I mean it's a beer hall...ordered a smash burger and for $14 bucks I thought it would be...a little bigger? When it came, it was the size of a kids meal. Someone even joked that it was. Burger was fine, soft pillowy bun, fries were hot and crispy. Really loud inside. Overall, fine experience.

This beer hall is impressive. You walk in and greeted by a massive room A great hall for parties for celebrations or holidays. Or to catch a game. TVs line the wall. Stage can be found on the opposite end of entrance. On the backside of the bar you will find a long bar to curl up. In the middle you'll find long wooden tables like in Germany. The bar features beer. If you are not a beer drinker you can get whatever will wet your whistle. One liter of beer cost 21 dollars. A little on the pricey side compare to other places. The bar also features an extensive food menu. Plus the bar has lunch and happy hour items. Unfortunately we did not try the food.

Came here for a Seahawks game. While we did end up having a good time, I must say the communication here needs to be worked on. The security guard never knew what he was talking about and almost jeopardized us at getting a seat at the table for the game! And had the audacity to lie to the seat host in front of me saying he never said anything. Another worker also told me wrong information as well. Luckily the seat host was nice and we ended up getting our table after getting tossed around to three different people who didn't know what was going on. Beer was good and the group of girls we sat next to were super nice as well as our server. Proud to say I'm a Seahawks fan now!

I stopped by the Queen Anne Beer Hall to celebrate a birthday. I loved the big long tables and multiple TVs showing football. The waitresses were super friendly and checked onbus often. Its a dog friendly spot. I brought my pup and saw plenty of other dogs hanging out too. The giant pretzel was amazing, brats were tasty, and the beers hit the spot. The charcuterie pretzel was just cubed cheese with extra sauce, so I'd skip that one. Overall, the vibe was lively, fun, and a little rowdy a great spot for a casual celebration.

Soooo much beer to choose from. Great place to come with a group if you want to watch a sports game or celebrate birthdays. I only tried the fries & pretzel and wasn't the biggest fan - it all tasted too salty. But I loved the amount of beer that was available so you had plenty of options. They also had regular cocktails too. Great service and friendly staff.

Went here for happy hour on a weekday--see happy hour portion of menu in pic. Charlie gave us excellent and friendly service. The restaurant really is a hall as u can see from the seating pic--it is a big open space with communal picnic style wooden benches in the middle and some table seating on the sides and near the bar. Tables near the bar must order from the bar and not a server, so we set at a picnic table to get a server. The food started with complimentary pop corn. It was a little stale, but hey it was free and was not too stale. Good enough that we finished it. Then we got the wings, burger, Piña colada, giant pretzel, and beignets. The burger is not standard ground beef but rather a blend of higher quality beef. While the flavoring/condiments on the burger was not the best flavor, it was just ok, the higher quality beef made a big difference in the taste. The pretzel was a little doughy in the middle of the big pieces, but some people like it like that--we prefer more well done. We skipped the cheese sauce like we always do with bar pretzels and went for ranch dressing which was a good choice as always this time. We had a total of 3 Piña coladas. 2 were made by the same bartender and the third by a different one. All were good, but the first two were the best that we have had in decades. The chicken wings were good, but nothing special. Having had beignets at Cafe Dumont in New Orleans, QABH's beignets seemed more like glazed donuts or curlers. They came with 3 dipping sauces: chocolate (Nutella?), Carmel, and berry. The beignets/donuts were not bad, but we only got them cause we were expecting real beignets, so we would not get them again. Overall, this was our best dining experience in Seattle and we would definitely come here again. Definitely give them a try and try to go fit happy hour. Ask for Charlie to be your server and you won't go wrong!

Wow one of the best beer halls around. Their beers are delicious-- esp the nitro kolsh! We ordered the 3 sausage plate, smash burger salad, mac, and the corn. Oof everything was amazing. Highly recommend

A great place to hang out with friends! We came on a Saturday in the afternoon as a group of 9, and we were able to find seating easily. The service was quick. There is a wide selection of European beers. The food was decent as well. The music got louder later towards the evening. I would say it's not a good place if you're looking for a place for intimate conversation.

I went to watch some college basketball. Great sports bar with plenty of TVs. The burger of the month (East meets West) was awesome. So good, that I am going back tomorrow to have it again. Bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable and check on you to make sure you have everything you need. Lots of beers on tap as well as plenty of wines and liquor. Highly recommended.

I went here with some friends on a Friday evening after work to chill and we were welcomed with a quite traditional, open air space with plenty of seats, so this is excellent for a large group setting. As we went around 5pm, it was still happy hour (M-F 3-6pm) so we took advantage of that. We got the giant pretzel and the smashburger with fries, both of which were $8 each. We also got 2 kinds of beer 0.5L for $6 each, which is also a pretty solid price (1L is $10), only the beers listed in the happy hour section. 5/5 for the price, but food is quite mediocre. The giant pretzel was soft and chewy, which is good, but the smashburger is closer to a fast food burger chain here and the fries were kind of soggy. But these two dishes filled us up quite a bit for 2 people and we ended up not able to finish the giant pretzel, so there is a large quantity of food. Beer is not really my thing so I can't write it off as good or bad, but I still tried it because this is a beer hall after all; I just wouldn't actively go out of my way for these places. Nonetheless, with good company and okay food, it was still a good experience to check this place out.

What an awesome dining experience! The interior of the place is so cool. It used to be a clothing manufacturing shop back in the day. Open and airy, with cool long tables, perfect for the biggest groups! The service was a little touch and go... I think they were prepping for an event. Our server would disappear for a while, but we were in no hurry so it was fine. We got some apps, the fried cheese curds were the best I've had in the state so far! Great cheese with a nice light batter. The giant pretzel was soft and warm, so delicious! The drinks were all spot on. We tried a d#ck pic, the shot was a great pick me up! The hard cider was cool and refreshing. The burger I got was happiness in every bite! I got the OG smash with an extra patty. It was cooked to perfection! I will definitely be back! Great food, decent service!

Visiting Seattle for the first time I was thrilled to find a beer hall right next door. And it was showing the NBA Finals featuring my beloved home state team, the OKC Thunder. Considering the contentious relationship Seattle has with the Thunder, I found it necessary to zip up my jacket over my SGA Thunder t-shirt as I was surrounded by Pacers fans at my communal table. Jenna provided personable and excellent service. The BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad, Bratwurst Dog and IPAs were delicious. What a fun place with lots of energy, great service and tasty menu. Oh, and the Thunder ended up winning the entire thing the following week. No more zipping up that jacket!

Some of the worst, undercooked, chewy chicken wings I've ever encountered in my lifetime. The pretzel is good but crazyyyy pricing.

We dropped in for brunch, and were thrilled to find a place that is both pretty and delicious. Service is walk up and quick and friendly. There's a great brunch selection - we got tacos and a breakfast burrito. The potatoes were some of the best I have had. Ambiance is techno retro and comfortable with a waterside vibe (although you can't really see the water). Would recommend!

5 Stars - Bonus point galore…read more.. Stopped by this spot on perfect Seattle Sunday - almost 70 degrees out without a cloud in the sky, and this place is right across the street from the waterfront. This is the exact type of spot I wish Seattle had more of - simple concept with food/drinks that really stand out. You order at the front, grab a seat on the patio or inside, and wait for the food to be brought out. I also love how dog friendly this place is! Bonus points for sure. They usually have 10-15 beers on tap and a list of house made cocktails. I went with their light Lightning Harp and the girlfriend went with the SYSTEM_REBOOT.EXE (great name, wow) which was light/crispy/sweet/herby-freshness and was insanely good. For food, we usually just get their basket of fires and their fancy ranch. I MUST SAY, this fancy ranch is top tier, the epitome of what ranch should be, and might be the best I have ever had - no notes and more bonus points. This time, we decided to try a few other food items. Chips w queso and their fried mushrooms as starters - chips are seasoned with s&p and maybe chili powder? Honestly, the chips were great. Queso has never been my favorite, and their version of this cheese dip seemed to be lacking something. Girlfriend loved it, but not my favorite. Fried mushrooms were perfect - light and crispy outside with meaty mushroom center, and of course the fancy ranch as a dipper made this a delightful snack. The last thing we ordered to share was their iteration of the Seattle Hotdog. I will be getting this hotdog every single time we come back moving forward. Every single part of this dish was done perfectly - bun was very light with crispy outside and soft inside. Also not too much bun, I always find myself ripping off excess bun with hotdogs, but not here (today lol). The wiener was perfect size (pause) in every sense of the way. Just the right amount of cream cheese. AND THEY USED FRIED JALAPENOS! I did not think fried jalapenos would be such a game changer, but my god they were so frickin good that give the perfect crispy texture and heat. This is a great spot to grab a beer and snack, and especially good on a blue bird Seattle Sunday :)

Wow, this review is 8 years old! I want to share my experience with Some Random Bar…read more In 2017, my mom and I visited Seattle for me to look at apartments and interview for jobs. We came here to eat because it was near our hotel. I was OBSESSED with the crab nachos. 2 months later, I moved out here all on my own. Now, 8 years later, I live nearby. Whenever someone is visiting, we come here. Whenever I run into a stranger visiting, i say they have to come here. My friends know if i'm celebrating anything, "are you getting crab nachos?!" It's become a part of my personality at this point. I have so much respect for the owners, the way they run their business and their honesty online. No one I've brought here has had a bad thing to say regardless of what they ordered. My go to is: Pull apart bread, crab nachos (with their hot sauce!! which, btw can i buy that by the bottle.. cause YUM) + whatever drink is calling my name (they rotate, but if you can get the pina colada you won't regret it). tldr; you'll regret NOT coming here.

Some Random Bar is a very popular bar and restaurant in Belltown. I read they have good food, so we…read moregave them a try. We arrived at 4:45pm on a Saturday, figuring we can avoid crowds. I underestimated the attractiveness of Happy Hour where many drinks are $1 to $3 off. The place was full and became even fuller (and louder) by the end of our meal. This bar is hopping with many regulars, alcohol-filled, with multiple screens televising sports. When we went in October, the food menu says the food is discounted 25% off during certain late hours. The current online menu doesn't say that anymore. Not sure if that deal is still available. Our server was easygoing. Note they charge 3% for credit card use. The Food: SRB Burger, $22 - 3 Stars Menu: Painted Hills beef, burrata mozzarella, basil aioli, arugula, pickled onions, hand cut fries Per the menu description, this burger sounded great. Unfortunately for hubby, this burger has the exact pet peeve that he dislikes the most - where the patty is small and tall (he calls it ball shape) compared to the bun. The patty diameter is significantly smaller than the bun. He literally hates that. I had to tilt the camera much lower to see the patty inside. On the plus side, the fries are great. Grilled Shrimp Club, $24 - 3.5 Stars Menu: bacon, lettuce, tomato, house made guacamole, roasted chipotle aioli, hand cut fries This club sandwich is very good except for the one thing that the menu didn't specify - the bun. They use ciabatta bread, which I find doughy, thick, and overwhelms a sandwich. That is my pet peeve for a sandwich. Neither of us is betting well on this night. They are probably more of a 3.5 Stars overall. We find their prices to be high, especially since they additionally charge a credit card fee. When we went, the cost was $21, $23 respectively. The prices are now $22 and $24 per online menu. I would not return for food only. I would return for a bar vibe.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

They gave us these post cards to write down our individual drinks. FYI - this place requires using your smart phone to scan a QR code for the menu. We ordered 2 apps (salmon dip with pita chips & chips and cheese dip) I ordered fish and chips. Buddy got the meat loaf. Our beer showed up quick. Waiter always checked on us often. Our apps showed up and they were both delicious. Then 5 minutes later our main dish orders showed up. Wasn't too happy with that because we wasted time to taste our beers and snack on the apps. They need to work on their timing. Need at least 10 minutes in between the beer and apps. The food overall is admittedly top notch. Fish and chips FRESH! The fish was juicy and the fried crust was perfection. Pieces were large. They will ask if you want 3 or 4. 3 is enough. If they can work on timing the drinks and food this place would be a 5 out 5, but will deduct a star because of that. The overall vibe of the place was nice. Huge layout with wooden picnic style tables. Outdoor tables if you're lucky to get one. Large tanks to brew beer surrounding the room and a merch table.
