It is small establishment that serves Lebanese tacos. The tacos are deep fried and held together using 2 toothpicks. There are signs everywhere not to eat toothpicks . I ordered combo of two tacos and Lebanese soup. Both vegetarian and vegan tacos were delicious. For the soup word delicious is not sufficient. The interior is traditionally colorful. You have to order the food at the counter and bus your table. And they will serve you. So this is not a full service restaurant. The staff was friendly and courteous. I will definitely go again. One suggestion: please remove the toothpicks before serving the food.

Vegan spicy cauliflower tacos are so good!! The slaw side that comes with them is also vegan and delicious. They typically have two rotating soups on offer, with one that can be vegan (often default is vegetarian with like a dollop of yogurt on top). The first time I got the soup it was too spicy for me, so the next time I asked how hot it was and they were very helpful in gauging it! It was like a curry lentil and the right level of spice for me. They have a burrito special on weekdays! Haven't tried that yet bc I like the tacos a lot. They're deep-fried and I can't get them elsewhere (there are toothpicks in the tacos, take them out before eating them, it's obvious and not a big deal) The people who work there are great! I love the colorful decor, and the back bar has fun lights and louder music if that's your vibe.

Nachos. Those chips and cheese sauce. Yum. I couldn't finish!

I went for brunch on Saturday and this place was excellent all around. Friendly staff, unique lively decor, great fresh food! We got a breakfast burrito (that egg and potato were so juicy, with a nice side salsa for more drips), a few tacos, and nachos. The egg taco was also great, fairly standard but jucier and a bit more flavorful than what I find elsewhere. I live them emphasis on not eating the toothpicks. It is stupid but then you see them hiding in there and have to laugh at how many people probably do stab themselves. I would have liked more filling than just meat, but it was still really good...reminded me of an empanada in a lot of ways. Nachos were my favorite. The chips look like local fried tortilla pieces, but they were crisp and crunchy from a real fry and not those dense baked things you see elsewhere. Local or bulk, they were delicious and topped with sooo many goodies. I think my fave was the homemade queso, which also had a unique flavor with the perfect cheesiness, saltiness, creaminess, savoryness to round out everything I ate it with. I think the real winning combo here is fried tacos and a bowl of that queso and some side veg to pull it all together. Mmmmm. We got the soup of the day too...Zuppa Toscana interestingly. Good and packed with toppings but when I come back I'm sticking to the main fare.

Super friendly counter service. Walk up and order at the counter. Sounds simple enough, but the decision making process was tough. I wanted one of everything. Although I didn't get that, I did get some very delicious food. The papa taco was filled with flavorful creamy potatoes. The crispy taco offered a delicious balance with the creaminess of the filling. Of course since I lived most of my life in Austin, I have to order queso when I see it on the menu, even in Seattle. This queso didn't disappoint. It was creamy and spicy. The salsas provided added an extra kick for which I was grateful. The taquitos were also perfectly crispy and filled with deliciously seasoned meat. The best part was we took some leftovers and they were just as good a couple days later. I'm sad we didn't get to go back during our time here, but I'm certain we will see them again next time.

It's not often I write a review fairly quickly after visiting a place, but this place deserves it. Ever seen the movie ratatouille? I mean, yes, it's about a rat in a restaurant. But, I'm referring to the scene where the critic tastes the food and suddenly he's a child again eating his mother's cooking. That's what happened to me when I ate here. We ordered taquitos, quesadilla con carnitas, chips and queso, and a papa taco. After my first bite of the taco, I wasn't in the restaurant anymore, I was suddenly a kid in my grandmas kitchen, the quesadilla took me to my mom's kitchen as a boy. The service was efficient and the guy behind the register was very friendly with his service and gave us good recommendations. The menu seems basic but it's basic Mexican fare with a touch of "Líbano". The setting was very old school Mexican and I loved the atmosphere. Plus, the music was on point. I cannot speak for those who had a poor experience, but ours was anything but poor. . Definitely a taste of my Situ and mi mamá.

Finally stopped in for brunch only available on the weekends. Been wanting to try the chilaquiles for awhile. Went on a Sunday after walking around the farmer's market. You get a choice of green or red sauce or both, and a choice between fried or scrambled eggs. Great flavor little bit of a kick, generous portion. Going to have to visit on a week day for lunch and take advantage of the menu they do for lunch. You order at the counter and are given the number food is usually delivered fairly quick. Always love how bright and cheerful the decor is.

This is what we ordered. We did not finish. It was not appetizing.

Food - sorry to say, walk a few blocks if you want good tacos. These ones were super oily, they were dripping with oil. Soaked an entire napkin. Taste wise, nothing that spells tacos. Ground beef fried and pricy for nothing. Super disappointed. Service- I will say, it was not crowded when we went so it was decent. Ambience- tables were clean and we sat out on a sunny day. If you are coming for food alone, you might want to skip this place.

Situ Tacos was a strange experience for me. The place is really cute and small, so be prepared to sit close to other diners. The interiors carry a personal touch as there are pictures of, I'm guessing, the owners family on the walls. Service was just normal. The table service here is minimal, as you only see a server when its time for them to bring your food. To order, you go to the register and there are plastic menus to the right of you as well as a large one painted on the wall. Food-wise, everything was either just ok or underwhelming. Some of the items, I felt were imbalanced, for example the slaw. It was good, but there was a ton of coarse pepper running all through it which made the bite harsh. Make sure to use the toothpicks they put in the tacos to pick the pepper out of your teeth. They only offer 3 varieties of tacos here and they are all deep fried and held together with toothpicks, so be careful. Pick those out before you bite! The best taco to me was the potato one. The potatoes inside are creamy and seasoned well. If I ever came back, I would just eat those. I was not impressed with the other 2 (Lebanese browned beef and cauliflower). The description of the beef taco sounds exotic and exciting, but it is just under seasoned ground beef. Nothing special. The cauliflower is spicy and a great vegan choice, but all I could taste was vinegary heat and nothing else. The margaritas, are just ok and will not be the best you have ever had. What is really cool about this place is the bar. I didn't visit when I was last there, but it's tucked away in the very back of the restaurant and looks like a chill place to socialize and drink. I'm not too big a fan of their food, but this would be a great place to hang out. Give it a shot if you don't mind the different take on Mexican food.

Love this new taco spot! Especially the soups, which are made from scratch on a regular basis. They were perfect on a cool, damp day. I also had the taco trio, which are very unique. The tacos are served crispy and fried, closed with toothpicks. The flavors were delicious. I loved the variety, especially the chickpea cauliflower taco. The soups were quite spicy, but so good. I would go back just to get some soup from here. The decor and ambiance is so cute! there is even a bar tucked in the back, almost like a speakeasy. I would like to try the cocktails one day too. They seem to have some fun events on a weekly basis so make sure to check out their instagram page for updates!

I walk past Lupe Situ taco's almost daily, so I finally made a quick pit stop for their happy hour. The deal: **two tacos and a beer for $9.** That's what I ordered, and I made sure to mention I wanted that specific offer. Yet somehow, my bill came out to $12. I suspect the deal applies to a **pony Modelo**, but I was served a regular one. The bartender insisted all beers were on happy hour pricing, which--okay, fine--but just give me what's on the menu. Whatever the deal is, stick to it. As for the tacos, they were fried--something I wasn't expecting. I tried both the **potato and beef**. The potato taco? **Absolute perfection**--great texture, full of flavor, just delicious. The beef one, though? **Dry.** And while the salsa packed plenty of heat, it didn't do much to help with the dryness. If you love spice, it might work, but for me, it was tough to enjoy. That said, **the vibe was super cute**, and the staff was friendly. They also have an outdoor patio, which seems like a great spot when the weather's nice.

My overall experience here was a 3/5. I ordered 3 tacos and they came with a sour spicy sauce. Of course, the fried taco shells were delicious! Now for the flavors: - Hushwe: This was the smallest taco, filled with ground beef. It tasted okay. - Papas: My favorite! Garlicky and cheesy. - Spicy cauliflower: It's hard to make cauliflower taste bomb and this was no exception. It was bland. Though I could taste the spices, they somehow did not make it taste better. The restaurant itself is very colorful and there's a bar deep inside. Service was not friendly or unfriendly and the outdoor heaters did not work, despite the many customers sitting outdoors. I was expecting more from a restaurant that specializes in original crunchy tacos. Perhaps they were just not to my taste, but for $15, it was not worth it.

This new spot in Ballard has unique crunchy tacos! The exterior is a fun bright pink with a spinning black rose sign. They have a patio in the front and inside seating. The tacos have different fillings stuffed in a tortilla which are sealed with toothpick then are deep fried. You're supposed to remove the toothpick before eating. They are very crunchy while not being oily! The potato one was my favorite, the cauliflower one was pretty good too. They came with a nice salsa. Great vegetarian options. They also do brunch on the weekends with chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, and breakfast burritos which I need to come back and try!

Randomly found this while walking through Ballard and the fun decor and the pink eyes caught my eye. We ended up getting a drink and nachos and sitting outside, you order and grab a number and sit outside. It felt really nice with the nice weather and seeing people walk around. The nachos were nice and tasty and the frozen daiquiri was good as well (wish it was a little more strawberry flavor tho). Overall would def come again

However, it still tasted like it had a really nice flavor, and had a soft interior. It being actually spicy would've moved this dish up a lot, though each taco was primarily made out of this chicken - and there was so much of it it was practically insane - but I loved this amount shoutout to the onions as well - they were great I asked for the habanero sauce - which i thought was ok - wasn't spicy at all and didn't add much flavor. will go with another sauce next time tried mixing in some taco bell fire sauce which was interesting i love that these came wrapped in aluminium foil to preserve heat. a great touch overall, as far as taste, these were pretty good, but when you consider the amount of meat you're getting, along with overall portion size - it's simply a fantastic meal.
