We were really nervous hiring a moving company because we had a long-distance move (just over 200 miles) but also had a relatively small load. All the other moving companies we contacted were much more expensive with delivery ranging from 2 days to even 3 weeks. We were able to secure a same day delivery and everything was seamless! I can't say enough good things about this company! We had a cross country move and were very nervous but Kate did a great job communicating with me which made me feel at ease! Don't look at them as a new company as they are very professional and did a great job helping me load my things to the trailer. I would have done my review earlier but I wanted to compare the movers here that helped me unload. It was night and day as Nextgen did a far superior job for us. The company that helped me unload was not very good and did not take care of my things like Walter and his team did for us loading the truck in California. I wished Kate would have a team here in Kansas and the movers here sure can learn a thing or two from Nextgen on how to properly unload my things. Support your local business everyone! I hired Nextgen just for 2x movers to help pack a trailer that I was shipping - they arrived on time and alerted me via a call when they were 20 min away. These two guys were the best movers I have had in LA. I have moved 3x in the past 4 years, and Nextgen was the best, most reliable and transparent of them all. What a relief. I just used these guys yesterday to move some stuff from storage in Pomona to our place in San Diego. I was able to book them with just one week's notice. Walter was easy to communicate with by phone and email. Two guys showed up on time, Max and Keith. They were professional and quick. They loaded everything up in 30 mins and we were on our way. When I tried to help move a couple things, they politely took over for me to make sure I didn't get "dirty". When we arrived at our San Diego condo, they bought everything up the elevator quickly and out everything in the right places without damaging anything or the building. Their pricing was fair with no extra hidden fuel fees or mileage fees. I would use them again for future moving needs without hesitation. I was originally a little concerned due to the fact that this is a new company with few Yelp reviews, however my experience was far better than our recent experience with another larger company with hundreds of positive Yelp reviews. BTW, it seems like Yelp is hiding a lot of their reviews as not recommend. Not sure why, but it's worth reading them as well since they seem legit to me and are mostly positive. They wrapped everything carefully to prevent scratches and took apart larger furniture for a smoother move. They out everything back. Kate and her team were fantastic from beginning to end. Any time I messaged Kate on Yelp, she was quick to respond and made sure to address everything I needed in a timely manner. She was accommodating to help me change our move date twice. On our actual move day, Walter and Ahmad arrived early at 7:50 am, they were scheduled for 8 am. They got to work right away, quick and efficient, and didn't play around. The whole move was over in 7 hours, considering we had a drive time of little over one hour alone.
