I came in for a drink at the end of the night. I didn't realize what a large space they have. There is an outdoor space with some fire pits. Apparently there is a dj later in the night but I didn't stay for that. They have a full menu. By the time I was there it was bar service but they had servers earlier. They have a large menu of beers on draft. We got the German chocolate cake. It wasn't what I expected and know as German chocolate cake because it didn't have icing but was good.

Perfect place to meet friends on a cold and wet day-- there's plenty of seats and bocce ball if you're looking for some entertainment. There was a sign at the door that said you seat yourself and order at the bar, but someone came over to help us. While it was fairly empty, I think our waiter was caught up with another big party because it took quite a while to put our drink and food order in and there was a mishap and one of the items ordered never came out until we asked about it in the middle of our meal. Our waiter was really nice and I think it may have just been an off day though! For food, I got the wurst und bun (with the bierwurst) which came with an onion and tomato relish (great flavor) and a pickle with fries. There are a few different flavors of wursts so looking forward to trying new flavors next time! Friends at the table also tried the chicken wings (I believe the sweet and spicy wings, as well as buffalo) and shared the wings were crispy and had great flavor. We also tried the roasted delicata squash-- the best part was the poppy seed praline!

This is a fun spot to hang out at. They have bocce ball inside and you can also hang outside by the fire pit or under the heat lanterns. Dogs are allowed outside as well. We have been here a few times. On our recent time, we ordered their large pretzel which comes with 3 sauces. It is shareable for at least a few people. My husband and I both ordered different sausages that were served on a bun with onions and French fries. I enjoyed one of the special sausages, that was a chicken tikka masala flavor. I would also recommend their spaetzle and currywurst, that I've had in the past.

A cozy space for beer and good eats. We stopped in on a Friday night around 5:30 and grabbed a couple of beers and a giant pretzel. The selection of beers was decent with a lot of local features. I expected to see a couple more German beers but maybe that happens more in the fall. The pretzel came out super quickly and was nice and warm. Both cheese dips were tasty and the mustard was a nice contrast. The lawn bowling was quiet but looked like it could be fun with a group.

Came here for dinner with friends. The sign said seat yourself so we found a table outside and did just that. We did flag a bartender inside as no one was tending to us. Our waiter come out and took our orders. To see the beer selection, you have to scan a QR code. It's not that extensive, but I guess it changes often to have it on a website rather than a set menu. Started off with the pretzel. It comes with honey mustard, beer cheese and a pimento-like dip. Pretzel was huge and a nice starter. Beers came out and those were good. I ordered the Wurst Platte with the habanero cheddarwurst. It comes with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. The sausage was nice, but I was expecting something spicy. I just added hot sauce for spice. The mashed potatoes were dry. I'm not a big fan of sauerkraut so I skipped that. To play bocce ball, you have to go to the bartender and they charge 20-something. We thought this was free. Overall, okay food, decent beers and expensive bocce?

As a preface, I lived in Bayern for many years and am always on the lookout for good German food. This place isn't it, it's disappointing. It has great ambiance, but the beer is mostly bad American imitations of German beer. The food is also really disappointing. I was excited for the Jäegermeister which is alleged to be breaded in Pretzel. I'm not sure. It's just dry meat that tastes like beef tallow with no Jäger sauce and raw red cabbage piled on top with some apple in it. Everything is also ala carte. You get nothing but a piece of meat. I may come For a drink and be willing to try the Currywurst, but that's about it.

was craving a bratwurst and didn't want to drive all the the way to leavenworth. ordered the giant pretzel that came with three dipping sauces--pretzel was so soft, chewy, and perfect. wurst and bun - bratwurst & bierwurst both tasted the same- came with the fixings on tops which made it very acidic, fries were crispy and came with curry ketchup. lastly the hunters breakfast with the cheddar jalapeño wurst that was juicy with a little kick.

The food was amazing. Our table shared the giant pretzel and it was super fresh and yummy. I had the burger and that was also good. Not anything crazy special, but it's good. The service is super friendly and brings food out fast. They were also willing to split our check when some places don't like doing that. We had a group of 8 and came here around 6pm, we didn't have any issues getting a table. There is street parking and Seattle U parking nearby. Only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because of the pricing. I think it's expensive for the food quality (even though the food is good). I think you mostly pay for the vibe.

Food was delicious I can't describe how flavorful everything was. Had Gluten free & Vegan options! Check this place out for dinner. We made reservations for a party of 4. FYI- This place turns into a night club afterwards so if you don't like EDM MUSIC leave shortly after dinner.

Rhein Haus offers a lively and enjoyable experience, especially for a casual after-work event. This was my first time playing bocce ball. Although I got creamed by my boss, it's okay because I'd rather lose than win to the boss ;) While I didn't get to sample the extensive beer selection (it being a work function), the schnizel, brat, and pretzels were definitely delicious and satiating. Overall, Rhein Haus strikes a great balance between fun activities and a comfortable environment. It's a solid choice if you're looking for a good time with friends or colleagues.

We were visiting Pike Street Market and wanted to grab some lunch and we were feeling German food. It was after 1 in the afternoon on a Saturday. Party of 4 adults. We seated ourselves as there was no one at the hostess desk. We were greeted after a bit of time from our server. We put in our drink , appetizer and meal order. It was extremely disheartening when my husband was told (after he ordered it) that the Jagerschnitzel cannot be ordered until after 3 pm. No where on the menu does ut say that. As well when he went to order a we'll know German beer - Bitburger - was told they don't have it. It's a "chain" and I guess we were expecting some German options. The service overall was okay and the food was as it expected. The pretzel and its dips were enjoyed easily with 4 adults and some leftover. I specifically ordered the German potato salad and was expecting it to be "warm" but it was different altogether than what I had before at a different German chain (Gustav) and I wasn't a fan. Pricing overall was far for the location and it did have ample seating for groups (inside and covered outside options). If you are in the area give it a shot

    mojito

Went out for a couple drinks with some friends. It has good energy if you're looking to watch the Seahawks and they were playing other games beforehand. I tried the rainier pear which I remember being good. I preferred the mojito because the mint was good inside, although they went a little heavy on the soda water so it was a little too fizzy. I got a second mojito and a different bar tender had made it and didn't add the mint on the inside. I thought it was curious people at the same bar made the drinks differently and was a little bummed because the mint was my favorite part. All in all a good experience.

i loved the giant pretzel. great for sharing and the dips are yummy. im a huge pretzel fan and this one is really good and worth the price. would probably get the smaller pretzel for just myself. great cocktails too. loved the inside, very german/balvarian themed and loved the dark wood and has lots if tvs with sports if ur into that. great service, they gave me and my friend a sample of their drink we were interested in :')

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

We ordered 2 apps (salmon dip with pita chips & chips and cheese dip) I ordered fish and chips. Buddy got the meat loaf. Our beer showed up quick. Waiter always checked on us often. Our apps showed up and they were both delicious. Then 5 minutes later our main dish orders showed up. Wasn't too happy with that because we wasted time to taste our beers and snack on the apps. They need to work on their timing. Need at least 10 minutes in between the beer and apps. The food overall is admittedly top notch. Fish and chips FRESH! The fish was juicy and the fried crust was perfection. Pieces were large. They will ask if you want 3 or 4. 3 is enough. If they can work on timing the drinks and food this place would be a 5 out 5, but will deduct a star because of that. The overall vibe of the place was nice. Huge layout with wooden picnic style tables. Outdoor tables if you're lucky to get one. Large tanks to brew beer surrounding the room and a merch table.
