Food was amazing - service could use a little help from the get go - there were two servers helping us at the bar, neither were very friendly until after we had a couple drinking and ordered our food. After we started chatting then the bartender opened up and was very nice.

Pineapple Bistro & Bar is located inside the Staypineapple The Maxwell Hotel and I arrived that night and since it was a cold rainy night, ate at the restaurant. You order your food from the bar and they bring it to you. I decided to order the combo pizza and it was piping hot and delish! Of course with 8 slices, I managed to eat 3 in one sitting and 1 the next night and brought the rest home. I also got my complimentary welcome drink here and ordered the Pineapple Smash, non-alcoholic. The restaurant is roomy and they have a good selection of food like pizza, burger and chicken wings.

My friends and I came here before a Seattle Kraken game. It is across the street from the main parking garage and is a short walk to the Stadium. Bartender was very attentive and wanted to make sure we were good. My friends got wine and I ordered a cocktail. Drinks and food came out quickly. I used to live in the area, so this wasn't my first time here. I have always had good service here. Pizza is yummy and I love the atmosphere. The hotel is connected to the restaurant and it looks very hip and stylish. The restaurant is very Art Deco with lots of colors, but with the food, drinks and decor! Great place to come solo, for a date or with a group!

Service was quick and friendly. Food was okay. I will give it a second try tomorrow. HH menu was not readily available or given automatically between the 4-6 pm hr. There was a customer that came in to ask about it and what was on the HH menu.

Pineapple Bistro gets a thumbs up - and ESPECIALLY FOR YELP USERS! [click Check-In on the Yelp app to get a free appetizer!] Pineapple Bistro & Bar is basically a hotel restaurant. When it's time to pay the bill they ask you what room to put it on. The restaurant is at the same location as the old "The Rock" - which was a rock-music themed burger place. Pineapple Bistro is an improvement. The place was uncrowded on a Friday evening. On all the tables and on the menu, it says to order at the bar and they'll bring the food to you. But this must be only at certain times since our helpful server Wendie was taking orders at everyone's tables. Speaking of tables, there's a cool - and large - amethyst table in the center of the space. Was it channeling cosmic crystal vibes? I don't know. Anyway, the food we ordered was YUM and it came out quickly. We had the half-pound burger (+ white Tillamook cheddar of course) - the photos make it look small: it was not small. As a side you get the option of tots, so that was a GO. We also had the 'Bistro Club' - which was excellent too: chicken, romaine, same cheddar, on perfectly toasted sourdough. Side salad came with a nice citrus dressing. They also have some clever cocktails. I only wish the menu was bigger! But if we're on the way to some Seattle Center activity, we're happy to hit up Pineapple Bistro again.

Their pizza is so good! They have cool drinks like one that can be set on fire. The hotel looks very nice too, and they wash all of the bedding. They donate proceeds from the stuffed animal sales, and have bikes available for hotel guests. The staff is very nice as well! Parking can be rough. But that is understandable in downtown Seattle and it is a good walking distance from so many landmarks and cool things.

Snazzy, colorful, fun, sleek, and modern. The pineapple bistro & bar is definitely a place to stop by after work, on a date, or to catch up with good friends. It's an easy to access and find bar on the main lobby of the Maxwell Hotel with plenty of street and garage parking. The staff are very casual, open, and welcome. And the bartenders are swift and professional. They have a great selection of unique cocktails all with many pineapple themed bases. What I love about the drinks is that you can taste a hint of the alcohol with compliments the other flavors. So the alcohol isn't completely masked and it also isn't completely saturated with just the hard alcohol. I prefer this style in cocktail because it allows me to appreciate the well drink and it lets me know that I'm getting my bang for the buck on the drink than a sprinkle of alcohol that doesn't get me anything. You can tell right away that this place puts the customer and guests first because there were complimentary cupcakes for the guests in the lobby! How many places give you complimentary cupcakes? You will without a doubt fall in love with this places quirky design and edgy out of the box pineapple aesthetics. Highly recommend if you're in town or want to check out a cool arsty bar with good drinks!

Delicious!!! Portions were on point, and the have a Build Your Own Mac & Cheese (for those of you who like that type of thing - husband).

Had to try what was formerly, The Rock Wood fire Pizza (not a huge fan). The ambiance is classy fun, while still being down to earth! The food was delicious, and the drinks poured perfect...highly recommend for locals and tourist in the area.

We arrived around 5:00 PM and were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable mixologist. While looking over the menu, he asked what I typically enjoy drinking. I told him I'm a big fan of an Old Fashioned, and he suggested an Eagle Rare Old Fashioned. It was, without question, one of the best Old Fashioneds I've ever had at any establishment. The balance of flavors was outstanding, and the attention to detail was obvious from the first sip. I was so impressed by both the drink and the overall experience that I asked him how he made it and what ingredients he used so I could try to recreate it at home. While I'm probably only 90% of the way there, I'll never quite match the perfection he achieved that evening. The atmosphere, service, and cocktails were all exceptional. If you're looking for a great speakeasy experience in Seattle, I highly recommend checking this place out.

The first time we ordered buffalo wings and cocktails and had a great time. The wings were crispy and the drinks were tasty and strong. The second time we ordered gochujang wings, tacos, and drinks. The wings were covered in just straight gochujang which was a little disappointing. We would have preferred more of a sauce, with some soy sauce and/or honey to balance it out. The tacos were pretty good, but our main issue is that the bartender forgot about my boyfriend's drink. We figured it was just a one-time thing because there was only one guy taking orders, making drinks, bringing everything else, but unfortunately we had the same thing happen again. Once again, we ordered a couple drinks and the bartender forgot about my boyfriend's drink. The place was pretty busy, and once again it was one guy handling everything. I don't know what the problem is, if they need a better system of taking orders or if they need better staffing. Either way, this place has a lot of potential and it's unfortunate to see it wasted with bad service.

We came here to eat because it was near our hotel. I was OBSESSED with the crab nachos. 2 months later, I moved out here all on my own. Now, 8 years later, I live nearby. Whenever someone is visiting, we come here. Whenever I run into a stranger visiting, i say they have to come here. My friends know if i'm celebrating anything, "are you getting crab nachos?!" It's become a part of my personality at this point. I have so much respect for the owners, the way they run their business and their honesty online. No one I've brought here has had a bad thing to say regardless of what they ordered. My go to is: Pull apart bread, crab nachos (with their hot sauce!! which, btw can i buy that by the bottle.. cause YUM) + whatever drink is calling my name (they rotate, but if you can get the pina colada you won't regret it). tldr; you'll regret NOT coming here.

I remembered that their drinks and bourbon selection/pricing used to be incredible. As with all things lately, prices have gone up on some of their rarer pours. The standard basic cocktails though were still reasonable and decently priced for the location. The atmosphere is great and service was pretty quick. The outdoor patio is still there which was a nice addition from 2019/2020 era. Some of their bourbons are still reasonably priced. Their food is pretty good. Would recommend the tacos, the burger, and carne asada. The nachos were not particularly for me, and also seemed to come out cold. Seemed to have cheese sauce instead of actual cheese. It was a cold day however. This place is mainly great for happy hour after work, but will come back and try dinner another time. Staff is great though. Really quaint and awesome spot to post up. good food, good service, good drinks, good selection, and still better pricing than most bars with what they have to offer. I would love to have a nice bar to patronize, but the bar food menu doesn't match bar food vibe. I am curious what dinner would be like here. Whoever owns this bar and whoever is curating this menu is absolutely a music head. No debate. And here's your gentle PSA: please pass that love of music AND hip-hop history to your waitstaff. Because what happened to me... was personal. There are three drinks on the menu that basically scream, "someone in here grew up on hip-hop and never emotionally left the 90s." We've got: ATLiens Aquemini 2 ____ a Butterfly (fill in the blank, but if you know, you KNOW Kendrick Lamar, 2015) Now listen this is not "aqua-mini." This is Outkast. Andre 3000. Big Boi. Southern rap royalty. It is pronounced Ah-kwim-in-eye The waitress looks me dead in my soul and says, "Oh, you mean the Aqua-mini." I was transported out of my body. Now here's the issue: I would've let it go...if a Kendrick Lamar song wasn't also on the menu. Because why are we confidently mispronouncing Outkast while casually referencing Pulitzer-level rap on the same drink list? At that point I realized I was surrounded by people under 34 who had never had to wait for TRL, decode a CD booklet, or defend Southern rap. No one in my group shared my emotional breakdown. Not one gasp. Prices & Drinks (important part): Let's talk about the $18 drink situation. I paid $18 for an Aquemini and received...vibes. Not buzz. At $18, I expect at least a whisper of alcohol. Instead, I got decorative hydration. My husband's Blueberry Smash? Better. More flavor. More personality. So now I'm sitting there thinking: I paid premium pricing for a drink I had to defend and pronounce correctly myself... and still left sober. Food: I was a little hungry and ordered fried shrimp (not on the online menu) The shrimp was fine. Just fine. The dipping sauce tried its best, and I respect that effort. Why is everything either wagyu, mussels, duck, or something you need a culinary degree to pronounce like gruyere but I can't just get a basic bar plate? Wagyu sliders, chicken bites would have been nice because I don't usually go out thinking, "Tonight feels like Wagyu and mussels at the bar." Service: I'm from Los Angeles, so I'm familiar with urban sketchy with a side of vibes. The activities near the parking spaces was very sketch. I was with a group of 8, including my husband so I felt protected by numbers. Inside, it was a Friday night but surprisingly empty. The music was loud enough to feel like a party, but quiet enough that you could still hear each other. We tried to rearrange seating to accommodate our group and the waitress said "I'm not walking around you, so keep this aisle clear." Which was fair, but also, there are gentler ways to say "I need this walkway." Or tell us the better way to set up seating in the empty bar. I didn't have a second drink frankly because I was never asked. Most places I go the waitress will come and ask if I want another drink. I don't live in Seattle, so this was my intro to night time bar life in the city. Sleepless in Seattle? I think in 2026 it's more like Sleepy in Seattle by looking at the emptiness.
