Incredibly rude services. I called in for a rice noodle. I usually ordered extra meat and bamboo shoots. It used to be 1-2 dollars and I can choose what to add. They changed the way to add extra meat and blaming me for not knowing it during the call. The rep blamed me that I should dine in instead of ordering over phone if I don't know the information. And also, she hanged up my call before we finished the ordering. It's fine if we disconnected. When I called back. She blamed me again for not speaking during the call. She said she's BUSY and has no time to explain the menu. I was shocked how a restaurant can keep pointing to customers, while they did not provide enough information to fulfill the order. It's like my fault to order and take out and I supposed to know everything in their menu. Unbelievable. read more

Went here with a lady for lunch. I got The spicy ramen and added more spice to it. They have a large selection of ramen and it's well portioned. It's typical of NYC prices for ramen but all around the 14 dollar range. It's pricier for a lunch but worth it read more

When it's time for noodle.... So we passed by this many times but never really paid much attention to it. In a small plaza at the tip of the H-Mart complex on Route 27, right behind where the Chinese tour buses meet for those long land tours. Honestly, originally I didn't have much to expect.... but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the noodles the name promises. Note: Park in the large parking lot at the back and walk to the front instead of navigating through the narrow parking spots in front. Ordered the Liuzhou-style rice noodles w/soup (lunch special -- which is basically the dish, plus the appetizer of choice plus a cold green bean soup at the end). When they say spicy, it is spicy! (in a very good way). You can taste the homemade quality in the noodle. I am usually not much of a marinated beef eater, but the sliced meat is perfect with the spicy broth, pressed fried tofu flower and floating peanuts. Also tried the Singaporean rice noodle, which is noodle with very thick "sloppy egg" sauce, which tastes as if it's straight out of one of the quay restaurants in Singapore. The noodle with tomato and eggs are also delicious, even though I wasn't too crazy about it. The only drawback is that the soup has a bit much oil on it. Service is excellent -- the lady patrols the tables with a steaming jug of hot tea for anyone who needs a refill. Requests for extra bowl and fork are quickly satisfied. The restaurant is packed around lunchtime at weekend, but the the turnover and service are excellent and as expected. I'm glad we stopped by. Will come again to try other noodle dishes on the menu! read more

This place is hit or miss. The guilin style noodle soup and the cumin lamb sandwich are great, and seem legit. I would definitely order those dishes again. Plus two stars for serving hard to find Chinese dishes. However, the jellyfish was not edible (the sauce was just vinegar) and we had to send it back :( The rice cakes were too soft, barely chewy, and the soup dumplings weirdly sweet. Service was minimal, even though we were one of the few tables there. read more

Fake beef tendon!!! I have tried beef tendon in Hunan Manor, Sichuan Spring, and Tasty Moment, all very good. Cannot believe beef tendon here was not real beef tendon. The price of beef tendon was not cheaper however. ROU JIA MO was mediocre. Guilin rice noodle soup was good. They did not accept the yelp check-in coupon which was 10%. That was a bummer. You cannot put a coupon on yelp to encourage customer to dine here then deny the coupon. The whole experience was 2 out of 5. With so many choices in Edison, I would not recommend this place. read more

I am one of those guys that will travel well out of my way for a good bowl of soup. I can slurp soup all year round and I was looking quite forward to my visit and although I wasn't disappointed, I wasn't blown away either. Edison is the central NJ capital of everything Asian. My how fortunate we are to have all these wonderful deviations masterfully prepared row after row after row waiting to be dined and devoured. I settled for the spicy Liuzhou which is a name of a town in China and apparent the style. Rice noodles cooked well filled with a lettuce leaf, tofu, sliced thin mushrooms, beef & half an egg and fairly spicy. Where it lacked was the deep flavor next to no complexity and a little too watery for my liking as I said I wasn't disappointed, but not necessarily something I would go back for. The pig intestines served cold and soft with a touch of a soy type sauce and spicy oil on the side was fun to chew on and I liked it.$13 for soup app and all you can tea is a good deal. I noticed several other authentic Asian type items such as tongue, oxtail, duck bone soup and duck fingers which I'm sure most non familiar types would scratch their head upon. So it does appear as though there are other items for me to try in the future. More of a fast food type setting small with only a handful of tables definitely not a date night atmosphere. Although it was clean and the service was exceptional, but slightly lacking in the English-speaking department. So when I'm in the area I might give them another try, but with so many other options close by it won't be high on my list currently. read more

The service is terrible and the food is mediocre. I usually don't care for inattentive service at Chinese places when the food is cheap because you get what you pay for, but the girl waiter my friends and I got was SO rude and unhelpful. It felt like she was looking down on us because we were college kids. She constantly scoffed and rolled her eyes at us when we were asking her questions about the menu (questions which she had no answers to). I've been here once before and I don't remember it being this terrible. There were obviously three people, but the waiter kept only giving us two of everything (two napkins, spoons, bowls, and water). It was annoying having to constantly ask for one more of everything because someone can't count. Now for the food, we got three appetizers: the house duck roll, house fried scallion pancake, and house steamed dumplings. And we got the house classic beef & tendon noodle with soup. We got our noodles before any of our appetizers, which was weird, but whatever. The noodles were good, the soup was kind of on the salty side, but very filling and flavorful. The house duck roll was also delicious. The scallion pancakes and steamed dumplings were a disappointment. The dumpling skins were extremely thick and the pork filling inside was filled with oil and super greasy (we did not order soup dumplings but it almost felt like it). The scallion pancakes were almost burnt and very hard. There were probably 4 scallions in total and the rest was just hard, burnt dough. Definitely won't be coming back. Although they have one or two decent things on their menu, the negatives definitely outweigh the positives. There are a bunch of other restaurants that serve similar things to this place on their menus around this area, so try somewhere else instead to save yourself from the terrible experience. read more

Satisfying lunch! See photos. Chose liuzhou noodle soup, pig ears(upon children's request -- ha!), stir fried rice cakes, oxtail noodle soup and the fuqifeipian. My friend had the beef noodle soup and said it was good. The portions we're really generous, service was good, music varied from Chinese pop to America pop and back. I love love LOVE noodles!! Usually more of the ramen or pho-style rice noodle persuasion. So when I saw this new establishment with Guilin rice noodles open up, in an area I venture to often, it was one I had to try. We started with the House Duck Roll. Nice crispy egg roll shell. The duck was a bit over cooked making it chewy, but they didn't skimp on the filling and the sweet sauce wasn't overwhelming. The Guilin rice noodles made here have made it on my list of fave noodles and I will definitely be back to try more of their noodle soups. The best way to describe these noodles are that they are round spaghetti-like noodles, that are thicker than what you would be used to in a pho-style noodle soup. I tried the Liuzhou style spicy rice noodle soup since I love super spicy food and the picture (on yelp) and on Noodle's Time's menu made it look super appealing. My soup came out, and if you take a look, it doesn't resemble what was shown. Mine came with bean curd skin. I'm in no way complaining because I do love bean curd skin, but if it was someone that didn't like this change or surprise that could be an issue. I can't give NT a 5 star rating due to this inconsistency. Being a new establishment maybe they tweeked this menu item dependent on the available ingredients in their kitchen. Or I'm thinking there must have been miscommunication on the menu item ordered and I must have been given a different menu item from what I originally wanted. The noodles were cooked perfectly and al dente, and the ratio of portion size to price is perfect. The broth was very flavorful and not too salty which are definite pros to any broths. As for the spice level it was spicy but if you can handle heat like me, you might opt to making it spicier with some chili oil. To top off dinner, they give "lu dou sha" - sweet green mung bean soup. This is such a wonderful dessert. Not too sweet and really refreshing. This is a traditional Chinese dessert which I haven't had in a while and brought me back to my childhood growing up with a lot of Chinese influence from close family friends and God parents. Service is A-OK and the space is super clean. Parking in front of this place is tight. Enter on Greenwood Ave. where there's a large lot with additional parking. read more

The address on Yelp directs you to the wrong address, the location is 1803 Lincoln Hwy, Edison, NJ 08817. Came here on a Tuesday night and was pretty quiet. We got the house duck roll, house classic need tendon noodle with soup and the liuzhou style noodles. Both were quite good. The two noodles had different types of noodle, one was more like ramen noodle whereas the liuzhou one had rice noodles. The duck rolls were only okay. I preferred the liuzhou noodles even though it was spicier than I would have liked. read more

You will have no idea how excited I was finding out this recently opened restaurant has Guilin Rice Noodle!!!! Well, I spent 18 years in Guilin and the rice noodle was basically my everyday staple. Even though what I get here is a little different from the authentic one but still, it's good enough. I also had the Liuzhou Spicy Rice Noodle, which is really close to the authentic one, but warning- it's spicy!!!
