some of my husband's watermelon Mojito. Super refreshing, would definitely recommend that drink. It's probably a little gimmicky and touristy since it's on the pier. But we were tourists! Would definitely recommend to somebody who is in town.

Greetings at the door were kind of awkward can't explain how or why, it just was lol. Since it was just myself, I opted to sit at the bar. Found seating at the oyster bar. Was greeted pretty quickly by Brandon. Service from waitstaff was kind of on the slower side (I had to grab my own menus since some time had passed... not sure if this was supposed to be handed to me at the front or not), it also took a bit to get my order and tab. But once i ordered the food came out pretty quickly (just got oysters, a beer, and chowder). But my waiter was def super friendly! Could've just been an off night. I think the saving grace here for my experience was Brandon! Glad I opted to sit at the oyster bar. This was my first time into Seattle, therefore first time visiting Elliot's. Appreciated the tidbits of knowledge he dropped regarding the oysters - honestly made me appreciate it more! Had him pick 6 different ones since I didn't have any context of the different species of oysters. Chatting with Brandon also felt like catchin up with an old friend. The oysters were delish! Super fresh and my favorite was the shigoku. The amount of oyster choices they had were overwhelming, in a good way! The spicy crab and corn chowder was also bomb, which was also recommended by Brandon as I was originally just going to try the classic/regular one. Id totally come back here again next time in town.

So when I woke up still craving shellfish, RockCreek was the call. It was the right one. A dozen oysters to start: Kumamoto and Shigoku. Clean -- no grit, no sand. Whatever they're doing back there, it's working. The brine was full and present in every shell, and the mignonette hit that rare sweet spot of light but actually seasoned. The Winter Old Fashioned? Get it. It was so delicious. Then came the crab Benedict. The side salad alone was worth writing home about -- big, buttery, peppery leaves draped in one of those feather-light vinaigrettes that sounds simple until you try to replicate it at home and realize you can't. But the real star of the entire plate was the potatoes. Crispy outside, genuinely fluffy inside, seasoned with conviction. A masterpiece is not too strong a word. Closed with a glass of pink wine. Was eyeing the bottle with the piglet on the label, but it was bottle-only -- a distinction I find increasingly arbitrary as a former server and bartender. One day that policy will be a relic. Not yet, apparently. Best brunch I've had in Seattle in two years. Highly recommend.

The vibe we got was that he did not enjoy serving us because we had a child with us and I seem to be asking him too many questions. That is the impression he left with us. I will say the oysters were very fresh and enjoyable. We also got the crab Mac n cheese which was cheesy and tasty. We asked him for some more chips since we ran out quickly for the smoked oyster dip. He seemed annoyed but got us more. I could overhear that he sounded more pleasant with the other guests surrounding us. The mussels tostada flavors were nice but I didn't love the texture of them which is totally just my preference. He dropped off the check shortly after and noticed there was a 18% gratuity which I found out is standard for downtown Seattle. Being in the industry I do think it's a courtesy to mention it when dropping off the check to a guest. On another note, I did think the seafood tank in the center was cool because you could see all the geoduck and oysters they were offering. Overall, I think we wanted to enjoy our experience more but the servers attitude and demeanor towards us was off putting and we just tried to eat quickly and leave. Don't think we'll return to this location.

Duke's is, well... Duke's…read more It is a bit of a formulaic small chain of restaurants that offer a waterside view and a seafood heavy menu. The food is good, but not something that will bring you back over and over again. The service on the other hand is incredibly good. Kind, thoughtful and incredibly authentic. In my book - the staff of Duke's of south Lake Union are a solid 5 stars rating. And, the food is a 3'ish rating. Put together- it's a place that is worth visiting if for nothing else than the amazing staff. Oh, and the view on Lake Union is also really great, especially if you can grab a table near one of the patio heaters.
