Beef falafel

This place had everything I like about these Mediterranean places - quick service, well seasoned meat, and a smooth combination of spices and textures within. 10/10!

Yummy, went a bit close to closing but staff were still super nice. Chain Greek is an interesting concept and I'm liking it. Self serve condiment section! Like chipotle.

Chicken Souvlaka, steak bowl, nick fries

First time at Nick the Greek, food was great. Mediterranean bowl was really fresh and the steak on it was super juicy and flavorful. The Chicken Souvlaka was excellent. Nick fries were good as well. Ordering was easy and food came out quick and hot. Workers are very attentive. Will be back!

Now this little Greek restaurant is got excellent fresh food. I have been here at three or four times already very good service polite clean and everything is cooked to perfection. I find it to be very healthy and I also like the beef shish kebab. It's really good. I do recommend that you try it. I think it's a pretty nice Greek place if you're looking for Greek food.

Great food and fast service. The Mediterranean bowl was great, servings are massive. Falafel is nice and crispy on the outside and soft inside

Odd that Houston, which is so multicultural and has a Greek festival, lacks a variety of Greek restaurants. So I was excited about this place, although don't love the location. I'll keep this review short because I wasn't too excited about this find. Food is ok, average. Basically Greek fast food. Typical Houston food. I did like the the self ordering kiosks and the fact that the food wasn't super salty.

Rhonda immediately greets when you enter and answers any questions or concerns you have about your order . The food is absolutely delicious & The Greek Burger is so good the bread is soft and the burger meat cooked nice n crispy The Gryo is better than Halal Guys fsfs. It's clean and the bathrooms are super clean . A 10 out of 10 . I stop going to Chipotle

Mediterranean bowl w/ steak

Move aside Cava and Chipotle, I have a new go-to restaurant for delicious bowls! The Mediterranean bowl with steak is so good. It comes with rice, steak, an assortment veggies (my fav was the fried chickpeas), salad, toum, hummus, and harissa all for $15.25 + tax. What a steal!! If this location was closer than I would be here daily!

Veggie Pita

Great establishment and customer service. Highly recommend if you're looking to introduce yourself to Mediterranean cuisine! I got the veggie pita just for something light.

Beef/lamb gyro

The beef and lamb gyro was seriously the best gyro I've ever tasted in my life. The gyro was brimming with perfectly seasoned meat and topped off with a great mix of sauces and veggies . The overall portion size was perfect: filling without being too heavy for lunch. The gyro combo came with their Greek fries, which were equally fantastic. The fries were cut just right and generously topped with garlic seasoning and crumbled feta--flavorful in every bite. Excited to re-visit and try other items on the menu!

Waited til the grand opening hype went down before visiting. You can order at the front or at the kiosk. I got the gyro bowl and it was massive! Lots of meat, veg, and rice with a complimentary water. The service is slow (which they apologized for). It was clean inside but offered little seating. Saw most people getting it to go. You can see the meat cooking on the spit in the open kitchen. Can't wait to come back!

The menu is great I wanted to try different things but I went with the beef/lamb gyro. The service was great the lady at the counter was really nice . The place looked really clean. I like how they had self ordering machines and you can see the kitchen. Any place that allows you to view the kitchen has to be clean. Good drink options. The ambiance is good but they have people sleeping in there which wasn't a good look. There was a lady in the kitchen with no gloves just eating food while working which was weird. For the food part- the time I waited wasn't long. Took about 5 mins the gyro itself was great. I like how the fries are in it. Some places don't do that. Also great seasonings , overall great place and will try again.

Amazing service and very delicious wraps i enjoyed my lunch here and i will be returning back !

My recent visits here consisted of a Gyros Plate with rice, Hamburger with uncut tomatoes n pickles…read more& lemon potatoes and Greek Spaghetti Meat Sauce on Sunday Special. All 3 meals were really flavorful, good quality, really well-seasoned, very juicy and so delicious. The gyros and burger are without question imo the best in TX. Ekko's and Nick The Greek are 2nd n 3rd for Greek food for me. I always got the gyros sandwich as opposed to the plate before which is odd bc I always prefer meat plates over sandwich form in other foods like bbq, steak, etc. The meat pieces were all really tasty and had some slight char to them too. The taziki sauce is always cold, creamy in feel and refreshing with a good yogurt aroma to it. It's a great bonus and the gyros didn't even need it tbh. The tomatoes were nicely refreshing and the exotic, cool center dolma is always a little treat with meals here. The rice and chunky lemon potatoes with my meals were always mild but still great in texture and prep. As I said before; from my experiences in every single Greek cafe, if the taziki sauce is good, the gyros will be too. It's a solid symptom and indicator imo. As for the burger, very rarely are burger places only in TX actually any good for the past 15 years. So many are just average or below lacking seasoning or a great overall flavor. Niko Niko's, Goode Company Hamburgers and TX Hamburger Palace are my top 3 in that order for it. Each different too. The brioche buns were just the right thickness and very soft to make the beef patty stick out well. The patty was so nice in charbroiled taste, saltiness, richness, beefiness and tender in every bite. A good burger doesn't need much in toppings, but cool, refreshing, tomatoes are a must for me and pickles add some tangy crunch too. For steak rare, but for a burger medium to medium rare. I had never seen or heard of their Greek Spaghetti n Meat Sauce before. This was like a Greek Bolognese with a lot of love in its flavor. The noodles were drained, very moist and so soft. I don't like too much cheese, so I took some off, but still like some. The meat sauce gravy itself was really flavorful, savory, fatty enough and had that subtle sweet, warm spice aroma you get in the Greek lasagna. I like to get dessert here sometimes when I have extra room, bc they have some great options like their galaktobourreko, chocolate ganache cake, etc. The service was very welcoming, friendly and efficient on these visits.

While the wine selection and date friendly vibes were good selling points, the subpar service, high prices, and average food made for a less than stellar experience. These factors likely contributed to their recent closure, which is unfortunate. The interior was modern and intimate. High ceilings and large mirrors made the place feel more spacious than it was. It was a nice vibe that made the place visually appealing and date friendly. The brick walls, nice decor pieces, and ultra clean bathrooms were a big thumbs up. But vibes can't save poorly executed food. The octopus was dry and overcooked, the potato croquettes were a bit disappointing, as was, the trio of of dips. The souvlaki was supposed to be their most popular dish, but after trying their ribeye, pork, and chicken, it was simply too bland and not up to par. The gyro platters did not fare much better and the lamb chops were under seasoned. The lemon potatoes needed way more lemon but the only dish that was acceptable was the spanakopita (aka spinach pie). It was all overpriced, especially given the modest portions. Service was often aloof or nowhere to be found. When the nice woman butchered souvlaki and spanakopita, my gut was already in cringe. At least there was discount for cash. While I am saddened by their departure, I take comfort in knowing there are better options available in the city.

However, we were charged for it at the end. I understand the charge itself, but no one at the table had ordered it; they just set it on the table. It would have been nice if the staff had made it clear or asked if we wanted to add it to our meal. Perhaps there was a mix up with another table. Our experience was otherwise great, but double check the menu for what is complimentary and what isn't.
