[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place for a vibey dinner! Had great music and loved all the decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waiter was also awesome. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside on a hot day and it wasn't too bad.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] To start we tried the sikil pak and loved it! The chips were perfect and the dip was similar to a pesto. Really enjoyed the juicy tomatoes it comes with too. For entrees and small plates we tried the fish tacos, the fried avocado tacos, barbacoa tacos, the duck tostada, and the shrimp dish. Really loved the shrimp and the barbacoa tacos. The other tacos were good but a little dry. The fish and avocado tacos are the same except for the protein inside. The duck tostada was good, not great. I did love the hot sauce that came with it and was putting it on my tacos. For dessert we got the tres leches and it was delicious! Came for a birthday dinner and they bring out a sparkler with your dessert. Overall, the vibes were great and the food was good but didn't eat anything that amazed me. Definitely want to come back for their taco happy hour!

The food is incredible. I love the tapas. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is definitely nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is top notch. The menu is on the pricier side, but you do get quality food and service.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]2 years later, the place still looks cool, though a little more worn off.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They started a great happy hour, $10 for a margarita and 2 tacos (they are smaller but delish) The tequila ceviche was super weird, the foam was pretty but yuk, but once the foam went down into liquid, it turned out very good. Service was nice, friendly and professional. Highly recommend for HH! Pro-tip: if you're not big on fish, you can ask to switch your second taco to meat, and vice versa.

Friday's $25 prix fixe lunch menu is worth it! You get an app, two tacos, and dessert. The $1 margs seal the deal. My limit is 2! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great service (Thanks, Collin!) in an elegant and relaxing environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is limited. Reservations recommended.

Always a great time! Parking - yes, free parking behind the restaurant and if it's full across the street there's a cheap parking garage Food - upscale, more tapas vibes, unique and occasionally roaring menu. Flavors are fresh, balanced, and haven't run into a menu option I haven't liked. Drinks - spicy marg here is great! Fun drink options, also plenty of wine options. Service - friendly and attentive. We've been here multiple times and it's always been a positive experience.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Food was fantastic, service was on point, love the vibe, I felt like I was in a resort.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My husband was excited it was gluten free kitchen bc he has an allergy. The server/kitchen was even accommodating to his dairy allergy as well. Stand out dishes were the tuna tostadas, and Waygu tacos, and the brussel sprouts I know just Brussels but with the stone fruit it gave it a sweet and earthy flavor I also really loved the hiramasa ceviche. I loved having the pineapple in it compared to just lemon or lime. The coconut lime sorbet was nice and zesty. The churros were really good but kept falling apart as we dipped. There is free parking directly behind the restaurant or on the street. The garage next door was $18 for 2 hours

OVERVIEW: Decent (if not overpriced) food if you go during happy hour or for their new Friday lunch deal like we did. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nothing spectacular or anything to write home about, but not a bad spot for some beachy vibes and expensive tacos.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is casual and quick. $25 3-course lunch special with $1 margs (max 3 per person) on Fridays! QUICK FACTS: - Parking? Yes, small lot behind the restaurant and street parking. - Reservations? Yes, recommended but not required. We walked in as a party of 2 on a Friday around 11:45am and were able to snag a table immediately. - Happy hour? Yes, they do have HH specials as well as the Friday lunch deal (as of 4/3/26). FOOD RATINGS: - Guac (3/5): Pretty mediocre as far as guac can go. Tastes like the premade stuff from the store. Nothing special. - Crudo (3/5): Not a bad crudo. Pleasantly surprised at how decent it was. Especially as part of the lunch course! - Brisket taco (4/5): Hate that everything has the buzz word "Wagyu" now, but this was a good taco. Generously filled. Nice spicy kick. - Fried fish taco (4/5): Despite looking like a black turd, this was pretty tasty. Tortillas were good. Toppings were good. They have a super spicy salsa available upon request. - Coconut lime sorbet (4/5): Refreshing and as expected. $1 margs can't be beat! They did taste like a mixer though. You get what you pay for.

Yucatán-inspired restaurant. Tulum inspired design. Also known to be 100% gluten-free and seed-oil free for those with dietary sensitivities. There is a plant-based and vegan menu, but it's not entirely clear as they are blurred on the menu and a guest who doesn't eat dairy had selection of the menu after being assured it was "OK". They did the best they could to own the mistake, but it's something to be mindful of. I am a consistent guest here. As the food and service is predictable. Something about knowing what you're going to get from the experience and it doesn't deviate with highs and lows. I've had a lot of the menu, but I need to explore other dishes I've not had. I enjoy what Chef Jay is doing in the kitchen.

I want to be here every Friday for their lunch special! Literally the best three course deal you will get in Austin for $25. I had the ceviche, the Wagyu taco and the fish taco. For dessert, that passion fruits, sorbet, and the coconut pineapple flan were an absolute banger. The service was absolutely amazing. We sat outside. It literally felt like we're sitting in a sexy bar at a beach in Tulum. And that wasn't all the best part. They had margaritas for a dollar during lunch. And it wasn't their bottom shelf tequila. I expected to have multiple but only needed one drink to feel everything I needed to feel . Never seen a deal this amazing.

Nomade lead us off our Matcha Half Marathon tasting trail, but was nonetheless one the best drinks I had all day. Nomade served a hibiscus mimosa drink minus the alcohol. The drink was aesthetically pleasing to view and even more delightful to drink. I was reminded of the hotels in Cairo and Luxor Egypt, where they brought you a refreshing hibiscus welcome drink upon check-in into the hotel. While not Matcha, it was overwhelming delicious. I could have this hibiscus drink all day long. Nomade is a convergence of Zen, open concept and totally earthy environment. It has a retreat like atmosphere with the neutral colors and wicker basket lighting along with gravel floors in some areas of the restaurant. Our server was super friendly and extremely welcoming. Some people you meet, you feel like you have known them your entire life. This was the feeling today.

If you love tacos/Mexican food, I think you got to try Nomade! We came here for a Saturday lunch and there were quite a lot of people so we had to wait 15mins to be seated. Luckily, we found parking behind the restaurant but it didn't seem like they have a lot of parking available in general. I ordered 3 tacos and they were all amazing and delicious! The chorizo and Castecan tacos were so juicy. I also love that the Frijole taco is full of lean cut meat. I did enjoy the Paunches Bendict but it's a bit on the heavier side so it would be better if you are sharing with someone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love their decoration inside and outside, makes me feel like I'm not in Austin anymore![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Highly recommended to sit outside to enjoy the food if it's not too hot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

WOW! Had my birthday dinner here and can't wait to go back! What a special place! Everything from the fresh ceviche to the mezcal cocktails to the great service were above and beyond. We shared a bunch of small plates: COCONUT FLATBREAD: wood-fired flatbread $8, TOSTADAS CON SALSAS: piña pipian/salsa verde/charred habanero masienda heirloom corn tostadas $8, GRILLED MAYAN OCTOPUS: guajillo harrisa glazed/crispy potato yucatecan pico/cilantro $24, HIRAMASA CEVICHE: dutch yellowtail/mezcal lime espuma pineapple/mint $24, TUNA TOSTADA: spicy tuna/avocado/smoked trout roe pickled mustard seed/crema de ajo $20 and more. The hiramasa ceviche and tuna tostada were stand out specials to me. I loved the fresh raw fish in the unique mezcal sauce! The tuna tostada was just a perfect bite. These are all my favorite things. I loved the El Yucatecan --Reposado Tequila, Ensamble Mezcal, Jalisco Orange Habanero, Lime $17. I got it without the habanero and it was no problem to omit it. I also enjoyed mezcal margaritas after this amazing drink. Maybe my new favorite place for a mezcal marg. Our server brought out complimentary desserts for my birthday! Churros and tres leches to share. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had heaters on the patio and it was super comfortable in February.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I am so excited that we decided to try this place and can't wait to go again soon!

I give the service 5 stars, the food 3 stars, and the ambiance 4 stars. It felt wrong giving 3 stars so I'm rounding to 4. The food was ok. I'd give everything a B. It was good. No complaints but nothing was exceptional and I didn't find myself going back for another bite of anything in particular. The food was on the pricier side. For 2 adults and 2 kids we spend $238 (including tip) I would not voluntarily come back. But I'm glad we tried it once.

Arriba Abajo as you walked in just gave me all the vibes of a happening place when you want to hang out with friends and have a great time. We ordered the braised ribs rolled tacos for appetizers. It was so fresh and kicking' with all kinds of flavors. I wish I had ordered another one. The avocado sauce layered on the bottom was just enough to keep wanting more. For lunch I ordered the Carneasada Fajitas with chimichurri and my husband ordered the Carneasada Taqueria. With my fajitas came a side of frijoles, green rice & flour tortillas. Corn flour was the other option. Both meals came in pipin' hot & the smell coming from both was very aromatic, zesty & spice. Amazing taste, flavors, just the right amount of marinade on the Carneasada with a hint of lime. It was so delicious while enjoying the ambiance. Our server was a delight and took very good care of us. We didn't order any of their alcoholic beverages since we were both working, but definitely we will be back to enjoy more food and try out their beverages.

We made a reservation for inside, and upon arrival, the staff mentioned that'd we'd have to wait quite some time for our table. Instead, they suggested an outside table wouldn't be too bad. We were happy to accommodate, but then the service was noticeably slow (both for drinks and for food). Price points were high (but, I suppose not unexpected for a hotel restaurant). The spot we were in just felt like limbo between guests enjoying the pool and people inside enjoying A/C and good music. May give it another shot down the road.

So we were thinking of tacos or Mexican food and my daughter suggested this spot as she had come here with some friends and really enjoyed their sopecitos. I had never had a sopecito! What is that! Well I got the chicken sopecitos , my daughter got the pork ones and my partner got the meat tacos. Everything was delicious, the food arrived promptly, the portion size was perfect and bountiful and everything was super enjoyable. I really enjoyed trying some New Mexican favorites. Somehow I'd never been despite living so close, so I was excited to finally check it off my list. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and their famous foyer is just as pretty in person as everyone says. I came with a friend, and we grabbed seats at the bar first while waiting, but I definitely recommend making reservations because this place is BUSY, even on a weeknight. Parking can also be a bit of a struggle since they have a pretty small lot. I had to make a few laps before I finally found a spot, so definitely give yourself a little extra time. They do offer valet, and I believe you may also be able to park in the lot next door after hours since it's their sister restaurant, but don't quote me on that haha. Their margaritas are also really good and definitely on the stronger side, so they were a great way to start the meal. The staff here was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the night. They even walked us to our table and later showed me where the bathroom was, which I thought was a really nice touch. As for the food, it definitely lives up to the hype. It's on the pricier side, but everything tasted incredibly fresh and was well worth it. We ordered the enchiladas, which were delicious, and the shrimp was probably my favorite part of the meal because it was so fresh and perfectly cooked. I can definitely see why this restaurant has been around for so long and has such a loyal following. It took me way too long to finally come here, but I'll definitely be back. One thing I'm noticing as we do these is that you often write reviews that are genuinely useful--not just "food good/bad." You include things like reservations, parking, what to order, or where to sit. I think we should keep leaning into that because it feels very authentic to your style and makes your reviews stand out.
