I will like to upgrade this to 4. It appears to have stabilized from COVID. At the end, I don't have sufficient data point yet. Came for the happy hours, now that it opens every day. Drinks were slightly cheaper and waiting very polite and prompt. We order small dishes and they were good: chowder came with a splash of olive oil and "bang bang shrimps" felt like a bit too "ready to eat from package". They were "not bad". If you stay in the hotel and it was a long day, I will recommend it. If you have more energy, they got competitions.

Tidal+ is the main sit-down restaurant in Hyatt Olive 8. Its a seafood place for lunch and dinner, but for mornings its traditional American breakfast. We came here for breakfast for two days and the selections were decent. The used local ingredients lime Ellenos Yogurt and Beecher's for the cheese in omelets. Blackberry pancakes were fluffy and large, and I like the variety of condiments. The Granola is good too with good balance of fresh fruit and yogurt. The coffee is pricy at $5/cup but I enjoyed the strong, bold flavors. Unfortunately, they don't offer peanut butter as an option for toast.

Very tasty fish and chips. Best I've had in a long time.

I came up to Seattle from Portland today. I was looking for a place to eat and title was in the lobby in the hotel I stayed at. I went in and had a bowl of chowder and fish and chips. The chowder was really good, but the fish was Head shoulders above the normal restaurants. I have fish at in Portland. Huge flake, tasty batter and came to the table nice and hot. The fries are also pretty good and they were also nice and hot. The gentleman seating people was extremely nice and very good at his job. My server was also friendly, but only saw him a couple of times throughout my meal, but the gentleman manning the door was super helpful. The only down thing about my visit was the mandatory 16% gratuity even though I was by myself. We don't do that in Portland and it kind of hit me by surprise. When I tip, I tip well and to be quite honest if the 16% wasn't mandatory I would've given 20 to 25% . But if they want to charge me a tip without even giving me the opportunity to tip for good service then that's what they get.

    Tidal Smash Burger** not great.

Love Olive 8 hotel, but will not order from this restaurant again. We ordered room service and it was delivered quickly. My child got the kid's mac and cheese with a salad. The Mac and Cheese looked like it was from a box. It had no cheese flavor and was luke-warm. I got the burger and it was a bit disastrous. See the photo. The side salads were fresh and we ate them.

I stopped her for a quick bite before heading to the airport. It was a Saturday so brunch was served until 1 pm or so. I was seated right away and service was quick and efficient. Small bites (non breakfast items) were served after 10 am so I opted for oysters and a small side salad. The side salad wasn't on the menu but they were nice enough to accommodate me. The oysters were delicious and hit the spot. They were firm but tender with a good brine.

I came here for breakfast on a Saturday and was seated right away with no reservation. It's a big open space with nice decor. The servers were friendly and I got my food pretty quickly. I got the breakfast sandwich and really liked it. The only thing was that they didn't come check on how my food was until I was pretty much done.

We had a really good experience with the happy hour here recently. We were looking for a light dinner and drinks before a movie and this was the perfect spot for that. The server was very attentive and super helpful with working with me for dairy free options on the food. The food was great and so were the drinks. The ambiance felt classy but still relaxed. Would definitely recommend or return.

First appearance: nice location and design Food: came in for breakfast and specifically the French toast. Chef's kiss. it did not disappoint! I recommend everyone order this item when here, I just pray the cook remains and doesn't experiment with the dish. It's perfect the way it is. I also tried the breakfast sandwich. It was good as well. Side of Chicken sausage lacked depth and side of eggs needed love; plus they need new table side salt shaker. The salt shaker was the biggest disappointment ! All in all. Hotel restaurant service was standard despite only with 6 tables occupied.

Meh, functional hotel restaurant food. Good, friendly service and convenient for hotel guests but expect hotel pricing. Entrees were just ok and strangely doesn't include sides normally. It's decorated with an ocean tidal theme.

Appreciate the quality and interesting glasses they use.

We had dinner here two nights in a row. Food was good and servers were attentive. Nice the prices are not hotel crazy just fair. The glassware was well chosen.

So I stayed at the Hyatt at Olive 8. So I decided to eat at the fancy restaurant downstairs. So I got the fish and chips. The fish was delicious but the fries were very salty. Thank God for ketchup to temper the salt. It was great that they delivered to the room also. I would eat there again but I would try something else to get a better idea of the food.

Conveniently located in the hotel where we stayed. They have an excellent happy hour, $2.00 oysters and the truffle fries were to die for. We will definitely be back next year.

We were staying at the Hyatt at Oliver 8, and Tidal+ is the restaurant/bar inside of the hotel. We did happy hour and picked a few things of the menu to try as well as drinks. The oysters were high quality and I would recommend them, especially at the happy hour price which they are a little cheaper as well. The fries and the spinach dip were also good. I was less impressed by the drinks but would definitely recommend the food. Our server was okay but we did have to flag her down to get the check since they seemed to be pretty busy. As a side note, we were told we would have a credit and so we went here each night but it turned out that the conference block had waived the credit that most guests get here. Although it wasn't the restaurant's fault, it was frustrating that there was no way for them to check that or for us to know that we didn't have the credit when we charged the items to our room. I wish that Tidal+ had a way to verify hotel credit (or lack thereof).

I could hear the table next to us ordered the exact same appetizer as we did 10-15 mins after we did and a new server who must had just clocked in brings them the order literally within 2-3 mins later and the male commented, "oh that was fast" and I thought to myself they got our order. That confirmed the table next to us got our order because of how long it took. They never apologized for their mistake. Doing all that time they never came back to see if we would like another drink. I had to flag someone down. The clincher was we got our bill and there was 22% service charge. That was on me because if I would have seen it I might not have gone. I'm not a fan of automatically charging a service charge. I'm a great tipper but it must be earned. By than I was really annoyed and thought to have a conversation with the manager but let it go. I would not go back. The craft cocktails are spendy but I had no problem with that because they're creative and they earned it by being creative. But the energy and the environment wasn't like the other speak easy bars I visited. It was boring and to top it off the service charge of 22% and the service that came with it sealed it for me. When the city reopened in 2021, I was eating here almost every day; partly because of convenience, but mainly because the food and service never miss. I've hosted everything here: birthday celebrations, after-work hangs, and dinners with friends and colleagues. Every single time, it's a hit. People walk in, fall in love with the vibe, and walk out talking about the food. The consistency is unreal. They even order food to go. The flavors? Bold, intentional, and layered in a way that makes each dish feel crafted, not just cooked. The presentation is always stunning; plates that look as good as they taste. Their cocktails are balanced and creative, the kind that make you slow down just to appreciate the mixology behind them. And for anyone planning group outings: reservations here are a breeze. They're incredibly accommodating with large parties, and the service stays sharp even when the place is packed. Attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced; they know how to take care of people. Dead Line checks every box: atmosphere, flavor, presentation, service, and seamless hosting for big groups. Roquette was a surprisingly small space with a wonderful vibe serving up "destination" bar-worthy cocktails. It reminded me of some of the neighborhood gem cocktail bars that I'd frequented on the East Coast. I grabbed a seat at the bar. Roquette's lineup of cocktails were varied in flavor profile using a wide range of spirits. They also served non-alcoholic offerings which looked equally intriguing as their boozy selections. I started off with the 99 Problems ($28), which, unfortunately, I forgot to note what was in the drink. It was boozy, clever, inventive, and most importantly delicious. My second drink was the Imperium Old Fashioned ($24) made with Westland Whiskey "Roquette" Barrel, Clement Cask Strength Rhum, Old Delicious Apple Brandy, Pineapple, and Spice. It was an excellent, boozy, balanced update to the classic Old Fashioned. Although I went with drinks off their menu, I have no doubt that any of their skilled bar professionals could've crafted me a wonderful cocktail if I had simply requested a classic or something on the fly based on my choice of spirit and desired flavor profile. Yes, the prices on the two drinks I ordered were pretty steep, but they were comparable to prices I've paid in Las Vegas. Plus, I don't have a problem with paying a premium for a well-made cocktail made with premium ingredients in a comfortable, welcoming setting (the drunken guy next to me who tried to engage with me in a political discussion excluded). Bottom-line: Roquette was a revelation. It served up two of the best cocktails that I've had this year.
