The summer rolls are the typical size but not over stuffed with noodles which I really appreciate. Their spring roll order came with 4 spring rolls but only one piece of lettuce, 2 pieces of cucumbers, and very little mint. It's definitely not enough to wrap all 4 spring rolls. My pho, with added bok choy, had an abundance of bok choy and the beef and brisket slices were hidden under the noodles. Flavors: 5 The soup is more delicate than typical pho broth, but I appreciate that it's not as sweet and some other restaurants make it. The last time I ate here, the broth was hotter than today, but their chili pepper sure made up for the lack of heat. It was so spicy! So good! I want to start off talking about a past experience and then talk about a recent experience. I have come to The Pho House before. They had made a name for themselves in my kind of feed by being a halal pho place. The issue in the past was that the menu wasn't fully halal so you had to think a bit harder about what is halal and what is not. Service was slower and I didn't really want to come back again. Food was fine but I did need to spice it up with sauces Now on to my recent experience. I was meeting some people that wanted to come here and I just wanted to be out so I said why not? Little did I know, that they actually changed management in the past year. I did notice that they have gone toward a full halal menu which is actually really nice to see. I ordered a spiced pho bowl and I did not need to add anything. It was the right amount of spice that I like which I havent seen from other pho shops. Service was very speedy. I can not remember how they did ordering before but you get a QR code on the table to scan. The code has a menu and you add items to a cart for the table and it comes on your bill together at the end. I was curious to see if it could match the quality of the previous restaurant, especially since the decor is pretty much the same. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations. Date night with hubby and we decided to try the Pho House, which took over the Pho Spot - one of my fav for pho soup. All the decor remained the same as before from the previous owner, but just the store name and menu has changed. I ordered chicken beef spring roll with vermicelli noodles. I was disappointed they don't serve pork here. The chicken and beef were a bit bland and dry. The dish was also missing crushed peanuts. The egg roll was good and I liked that they weren't cheap on the veggies. I also sampled from my husband of pho with beef and it was decent and definitely tastes better than my dish. We came on Friday for dinner and the place was packed. We got lucky and seated pretty quickly. They have some long tables in the middle so our party of 2 was seated in between two other parties at both ends. Right after us there were several parties that had a bit of a wait. What we ordered: - 2 bowls of Pho Beef Combo - Fried Chicken Wings I went to this location before when it was another place called "The Pho Spot" but I didn't even realize that it is under new management. I had high hopes for it because the last place had actually some good pho broth. I'd have to say this broth is decent but I personally prefer the other one. I had an issue with one of my meat balls being frozen on the inside. I bit into it and immediately spit it out. I called the server over and she seemed flustered and just offered me another meatball. I declined and she left. Then I thought about it and called her back over to ask if they could give me another protein instead. The manager came over with some beef pieces for me and apologized for the issue. He said sometimes due the size of the meatball they can come across this issue. Tried Pho House with some friends as we decided to give it a shot. Not your typical authentic Vietnamese restaurant but the food was pretty tasty. The Banh Mi wasn't very traditional and the pho definitely needed bigger portion of meats for the price, but the broth was delicious. My niece wanted to try this Vietnamese restaurant so we came to check it out. Two in our party got the Thai tea. One person liked theirs more than the other. Ordered crab rice and the fried wings. Someone in the reviews complained that it was only 5 wings for $10. But it's an appetizer, not an entree. Others complained about the portions and not enough meat in their pho. But 3 out of 4 of us got pho and the portions were just fine. It was plenty. I think some are just looking for a reason to complain. I got a beef bahn mi and I thought it was just fine. The Pho House is quite trendy for a pho place with a very beautiful interior, booths, and art. It almost has a brewery feel. It still has a casual vibe with very nice servers and the food comes out quickly. The vegetarian summer rolls were delicious although the peanut sauce may have been one notch too close to peanut butter for me. I still enjoyed eating it a lot though. The vegetarian pho is very tasty. I loved the baby bok choy and mushrooms. The broth was very peppery with cinnamon notes. My partner and I ordered the large pho beef combo with eye round steak, brisket, and meatballs. We were honestly shocked at how big the bowl was -- plenty to share, and totally worth the $17.95 for two people. It came with fresh bean sprouts, basil, and lime on the side, which made it even better. My friend ordered the steak and brisket pho and loved it! The portion was so generous she even had enough to take half home. Between the huge servings, fair prices, amazing staff, and cool ambiance, this place really has it all. I can't wait to come back. We decided to come here for dinner and do some shopping nearby. After arriving, we were immediately seated. The server told us, prior to sitting down, that it's cash only because the credit card machine was down. The restaurant is medium in size, with one wall covered in corrugated metal and the other being lined with wooden booths that seat up to 4 patrons. The corrugated-metal wall has a light up sign that says "You had me at Pho" as well as four framed maps of Saigon, Da Nang, Huê, and Hanoi and long booths lined up against it. Ceiling lights resembling white paper umbrellas hang from spotlight rafters while long tables cover the middle area. Daughter ordered the Seafood Noodle Soup, which came with rice noodles, beef stock, shrimp, squid and fish balls. She liked her order and thought that there was plenty of flavor. Hubs ordered the Pho Beef Short Rib, which has rice noodles, slow braised short rib and vegetables.. After watching TikTok and Youtube bloggers order short rib in a soup, Hubs said that he had to try one. He was disappointed with it. The meat was soft but there wasn't any seasoning or condiments with it. He added hoisin sauce but it was still bland. The pho was a little bland as well. Lastly, I ordered Vietnamese Sandwich with Grilled Beef. It came along with pate, cucumbers, pickled vegetables, coriander and mayonnaise on a baguette. I was disappointed with this. The bread wasn't the typical Vietnamese baguette. It wasn't as crunchy as I expected. I don't recall how I felt about the beef and the pate because I was disappointed with the bread. For me, the bread is what encompasses the sandwich. We also shared an order of Vegetable Spring Rolls, which has mixed spiced vegetables, vinaigrette soy sauce and greens to wrap. This was ok but there was only one lettuce leaf for the entire order. Usually, you'd wrap a lettuce leaf along with the mint leaf and cucumber and dip it before eating it. So, we were disappointed that only one leaf was given. So, the menu was a little misleading. Instead of saying greens, it should say green to wrap. LOL. There's a cash discount if you pay in cash. I believe it's 3%. Also, daughter ordered Diet Coke and got an Aldi soda. Service was quick and friendly. I'm glad we got to try this place but there are tons of other Vietnamese places for me to try. read more

Another pho restaurant bites the dust. I have not found a decent place to get pho within the area. However, I did somewhat enjoy the Pho Spot which was the restaurant before they switch to this one. Mainly the difference is the quality and quantity of the food. Pho house is more on the pricier side for no reason. I cannot lie. The broth is pretty good and legit but the portion you get is pretty small. It's basically all broth little to no meat at all. Barely any fresh veggies. It was kind of ridiculous. I also wanted to try the fish sauce fried chicken, which is a very interesting concept. However, I had paid $10 for just five pieces of chicken, which was a rip off. The Vietnamese coffee here was alright a little underwhelming. The Customer Service was good, although the hostess was a little awkward. I came here by myself and asked for a booth and it didn't seem like she wanted to give me a booth because I was by myself. I know it can be inconsiderate, But Seeing that the restaurant was not that busy I thought she could accommodate that nicely. The pho soup, full of msg, barely any beef in that dish. Super skimpy. Ordered the curry noodles, it looked flavorful in color with the curry powder used but literally no flavor. Like zero at all. Chef must have forgotten to put any salt or seasoning so I had to re-cook it at home. Bahn mi, horrible bread. I used to love the pho spot so I thought I'll try this place. I guess it's not bad but it wasn't for me. From what I understand, it's a completely different recipe. Ordering was a little strange because no one took my order. I had to place it via my cellphone and the server just brought the food out, sort of similar to fast food. I also had to give up my email address to place the order. I thought there'd be no server interaction but they did visit the table to ask if everything is fine. They also stop by to collect the payment. I was unsure how to tip because there was so little interaction. I ordered the pho and I was unimpressed. I did waste it because it was making my stomach turn. The broth tasted very oily. It was almost impossible to drink. It also lacked flavor. They were generous with the shrimp, which is positive. Had dinner there tonight sorry to say it was very disappointing. Just wanted to say the food was not what they advertised, what I got was nothing like the picture on the menu. I ordered the grilled vermicelli platter, the spring roll was from a frozen package, it was not the spring roll of a Vietnamese restaurant. The so called grilled chicken and beef, basically was few shredded meat, tasteless. The chicken wings were just dry.
