If I could give negative stars, I would. Not only was our move 4 hours late, the movers broke multiple items and didn't even say a word about it! We have a 6 year old who was up way past a normal bed time because the movers were there until midnight!!! I contacted management to get the broken items and damages resolved and their solution was to credit me a half hour of my time back - which never even got credited. The movers scraped the walls in my old home, broke the door frame in the new one, broke a large standing mirror, broke the table legs off my table which slammed to the ground putting deep scratches into my new hardwood floor, and didn't even move all the items requested. I have hired professional movers for all of my moves and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had!!! Who doesn't take furniture apart to move it? Or wrap items to protect them and the walls? Or take off doors for items that won't fit through them? My husband and I took the basement door off after noticing the damage so they wouldn't break anything else. The entire process was highly unprofessional and both the team and manager lacked any customer service skills when trying to resolve the issue. The manager never even returned the funds to my account for the refund!!! They didn't offer insurance to cover such damages either, I should've known then something wasn't right. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!!!! read more

If you live in LA you know moving can be stressful, but not when you hire Nextgen movers! Walter and Andrew were by far the best movers I've ever had!!! These guys know that making a service personable and fun is the key to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this company if you want true professionalism and expert movers. Whatever obstacles came in these guys' way they were able to overcome with ease and confidence. They handled our belongings with care and treated us like we were more than just clients, they treated us like friends! Thanks again Walter and Andrew!!! read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY! The movers arrived late, barely talked to us, wouldn't bring any items upstairs, damaged our items, and refuses to reconcile these matters. My boyfriend had called this company to help with a last minute move, about 30 minutes away. They started off with a bad impression by arriving 20 minutes later than what was agreed. During the move, we noticed that their dolly and other supplies were dirty and were tracking mud and dirt throughout both places. After letting them know, they refused to bring any boxes upstairs at our new place. I have a disability which limits how much manual labor I can do at any given time, so this was very unfortunate. We then noticed that they had damaged our newly bought, $3k couch. When it was brought to their attention, they denied that it was them. The following day after the move, we were finally able to start unpacking further and move boxes around. After moving enough of the boxes to where they need to be, we noticed that another one of our large furniture pieces was completely broken. We called the company to let them know and they, again, tried to put the blame on us. The manager continuously said that it "must have already been broken" and wouldn't accept any other answer. She continued to also question "how it took us so long to realize it was broken".... it was less than 24 hours! They are still refusing to take accountability on anything and have been nothing but difficult. Movers are horrible and management is even worse. read more

Aside from being friendly and likable guys, I was pleasantly surprised at how much they hustled. You would've thought they got paid to finish early! read more

I would start by saying if you have heavy stuff that need to be moved , this are the guys to call. i had a 500 lbs. cabinet really heavy and this 2 guys carried like it was nothing for them. Strongest guys around (Walter and Kiril). read more

If I could, they would get more than 5 stars!! We booked Nextgen Moving the day before we needed movers and their team was very responsive and easy to book. They arrived on time with all materials needed even blankets and wrapping materials. They moved our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom very efficiently and were very helpful! They took great care of all of our pieces and protected all items that needed blankets. All our furniture they moved is still in great condition. They even moved our pieces into specific rooms as they brought items into our new home. They were kind and very helpful from start to finish! Could not have enough great things to say about this moving company!! Highly recommend!! Thank you Nextgen!! read more

I had Walter help me move on 4/30 and everything went great. I specifically requested a smaller 20ft truck to fit the driveway of my new place and they were able to accommodate. Walter gave me a call when he was ~20 min away, showed up exactly on time and finished right on time as well. The two man crew was experienced and efficient. Overall a great experience and highly recommended! read more

Great movers. They lived our 1br apt to a new home locally. Easy to communicate with, timely, and fair pricing. Would use again!

Wow. I literally don't know how to explain how amazing these guys were. Keith and max were so quick and just absolutely amazing. They asked me where everything needed to be and said okay from now on don't worry, don't lift a finger. They got everything moved in up the multiple stairs in an hour and a half. Highly recommend. Would never ask anyone else. The greatest moving experience I ever had. read more

Ismail and Hamza were very nice, on time, and accommodating to our needs. Parking is hard in L.A. and we made it work over the several locations we had for pick-up/drop-off. They were extremely careful with our furniture as well, and honestly quite fast, too. Considering that the price of the service itself was quite good compared to other movers, I would absolutely recommend NextGen! read more

I use this company a month ago I called them about a week after my move to discuss my dryer that have been damaged I was told that I signed a contract and that they only could cover $100 of my thousand dollar dryer so if you have anything expensive I would not suggest using this company highly disappointed nobody's got back to me about anything higher than $100 I wish I would've never use this company it was $600 for the move they could've at lease reimburse me for the move. read more

Recently used Nextgen for moving. Their guys were very nice and helpful with added tasks. I will say if you want the move to go quicker, pre-wrap your things beforehand. Any hiccups we encountered, our contact Anna readily assisted! read more

It is my duty to leave a review about my terrible experience w. Nextgen. Customer beware! If your valuables are important to you, please do not use this company! I hired them to move from San Diego to Arizona. I thought having the owner move my things was a good thing, but the move was was a nightmare! The owner was on his phone throughout the move and because of this, he was careless and all my 4 large 6 ft mirrors and picture frames weren't wrapped and all came tumbling down as they exit the elevator. My heart beated with fear and dissappointment as I assisted them throughout my move. I told him to wrap and he didn't listen and was so careless. the move was already a stressful situation and then to experience this I couldn't hold back my tears as I saw broken glasses and dented frame mirrors all over the floor. They not only broke my valuables, but the slow pace cause me an extra night I had to pay for a hotel. The damage and experience with Nextgen exceeds the cost 3x of what I paid their service. They have no insurance coverage and no sense of compassion of the terrible service they provided me. I paid them so I can receive my things and end the nightmare! Please, please do not use this company! My only recourse is to write this review and contact yelp. read more

NextGen moving was amazing. I called to unload all of my belongings from storage and they showed up on a short timeframe and moved it all into my new property. They were extremely responsive and professional. I have moved 5 times in 5 years with the military and they are at the top of my list as best movers we have hired. read more

Had a great experience and highly recommend Nextgen moving. Received a prompt response to my request and the cost was in line with the quote. Ken and Askar were the movers and they were both super friendly and accommodating. Hopefully I'm not going to move again soon, but if I do I will definitely use Nextgen again. read more

Walter and his brother were great to work with. They communicated well, they were on time and ready to work during the time given. They both worked quickly and got things done efficiently. All of my belongings were left in good condition, they helped with placement of heavy items without giving me a hard time and were transparent with pricing. I recommend! read more

The moving crew work is awesome. I have 2 units apartment but everything is cleaned out under 30 minutes. Yes under 30 minutes. I have a few things that need to be wrapped and boxed but I don't have any extra boxes. They helped me with all of them without charge. The rate is unbeatable as well. I was looking around and other places charge more than $109 an hour. You can ask them for the quote but I am sure it will the cheapest price you can find. Highly recommend. Thank you Keith and your hardworking moving crew!!! read more

We're not usually ones to hire movers, but this move happened so spur of the moment we didn't have time to guilt friends and family to help out. Went with Nextgen/EZ Moving on a whim and were so pleasantly surprised--Beket and Shamil showed up & now they are our friends and family. Super casual dynamic, extremely communicative, efficient, and down to tackle anything. The exiting of our 8-foot-long couch through a seemingly 3ft-doorway and stairwell opening (the entering of which I'd repressed from my memory like childbirth) seemed an impossible feat, but Beket & Shamil refused to give up! I'm sitting on it now in my new apt as I type this. Beket & Shamil were extremely sensitive to our time (and cash) limit, and did their best to stick within the parameters while still taking care to not destroy anything along the way. They packaged all of our vintage furniture with TLC and managed to move delicately and gracefully like ballet dancers through our complex's impossibly quiet courtyard packed with various porcelain figurines, fountains, death traps, and hostile jurassic greenery. Super happy with how things turned out! They made a sporadic move feel comforting and fun. read more

The best moving experience I've ever had! They showed up on time and ready to work. They worked into the night and did a fantastic job keeping all my stuff from breaking. A problem I've had with other companies is getting people who weren't strong enough to move the heavier objects. This was NOT an issue for these three. Ismail ran the show and Hamza, Shamil knocked everything out that he had for them. Hopefully I don't have move any time soon, but if I do, I'll definitely use this company. read more

Next Gen Moving provided a great moving experience! I have moved about 8 times in the last 8 years, and it never gets easier. That's why finding quality movers was so important to me. These guys were super communicative, flexible, and friendly! I had called morning of to see if they had mattress bags but they didn't have any at that time, so they offered to stop and purchase some on their way. These guys were super careful with our belongings and made sure to put everything exactly where I wanted. At the end of the move, they even took a few minutes to play fetch with my dog, which made her whole day! Thanks Next Gen! read more

I found Nextgen on Yelp, and I thought they offered a great rate to help me moved my furniture and belongings in. I had to unload two PODs that were parked outside my home. We unloaded them quickly, and they helped me assemble beds and a few pieces of furniture. They were quick, gentle with my belongings, and did a great job. I would definitely hire them again. I worked with Ivan (point guy), Oleg, and Shamil. Thank you for your help. read more

Worked with Mike and 3 other movers on each side (loading and unloading) for a long distance move to a different state and they were all truly WONDERFUL! First, the pricing was so competitive, it was way cheaper than any other moving companies I called. This was my second time using this company so they offered me a discount for being a loyal customer, which was GREAT. In addition, they were super prepared with all the packing materials we might need and made sure all of the other movers were very careful with our things. Mike even asked the movers to take their shoes off when stepping on our rugs (we're Asian so we don't like shoes on our indoor stuff!). All the movers were super friendly, kind, professional, and efficient. Honestly, probably the best moving experience I've had! Truly the price was so so reasonable for the level of care, having our own full truck to ourselves, getting our things to the next place within a day, and having full service. If we ever move again, we'll definitely use this company again. read more

After confirming my appointment, they canceled on me after I made flight and travel arrangements. I would not recommend this company - this is not how a professional business treat customers. Now I'm scrambling to get new movers for such an important move - thanks for the extra stress. Don't hire these guys! read more
