Pretty good ramen! Had lots of vegetarian options which was nice. Liked the decor and vibes of the spot as well. Good place to eat in cap hill overall

A great place for ramen and tsukemen in Seattle! One of my favorite foods in Japan was tsukemen so it is nice to have places serving tsukemen around Seattle. I got the hybrid tsukemen and the noodles were cooked well. Broth was good but a tad on the saltier side for me.

I came here for the first time on a friend's recommendation, and I've been coming back ever since. This has easily become my go to ramen spot it never disappoints. The broth is consistently rich and flavorful, and everything just feels well balanced and satisfying. It's one of those places where you don't have to second guess your order because you already know it's going to hit. Honestly, it sets the bar pretty high and makes a lot of other ramen spots feel pretty underwhelming in comparison. Just a really solid, reliable place that keeps me coming back.

    The Garlic Bomb! Yum!

Ramen enthusiast and saw the ramen bowls, tsukemen, rave reviews, and fun atmosphere. Atmosphere is a bit touristy, though it didn't stop me from visiting. The interior offers a good amount of seating space and staff are quick to guide you to a table. The menu offers seasonal ramen and tsukemen options. This along with their standard menu offers food choices for those tough food mood days. I went with the Garlic Bomb Ramen. The picture shows the bowl surrounded by flames. I checked before ordering the fire is just a background thus the bowl is not spicy hot. Being a huge, huge, huge garlic fan I had another choice in minds before entering and the Garlic Bomb was my choice. Oh boy, was it the choice! Yum, with lots of garlic to boot. I was in garlic heaven. Accompanying the Garlic Bomb were bottled Sapporo that hit the spot. Once complete I was sure to reach out to tell others to come on in and try the ramen, tsukemen, or if quick enough the Garlic Bomb. Thank you Menya I will be back.

Menya Musashi is by far one of favorite places to eat in Seattle! The Federal Way location is closer to my house, so this was my first time actually coming to the cap hill location. Like I expected, it did not disappoint! I came on a Friday afternoon with some friends, and there was no wait at all. The restaurant itself is cozy, with lots of seating and friendly staff. My go-to order is always the hybrid tsukumen, I love how rich, creamy, and umami the broth is. It comes with a great amount of noodles as well -- I love the texture and overall bounce of these. I feel like there's not that many other dipping noodle places in the area, that or I haven't found them yet. Menya Musashi always hits the spot though, so I'll definitely be coming back.

Small, little loud tightly spaced ambience. Swift helpful service and GOOD food. Hybrid Ramen was disappointing better to stick to the usual ones. The matcha ice cream with fish shaped waffle added and awesome crunch. Would definitely like to revisit just for the ice cream and karaage. Heads up: please book a table it takes a while, always crowded! This place is also known for vegan and vegetarian ramen bowls, go for it! The restaurant location being capitol hill, my best wishes in finding a parking space. I would suggest pay and park to secure a table faster.

Stopped by for a quick lunch break and shared the hybrid ramen and miso ramen with side of fireball. The service was quick and you just order at the table. The miso ramen was savory and the fireball can be added in to create your own level of spice. However the hybrid ramen was definitely the best. The broth created the perfect pairing of savory flavor and spice. The pork belly portions of both ramen were tender and had their own flavor which was nice.

TLDR: Pretty disappointing for me personally, not a great overall dining experience for our first time here Food: We had to black ramen and the hybrid (black + red ramen) -- after trying both I would say the hybrid is much better as my black ramen didn't have as much of the black garlic flavor I expected due to the color and thickness of the broth. The red ramen on the other hand had much more flavor due to the added spice/red paste. Service: This is where we felt most disappointed. We came in on a Friday night and the restaurant was pretty busy. We were given a menu to look at while we waited but when we finally got seated nobody came around to take our order. After a while we finally figured out that you're supposed to order on a QR (this was not explained to us when we sat down, and there was no "is it your first time here?" from the staff). I was also pretty disappointed that my ramen came out 5-10 minutes before my partners, seems like there was a challenge with the sequencing in the kitchen. Within the QR ordering we also requested bean sprouts be subbed with bamboo shoots but that was not done for us (they removed the bean sprouts, but didn't add anything else) Misc: While other ramen places have things on the table (white pepper, togarashi, garlic, etc.), the tables have nothing no them besides the QR code. Price: Each ramen runs about ~20 after tax

Definitely a busy spot in the heart of Cap Hill, one of the top tsukemen and ramen spots around! I've tried the ramen at the Kirkland location and it was delicious, so I knew what to expect. I'm not a big tsukemen guy but figured I'd give the one at Menya Musashi a chance. Tasted good but I (biased) think the ramen is simply better. Hot soup always hits, especially in the constant cold Seattle weather. Hybrid Tsukemen - the hybrid broth is very rich, I loved the ramen version. Black garlic and spicy oils blend for a flavorful broth. For tsukemen, the broth is thicker, viscous, saltier, and more savory. They offer cold or hot noodles and I think I made the mistake of hot noodles because they stick together and are a nuisance to grab! Besides that, the tsukemen lacks vegetables that the ramen would otherwise have, which pushes me to vouch for the ramen further.

The food was amazing and the service. I got the hybrid ramen which was 5 star. Highly recommend it.

Been a few months since I've been back , but the curry tsukemen was probably the best thing I've had here. Super flavorful and rich. Black ramen is pretty light. Red ramen also light and could be better. Service is attentive and nice.

I'm a big fan of dipped Ramen and this place always hits the spot when I'm craving it. It does get pretty busy often, so do you expect a line when you come. The food is super good. The broth is rich and creamy has the perfect umami taste. They give you a lot of noodle and I can easily make it into two meals. The pork is super soft and tender, and there's pork bits in the soup. Highly recommend this place and worth checking it out

The best ramen i've had in seattle so far! I've always wanted to step in here, but finally did with my family this past friday. The music was really fun and it was a chill and somewhat retro vibe. The service was mostly great as well. Food wise: I was in love! I got the vegan miso ramen and the broth in particular was so rich and savory, and the depth of flavor was blowing my mind. All the toppings were included and all very good. My parents ate meat eaters, and both ordered pork dishes. Can't speak for that meat my dad liked his spicy ramen, and my mom liked her black ramen but didn't love it as she isn't really a pork person. Will for sure be eating here again and bringing others!

I ordered a miso ramen and my parents ordered the tonkatsu ramen. As someone from the Bay Area, I was so surprised by the richness of the ramen and it definitely beats some of my usual spots. Each bowl was ~$15 and a smaller bowl, so would definitely advise getting an extra batch of noodles. The chashu is melt in your mouth tender. The broth wasn't very salty or over complicated itself with a burst of spices, but highlighted the simplicity of a good ramen, tasting the long simmer of the pork. My dad was honestly pretty pissed circling around the area for an hour for parking, but said it was all worth it, even waiting in a long line.

We walked into a casual, compact space with a mix of counter and table seating that fits the quick ramen shop style. The interior is efficient and well organized, though it can get extremely busy, and the wait times are often one of the biggest parts of the experience, especially during peak hours. Once seated, the space feels functional and comfortable, designed around getting a bowl of ramen in front of you without unnecessary distractions. The ramen is built around rich tonkotsu broth with a lot of customization options. We appreciated the ability to adjust things like noodle firmness, richness, and spice level, which made each bowl feel more personalized. The regular tonkotsu ramen stood out for its deep umami flavor without feeling overly heavy, and the noodles had a great texture that held up well against the broth. The vegan options also stand out, including miso-based bowls with flavorful broths that give non-pork options more depth than many ramen shops offer. The toppings are generous, and the soft-boiled egg was cooked to that perfect jammy consistency. Beyond ramen, the menu has a few sides that complement the meal well, including gyoza that came out crisp and well filled. We also grabbed mochi ice cream for something sweet afterward, a light finish after the rich broth. The seasonal ramen options are worth checking out since they add variety beyond the standard bowls, giving regular visitors a reason to come back and try something new. Service is generally quick and friendly, especially considering how busy the restaurant gets. The ordering system is straightforward, and the staff handles the constant flow of customers efficiently. The team kept the pace moving without making the experience feel rushed, and they were attentive to refilling water and checking in on the table. The biggest downside is the popularity, since the lines can sometimes feel long for a relatively quick meal, but the wait tends to move faster than expected given the efficient turnover. Ramen Danbo is a reliable spot for a satisfying bowl of ramen in Seattle. The customizable bowls, strong broth, and consistent noodle quality make it a place worth visiting, although planning around busy hours can make the experience much better. The balance of customization and quality means you can dial in your bowl exactly how you like it, and the focused approach to the menu keeps the attention where it belongs.

Reviews say that they're filling, but I wasn't that full after finishing mine. It's satisfying but almost all carbs. The flavor was good and I liked the hint of seafood through the fish powder, but it comes at a price point that's a tad high for me for what's in the bowl. Would still recommend ordering 1-2 extra Chashu though. I tried my friend's Original Aburasoba and the flavor profiles are pretty different, so the sauces and toppings definitely play a role. The noodles do soak things up. It was a cool experience but I wasn't blown away. I would bring people for a novelty dish once, probably wouldn't come back.
