    Chicken stir fry
    Danny D.

So, I came with my wife and she really enjoyed her ramen. Me on the other hand I did not enjoy the stir fry at all. The chicken was bland and the homemade noodles felt just so chewy and heavy. I took a few bites then took it to go. One of my kids ate it and liked it. If you want home made noodles then this is your place. Just wasn't my cup of tea

We stopped by for lunch after looking for a homemade hand pulled noodle spot. We ordered 3 different noodle dishes with all different type of noodles and all were delicious. It's a lot of food and the service was great. The restaurant is a bit small and filled up pretty quickly around lunch time. We will definitely return to try other menu items.

I was surprised how packed this spot was for dinner on the weekend! There were a few times I noticed there were no available tables, but they do turn them around pretty quickly. I came with a group of friends and everything was tasty. My favorites were the signature beef noodle soup (which has a flavorful, rich broth) and the pork/lamb burger appetizer. The popcorn chicken was also a good side dish to share with the table. The restaurant as a whole is no frills and casual. Although it was busy, the servers did their best to keep up and helped us when needed.

Love the handpulled noodle restaurant. Been meaning to try this place after it changed over from the last restaurant and I'm glad we did. The hands pulled noodles are soft and chewy and absorbs the flavors so nicely. Ordered the lanzhao intestine noodle soup and the lanzhao stir fry hands pulled noodle and loved both dishes. The soup was so rich and flavorful without being salty and loved all the cilantro in it. Noodles were chewy and went so well with the broth. The sour fry noodles were even better with the noodles absorbing all the sauce and was a great contrast compared to the soup. Staff were also friendly and very attentive to our needs. Place is clean and orderly. Plenty of parking and conveniently located off route 27.

Stir fried knife sliced noodles & tofu and century egg

My first time here and had ordered takeout. All of their items on the menu sounded delicious. However, what I had ordered was not that great. I had the stir fried sliced noodles and this was okay. The noodles itself was good and I can eat pounds of it but I did not enjoy the sauce and the tomatoes in it. I was a bit confused what the dish was going for. It lacked in flavor and was nothing mind blowing as I had thought it would be. I also ordered the tofu with the century egg - this was good. I had enjoyed this. Otherwise, the food was mediocre. I would come back to get something else and try NewDa again!

I stopped in at this restaurant for dinner. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked into the restaurant and was greeted. I was sat at a booth. Altair was my server and he was nice! I ordered: - Rose Tea - Lamb Burger - Tomato Beef Noodle Soup w/ Thick Noodles - Big Plate Chicken with Wide Noodles My favorite dish was the big plate chicken with Wide Noodles! This was a good restaurant all in all!

I saw quite a few reels of this place on IG so decided to give it a try. We came early (11:30) to beat the crowd and left Happy! For appetizer, we tried a lamb burger. It's flavorful and the bread (burger) was home-made and so good! For noodles, my husband had 大盤雞拌麵 Big plate chicken with (wide) noodles: Great flavor. The chicken was cooked with bone and brown peppers so it's so delicious but some people may be annoyed but it's so good! I had 刀削炒麵 knife-cut stir-fried noodles...this put a smile on my face ^_^ It's cooked with tomato, pepper and onion. They offered different meat options and I ordered the chicken. They brought me the noodles with beef, I didn't mind so I didn't say anything and ate it anyway...It was not your usual stir-fried beef, it's beef cubes braised and tender! What a happy mistake! 15 minutes later, the waiter brought over the noodles with chicken b/c he realized the error so...Now I got to try both! They actually tasted different. The noodles with chicken tasted more tomato b/c chicken flavor is more mild. They're both Delicious! The place was clean and wait staff were friendly and very helpful. They are so Good; we will definitely return to try more!

Great new noodle place with authentic handmade noodles, made on the premises. We came on a cold, rainy Saturday for lunch and the place was packed. We were greeted by the friendly staff upon entering and waited for less than 10 min for a table. I had the Beef Noodle soup and my husband had the Spicy and Tingling beef soup -both with thin noodles. We also ordered the cucumber sales and the King Fu tea. Big hearty portions and some of the best soup I've had in a long time. The food came out so quickly and service was friendly and attentive. Even though the place was constantly packed, they turned tables quickly. I will definitely come back and highly recommend.

Nice spot in Edison for some handmade noodles. The restaurant is in small strip mall and very casual. Come early because there is always a wait. We arrived Saturday at 5 and waited about 45 min for a group of 5. We got the combo for 4, which comes with a signature dish, four noodles, four appetizers and four drinks. We had the big plate chicken, which was exactly what it sounds like, a big plate of spicy chicken over noodles. The noodles were a tad over cooked for this dish. We tried the beef noodle soup and intestine noodle soup, knife cut stir fried noodle and the tingly spicy oil noodle. The tomato beef noodle soup was a tad sweet and the intestine soup was very spicy. The tingly spicy oil noodle is different from what we're used to, it had a rich tomato broth and egg mixed in. The sauces were all good with a nice vinegary pickle. Service is as expected for a Chinese restaurant.

Good food, the food is pretty spicy so know your spice level. Staff are friendly and there is a good enough space.

New experience of Lanzhou hand pull noodle in NJ. It's comparable to Chinatown & Flushing standard. We order signature beef noodle soup 4/5, northwest braised lamb 4/5, pork burger 5/5, tofu with century egg 5/5, ice peak orange drink. Hand crafted restaurant is a rare nowadays. The effort and dedication is well respected. Best service ever

I ordered the A1 Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup with the recommended, thick noodles. It was flavorful and found the broth to be a little towards the salty side, but overall great noodles to warm you up on a cold day. The beef didn't stick out to me as much, kind of bland. The popcorn chicken was meh, wasn't super crunchy but the portion size was big. Food comes out relatively quick. They did give me a water cup that was dirty so that was inconvenient but we had a spare. If you're craving some noodle soup, this is a nice play to try some - they have a variety with pictures on the menu and lots of spicy options (and non spicy options).

The hand pulled noodles are amazing. The flavors of the chili oil and dishes are delicious. Staff were so nice and helpful.

We opted for the two person deal. 3 apps and 2 mains for $55 - a great deal. For apps we shared the beef gyoza, chicken karaage and takoyaki. The gyoza was ok; the karaage was pretty good and the takoyaki was standard, but good. I had the tonkotsu and my husband had the spicy miso tonkotsu and we both added the ajitama (marinated egg). Both ramens were nice and hot but flavors were underwhelming. The pork itself was good. The noodles were just ok. The tonkotsu had heavy garlic flavor but I was expecting a heartier broth with rich pork flavored like I'm used to. The spicy miso tonkotsu had a kick but also could have been richer. For all the ravings I was expecting better flavors so we're slightly disappointed. Maybe it was an off night. They close at 8:30 so around 8:20 felt slight pressure to finish up (not in a rude way). We had a party of 6 and still had to wait about 25 minutes for a table as the place is pretty small. Right after we sat down we accidentally spilled a glass of water and it took so much effort to flag down a waiter to get some napkins. They didn't even help us clean it up, we could barely mop up what was on spilled on the table because they gave us very little napkins. Then when we asked for more napkins when the food came out the waitress counted it out and gave us exactly 6, one for each person. As for the food, a big disappointment. The tuna was not the bright pink color it normally is and instead had a dark red/purple hue to it, a little concerning. The yellowtail and squid were super chewy. The mackeral was very fishy, which I understand mackeral is on the fishy side for raw fish but I've had it in Japan where is was the exact opposite. Honestly, the only fresh tasting fish was the salmon. The food was slow to come out even though the wait staff was very attentive with grabbing our menu orders. Most likely will not be returning.

Upon entertaining on a weekend evening, there were a few tables with patrons but not too busy. The restaurant did seem a bit understaffed with only one person taking orders / bringing food out, making it difficult to flag down this one person to successfully take our order and ask for anything additional throughout the night. Gyudon: for the price, we were really surprised at how small of a portion this was. It was not only in a small bowl, but the meat was layered on top perfectly deceiving you to think that there was more than there actually was. The majority of this dish was rice, and with limited sauce at that. As displayed on the menu images it was to be served with a runny egg, but unfortunately we got a fully cooked one (disappointing, as we were looking for something to mix with the rice!) Sushi: We got a 3 rolls and they were just alright. They were pretty small in size, with less rice than I'm used to (which is something I do like - I would rather more fish than rice!) With us getting spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy scallop - they all kind of tasted the same, so I wish the fish wasn't as heavily masked with spicy mayo. Ramen: I got the black garlic ramen, and it wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. I've purchased fresh ramen packages in the supermarket before and it tasted just like that, so it made me disappointed knowing I could achieve the same at home. The soup itself was extremely rich and fatty, and the charsiu had no flavor whatsoever leaving much to be desired. The main reason I'm rating this so low is upon having my last bites of sushi, I could tell something was off. I don't recall which specifically I had but I made a statement that it was extremely fishy and off putting. Fast forward later that night, I was hunched over the toilet vomiting with stomach pain - and I can deduct that the sushi was the culprit. I might consider trying Ottoyee again due to the great deals they have listed on food delivery apps, but the sushi quality (quite literally) put a bad taste in my mouth.

Like many people today, I'm mindful of what I spend dining out, so I expect good value for the price. Since I live in South Jersey, I brought the food home to eat later. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The ramen included four slices of chashu (pork belly), but three of those slices were entirely fat with no meat. I understand that pork belly naturally contains fat--that's part of what makes it flavorful--but receiving pieces that were essentially all fat made the dish unpleasant and felt like poor quality control. I called the restaurant to share my concern, but the response was underwhelming. I was simply told the manager would be informed. When I asked if there was anything further that could be done, I received no real resolution--just a basic explanation of what pork belly is. As someone who understands the product, that explanation missed the point. The issue wasn't what chashu is--it was the quality of what was served. Everything else about the meal was fine, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. However, customer service matters just as much as the food. A simple effort to address the issue or offer a solution would have made a big difference. As a former business owner, I've always believed customer satisfaction should be a top priority. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and for that reason, I won't be returning.
