French toast
Asha B.

We came to Lost & Found on Capitol Hill for my birthday because we love a good classic diner brunch moment. The vibe? Super fun. Lively, packed, energetic -- definitely the kind of place that feels like a weekend spot. That said, it was very busy and service was on the slower side. I had noted it was my birthday, but there wasn't any acknowledgment, which was a little disappointing. Not a dealbreaker -- just something that would've made it feel more special. Now the food: solid. Good. Comforting. Just not particularly memorable. I had the French toast, which comes with four slices, two eggs, and your choice of bacon or sausage. It was exactly what you'd expect from diner French toast -- satisfying, but nothing that stood out. My husband ordered the chorizo hash with sourdough bread, which he enjoyed. Again, good flavors, not the heartiest portion -- and not something memorable. The biggest surprise was the pricing. The mimosas are around $20, which felt pretty steep for a diner-style brunch. I definitely wouldn't order those again here. Overall, for the portion sizes and what we got, the prices felt a bit high. We loved the vibe and the location -- Capitol Hill energy is always a win -- but I wouldn't go out of my way to return. It was good, just not special enough to justify the cost for us. Fun spot if you're already nearby and want a lively brunch scene but I'd grab drinks at one of the nearby bars instead of with the meal here.

Breakfast Sandwich

Honestly I was expecting so much more from this cute diner spot - the food was soooo mediocre (see pic of $13 breakfast sandwich), expensive, and not good value at all. Other people in my party would agree.. it's typical diner food but not worth its price. :(

Stopped by here after going to a book event next door and was thrilled to sit and eat later in the evening. The vibe is cozy and a lovely diner. The food was a bit expensive but very tasty and big portions. The milkshake is giant and I got tons of fries. Overall very tasty and will stop again when I go to another book event for sure.

The Classic

I met up with some friends for brunch. I ordered a classic breakfast. It is simple, two eggs over easy, hash browns and biscuit. Eggs cooked perfectly, hash browns crispy on top and bottom, and biscuit baked well. I really like the biscuit, break it in half and heat steam out, crispy top layer and bottom layer, moist in the middle. Service was good and there is 5% service charge. Inside, is classic diner atmosphere.

8.19.25: The salmon cake Benedict special was amazing. The churro cake was also great, made even better with a scoop of ice cream.

I visited Seattle over the Forth of July weekend. Met with family who picked to come here for dinner. We showed up and there wasn't a lot of people in. I was told that if there weren't fireworks shows around town, this place would be super busy. So glad we went on a slow-ish evening. It's a really nice place! Very chill vibes. Nice staff. The service was pretty quick and consistent. The food was great! My other half ordered the roast beef sandwich which was delicious! I had ordered just the roast beef. Also delicious! We ordered chicken wings for the table and an Oreo shake. All amazing! The prices were fair for what we got. We were able to sit, relax and enjoy each other's company without feeling like we had to rush out. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in WA! All-in-all, a good experience.

Came here for late night happy hour - the prices are good but it is definitely reflected in the quantity you're given. The baskets of food were all very sad looking and honestly a bit too empty even given the discount. It's popping at late night times though.

Spicy Chicken Sandwich

The restaurant was surprisingly slow on a Friday night. It has nice decor and ambiance. Overall, the food was good. They give you large portions, so you get your money's worth. We really liked the fried chicken and onion rings. The spicy chicken sandwich was a little dry and needed more sauce, and some of the steamed vegetables were cold. We will go here again!

Small Bar/Lounge with a great vibe. Friendly staff and good fresh food. Breakfast served all day. Nice portion sizes.

Bennie's are the best. Chicken fried steak was extremely tough however the staff removed it and apologized and offered other options.

This was my first experience with a "do it yourself" tasting room. There is a wall of glasses in different sizes to suit your needs and over 50 beers, ciders, ales, kombuchas. Etc. on tap to explore at your own pace! They didn't have any food to purchase but they were making fresh popcorn available to munch and cleanse your palette for feee. We used the small tasting glasses to try a variety of their offerings and look forward to coming back for more! They have TV's so you can watch the game and the day we were there there was a painting class going on that had the whole room packed. So, if you're looking for a low key way to host a group where alcohol is available they are clearly a great option! Give them a try!

I'm first and foremost a kombucha girly, so I tried a few of them before getting a full glass of what I really liked. I also had a glass of a dark beer that I really liked with lots of notes of chocolate and coffee. They also had an alcoholic lemonade that was super dangerous at like 12% and super sweet. The food selection is lacking, but we did order a pretzel that come with a yummy and spicy cheese sauce. The ambiance is really chill, clean, and has a cool swing set. When we were Yelping where we should go for a light bite and some drinks-- all the other spots around us weren't giving us the vibe that Tapster did. Service was great, it was my first time so they explained how the cards work and encouraged us to try different things and how all of the taps were organized. Don't forget to leave you drink card in the box before you leave!

All the…read moreoutdoor tables were full when we arrived at 6, so we put our name on the list for inside and waited about 30 minutes. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

They gave us these post cards to write down our individual drinks. FYI - this place requires using your smart phone to scan a QR code for the menu. We ordered 2 apps (salmon dip with pita chips & chips and cheese dip) I ordered fish and chips. Buddy got the meat loaf. Our beer showed up quick. Waiter always checked on us often. Our apps showed up and they were both delicious. Then 5 minutes later our main dish orders showed up. Wasn't too happy with that because we wasted time to taste our beers and snack on the apps. They need to work on their timing. Need at least 10 minutes in between the beer and apps. The food overall is admittedly top notch. Fish and chips FRESH! The fish was juicy and the fried crust was perfection. Pieces were large. They will ask if you want 3 or 4. 3 is enough. If they can work on timing the drinks and food this place would be a 5 out 5, but will deduct a star because of that. The overall vibe of the place was nice. Huge layout with wooden picnic style tables. Outdoor tables if you're lucky to get one. Large tanks to brew beer surrounding the room and a merch table.

They are kid and dog-friendly, too. We ordered an NA IPA (which they have on tap!) and their hop water (comes in a can). Both beverages were absolutely delicious. I love that this place is NA-friendly. They offer some light snacks and free pretzels, which is awesome for a brewery without a kitchen. There is a food truck on site, but it was closed when we visited. No worries, though, you can bring outside food, which is perfect since there are plenty of great restaurants in the area. I asked the bartender if they brew at this location, and he said they've moved all brewing to a different location in Seattle, but it's still super fresh and tasty beer all around. This is a spot worth visiting in Seattle or getting together with a large group for a few drinks. Plenty of choices for everyone!

There are several beers and some ciders on tap from all around and all the ipa's I've tried here have been pretty decent. from there you grab your brew and have a seat at high top tables within the tap room. Again, the setting is mid-sized good for a couple groups of four and a few two person tables. Music is at a decent volume and is lit dimly making it decent for a date spot or just a place to have conversation without raised voices. Fridges line the tap room so you can mix and match beers, ciders and wines to take out which is cool. I like Bottleworks, I want to enjoy it more, but there are some issues holding me to 3 stars. The staff are...alright. Not bad, but I feel could be a little friendlier. Also they don't allow sample pours? This is a common thing at most breweries, but maybe it's because this is a tap room, but beers run a bit higher here - $8-9 a pour so that's annoying that you can't even try a couple. Lastly, they rotate things out it seems weekly. Some of the more popular options I suppose they keep but seems like a lot of turn around on the drinks so if you like something they have on tap, don't get too attached. Perhaps on subsequent visits It will improve, and I can boost the score here, but besides the decent beers and setting, it's just OK here.
