Shared a bunch of appetizers at this sports bar in downtown Seattle. It got very packed, and there was only one server rushing around trying to get everybody. What they're known for is their Thai Sesame ribs. Well, at least the sauce on these were decent. Unfortunately, the meat was bone-dry. It was tough, chewy, and a slog to get through. Ribs are supposed to have enough fat. I don't know what went wrong here, but if that's what they're known for, that's not a good sign. The only good food item was the pub wings. These actually had a good buffalo sauce, and the meat was relatively juicy. The cheese curds were not cheese curds. They were ball-shaped mozzarella sticks. There's a difference. The tots were at least fine. Although lacking some crispiness Pretty much all the appetizers here are over $15 - so the only kind of good value is the tots for how much you get. Overall, you're going to need to buy a lot of drinks to get over how below-average the food is. 3/10
The type of bar I wouldn't be surprised to find my dad in after he got off work. I snagged one of the few open stools at the bar. Monday is a busy day as it is ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR and there are real happy hour savings here. How about a cheeseburger with a generous side of fries for $8.95????? The fries were great, hot and crispy, with sides of ketchup and spicy ranch. The burger was real and honest, two of my highest compliments for a cheeseburger. Made to order exactly right. Bun was toasted and smeared with aioli and had a nice crisp. Solid toppings of lettuce, two slices of tomatoes, red onion, and several pickle chips. These were presented on the side so I could dress the burger as I liked. The whole thing was delicious. I had a well gin and tonic at the HH price of $8.95. Overall, a very good meal and a great deal. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, the busy bartender acknowledged me as soon as I sat down, and I was immediately drawn into conversation by the regulars on either side of me. As I often eat out solo, I'm used to striking up conversations with strangers, but I didn't have to make much effort here. Fun company! Solo eaters are welcome. I'll be back and I definitely recommend!
We were visiting Seattle on the weekend that Tennessee was playing Georgia in football. My honey is a TN fan so I googled places that TN fans congregated and found this place just a couple blocks from where we were staying. It was busy when we walked in but found a high top table in the bar area right in front of a tv. It was meant for us! There were plenty of TN fans so we were in good company. We had a boat ride and dinner at Elliot's later so I didn't want to eat too much. I got the fish sandwich with tater tots and my honey got the steak sandwich and tots. Tots were nice and crispy. There were close to well done which I like. My fish sandwich was good. It was fried fish with coleslaw an tarter sauce on it. I got extra tarter on the side because I like tarter sauce. The bun also contributed to how good the sandwich was. It was like a brioche bun and it was soft in all the right places. I didn't try the steak sandwich but I was told it was really good. Nice place to watch a game, have a drink and eat some good food.
My wife and I were staying just across the street from Buckley's and noticed the owners building a new railing for outdoor seating. We left for a few hours, and when we came back they had just finished it. We stopped to chat with the owners, who were incredibly friendly and told us we had to try their award winning ribs. They even gave us a couple ribs as a free sampler. All I can say is WOW! The ribs were absolutely amazing, tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. They even had that perfect little crisp on the outside that made them even better. Some of the best ribs we've ever had. The hospitality was just as impressive as the food. If you're in the area, Buckley's is definitely worth a visit. Great people, great atmosphere, and outstanding food. Highly recommend!
I got the cheese burger with an upgrade to onion rings! The cheese burger was pretty big, well seasoned patty and I liked how they kept some ingredients out for you to add to your liking. Onion rings were okay. The batter wasn't very flavorful and got soggy fairly fast... I tried my boyfriends fries though. They were definitely better! Service is okay, a bit slow because of how busy it can get instantly. Despite that, a very nice lady! Very vibey and energetic sports bar! If you're into that, I would recommend you stop by Buckley's in Belltown!
I came here on a Tuesday for trivia night. I liked the questions that they were asking. they were more than just knowing facts. Their tacos were 2 for $6 and they were very flavorful. Such a good food deal while getting trivia. It's a cool sports bar with plenty of TVs and memorabilia.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon before our flight to watch the football game. They have plenty of TVs playing different games. It is a full house full of different fans. We ordered a few drinks, chicken wings and fries to share. This is the spot to watch sports game. Would definitely come back when I'm in town.
A good sports bar to eat some food and enjoy watching some sports. I have went here in the past and I've loved their burgers, however, this time I did not enjoy my burger as much. The buns and patty were dry which completely changed the experience. The patty wasn't that flavorful. The fries were still good, as it was crispy and tasty. I also had their mini corn dogs which I enjoyed, but nothing out of the ordinary. It wasn't on their menu for some reason ($10). The service was good, however, it's always so short staff. In the beginning, the place wasn't busy, so the server was nice and attentive. When the place got busy, the server had to run around a lot, and it would force us to great her attention to request for additional stuff. Buckley's really needs to work on their staffing. The ambiance was good for a sports bar restaurant. It had plenty of TVs throughout the place. However, I didn't enjoy how some TVs had okay quality, while others had HD quality.
The food and the drinks were ok. I'd say this would be a good place to get something simple. I'd order the tots again but not the cheese curds. I'd also probably stick with their beer over their cocktails. The service was good and attentive despite a fairly busy Saturday. They have like 500 TVs so whatever you want to watch it's probably already on, which was nice. It's definitely got that dive bar feel but still pretty neighborhood pub vibe too. They also have a dog friendly patio so that's a big plus.
Got the Cheese Curds and Thai Sesame Ribs! Both were outstanding. And I liked the vibe too. Love a good sports bar!

Buckley's was within walking distance from our hotel so we decided to poke our heads in. No one greeted us so we walked up to the bar, looked around and then chose a table across from the bar. Finally a server approached us and offered drinks. We both ordered a drink. My friends ordered beer and I ordered a michelada with modelo. What I like was that not only did the server bring me a Michelada but the remainder of the modelo in a can. My friends dared me to down the modelo which I did lol We also ordered sweet potato tots and it was a huge portions enough for 3-4 ppl to share. I was eyeing the bbq ribs bucket but we were planning on going next door for dinner so I had to pass on the ribs. Dang! If only I had 2 stomachs! lol Until next time, I'll be back for the bucket of rib, Buckley's.... read more
Not a terrible bar and the service was great (thanks Chris) but $13.50 for a bowl of chicken soup which became $17.50 after tax and tip is honestly quite heinous even for seattle (I can get a bowl of nice ramen w/pork for less). The 3% extra charge for using a credit card, which honestly isn't advertised very well, is also pretty disgusting as well - like at least be more upfront about how you pass your costs on to your customers. Lastly, the bathrooms are kinda bleh. It's a bar though so i'm not going to be that critical. read more

Good location in Belltown. Service was quick, and the "bucket of ribs" came fast. The ribs are "Thai" style, which were good, but would like a choice of BBQ or dry rub. The sports theme is great, with lots of supporting team banners, and many tv sets for sports viewing. The convenience and portability makes it the place to pick up food prior to a picnic or beach trip. read more

False advertising on the website- no happy hour on game day although stated otherwise (with the exact date listed) online; which is unfortunate. NO BEER LIST! That was another downside. Otherwise, this is a Philadelphia Eagles bar. Loud and rowdy. I received wine in a glass that looked like it was meant for beer or something else, see photos attached. read more

The service is decent enough. It is self seating, and I got help after roughly three minutes. They have enough TVs so that no matter where you sit you can catch all the games they're playing. I'm sat writing this after some time unattended after they took my plate away. When my server bussed it my beer was on its last leg, I've been waiting long enough that I might not get a second. While my burger looked delicious it was severely overcooked. For a patty that should have been medium rare it was fully congratulated. Had it been at the happy hour cost I might not complain, but Sat/Sun are full price. That and the smallest side portion made for a less than stellar experience. If you're looking for a bar on game day and this place is walking distance from you.... Just got my check and I'm dropping off a star. Their burgers are not nearly worth 20+ dollars. With tip it nearly cost me 40 bucks for a burger and beer. Not the vibe. read more

A friend had promised a great pub with a prime rib special and man did she deliver. $17.95 for Prime Rib, Au Jus, Mashed Potato's and Veggie. It was cooked perfectly. The taste was on point and the Au jus was even more delicious. The mashed was delicious and I opted for a salad instead of the standard broccoli. The college football games were playing and the Kraken game was on. It was the best atmosphere and exactly what I signed up for. I can't wait to go back l. read more
Went in for a trivia night, which was fun and well run. Table service was great at the beginning and then kinda phased out for some reason... so after waiting with empty glasses for to long, we just went to the bar to order drinks. Loved their fish tacos. They get all the stars. read more

My bf was craving wings and beer for some reason, always his go-to! We stopped by the weed dispensary and ask where could we find bomb a** wings! The cashier told us about this place and it was only a 5 minute walk. It was during happy hours so they had a bunch of deals going on! You scan a barcode to see their menu options and then the waiter comes by to take your order. I decided to get mozzarella cheese sticks with sweet potatoes tater totes! If I can make it sweet potato I would, that's my favorite! My bf of course ordered buffalo wings and a beer! The mozzarella sticks weren't the best but I kept eating them. As for the sweet tots I absolutely loved!! My bf's wings were bomb af!! Not to mention our bill only came out to be $35!!! Like man what a deal! This a perfect spot to watch any game, beer, and some food all in one place! read more

Always a good time at Buckley's! One of the best Bloody Mary's to ever exist and a classic, reliable breakfast to go with it. They have a huge selection of TVs so you can watch every game from all angles. read more

We saw this place on TikTok due to us looking for a place to watch the Niners v.s. Cowboys game. I highly recommend to watch any game or if you're in the mood just for drinks and to hangout. The place does get loud during a game but hey that's football ;) I also wanted to come for the sweet potato tots and they're so yummy I'm surprised I finished it all. Our waitress was very friendly and fast with service. read more

Which bar is best to watch a USC football game?
Buckley's is pretty good. There is a tavern on 45th in U district Tavern 12 at Resident Marriott. They have a huge screen. Please call and ask if they will be tuning into the USC game. Good luck.
