Monday is a busy day as it is ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR and there are real happy hour savings here. How about a cheeseburger with a generous side of fries for $8.95????? The fries were great, hot and crispy, with sides of ketchup and spicy ranch. The burger was real and honest, two of my highest compliments for a cheeseburger. Made to order exactly right. Bun was toasted and smeared with aioli and had a nice crisp. Solid toppings of lettuce, two slices of tomatoes, red onion, and several pickle chips. These were presented on the side so I could dress the burger as I liked. The whole thing was delicious. I had a well gin and tonic at the HH price of $8.95. Overall, a very good meal and a great deal. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, the busy bartender acknowledged me as soon as I sat down, and I was immediately drawn into conversation by the regulars on either side of me. As I often eat out solo, I'm used to striking up conversations with strangers, but I didn't have to make much effort here. Fun company! Solo eaters are welcome. Stopped in for some bar food and football last week with out of town friends. Loved the vibe, lots of TVs, plenty of sports choices, and a drink / tap list as long as my right arm! We were promptly greeted, grabbed a booth with its own TV, and got the first round of drinks going. While service lagged a bit through the stay I have a hard time complaining too much. To be honest we were a bit slower drinkers compared to some of the patrons, so I can see why were left a bit to our own. The food was outstanding. My wife crushed the quesabirria tacos (such bright and floral tasting shredded beef) and I had an incredibly tasty and overly filling Cod fish and chips. The only complaint I can really lob is towards the restroom space. Forgive me a minutes for getting on a soapbox here - but what is it about sprots bars and restrooms? I get that guys (and gals) can be pigs. I also get that this is a low priotity / non revenue generating space. But could you please spend just a little time / money on bleach, paint, and some decent fixtures? I know people are AWFUL and are always destroying things, no matter how well built and durable it is. But I just hate it when bars and resturants fail to update restrooms. Buckely was no exception. The excellent food quality sticker on the doors, the service and drink choice (and the outstanding meal on my table) speak to your ability to put together great quality and safety processes in the kitchen. We were visiting Seattle on the weekend that Tennessee was playing Georgia in football. My honey is a TN fan so I googled places that TN fans congregated and found this place just a couple blocks from where we were staying. It was busy when we walked in but found a high top table in the bar area right in front of a tv. It was meant for us! There were plenty of TN fans so we were in good company. We had a boat ride and dinner at Elliot's later so I didn't want to eat too much. I got the fish sandwich with tater tots and my honey got the steak sandwich and tots. Tots were nice and crispy. There were close to well done which I like. My fish sandwich was good. It was fried fish with coleslaw an tarter sauce on it. I got extra tarter on the side because I like tarter sauce. The bun also contributed to how good the sandwich was. It was like a brioche bun and it was soft in all the right places. I didn't try the steak sandwich but I was told it was really good. First off it's an Eagles bar, which I obviously love being a big birds fan. The happy hour is 4-6 which is great timing for Thursday night football. Was here in NYE to catch Maimi vs Ohio State playoff game. The atmosphere was fun, cool fans from both sides, some friendly trash talking and high fives. We stopped in after doing some shopping in the area. It was a Sunday afternoon and they had all the games on. It is seat yourself like most bars. We came towards the end of the football game schedule so we easily got a table. I don't know if there is a bad table in terms of view because there are so many tvs. But we had views of every game from our high top in the bar area. They also had labels on the tvs so you'd know which games would be played on each tv. I loved this added touch and it showed how they cater to their customers and try to make things easy to navigate. The bartender was our waiter and he was very friendly and helpful. He greeted us right away and was instantly welcoming. We ordered drinks and food and it was all great. I loved that tater tots were a side option like fries. I had the veggie burger and tots and I'd get it again. They have lots of beer on tap and a full bar. The service is decent enough. It is self seating, and I got help after roughly three minutes. They have enough TVs so that no matter where you sit you can catch all the games they're playing. I'm sat writing this after some time unattended after they took my plate away. When my server bussed it my beer was on its last leg, I've been waiting long enough that I might not get a second. While my burger looked delicious it was severely overcooked. For a patty that should have been medium rare it was fully congratulated. Had it been at the happy hour cost I might not complain, but Sat/Sun are full price. That and the smallest side portion made for a less than stellar experience. If you're looking for a bar on game day and this place is walking distance from you.... Just got my check and I'm dropping off a star. Their burgers are not nearly worth 20+ dollars. He returned this morning to pay for the drink. When he tried to pay for the drink, the server said "I took care of it, don't come back when I'm here". Hard to even give a rating after the rudest display of customer service ever received. With a group of "out of towners" we found an area of tables that accommodated our group size, upon our our arrival we were in a great mood with a lot of excited post football game energy and truly feeling the love of Seattle hospitality. Due to the tight area some were standing prior to sitting and accidentally bumped into wait staff that did not make themselves known they were coming through(not a word, literally just stood there) the group sincerely apologized and got out of the way. After this "incident" we were told by our waitress, AFTER she had already been to us with waters to start out our group, that they could no longer serve our group due to us "bumping into staff and each other multiple times". Not everyone in this group is the most coordinated, sorry we bobble around when excited and having a fun time. Unfortunately for your business that we now took elsewhere, but your wait staff used crap judgement on a group that travels to new cities each year to watch our football team and explore a new city to experience the local hospitality, and on average spends $200-300 per tab. Wish we could offer a kind suggestion to our waitress, but she couldn't even take the time to introduce her name and offer an area for our group that might've been better to sit.. trust me there were spots open we could've sat instead. She was annoyed from the moment we walked in, you're working a game day...you're going to experience loud exuberant groups of people. Given the demeanor of your staff, I'm guessing this is why you had open tables. Our first stop after arriving in Seattle. My husband really wanted to catch the second half of the Michigan game, but we were also hungry after traveling from the Bay. This place was perfect for the sports fanatic. Hella teams were represented, among them some of our favorites: Michigan, Raiders (his, not mine), and the Warriors. Lots of beer, breakfast and "blunch" options. We got spicy bloody marys, breakfast tacos, and the two eggs dish. The sausages were delicious and the hash browns were McDonald's style.
