We stopped here for lunch on our way through Ohio, drawn in by the solid 5-star Yelp rating. Didn't disappoint. No problems getting here from I-70 and finding parking. We had the Dijon Pecan salad and Chatty Kathy sandwich. Both were excellent. Very flavorful and no cheap ingredients: good bread for the sandwich and quality lettuce/greens for the salad. The meatloaf sandwiches are clearly the headliners here. Unfortunately, we were in the mood for lighter food. But given how good the "filler" items are on the menu, I will definately be back for some meatloaf sandwiches the next time I find myself in Columbus. Just stopped in today for the meatloaf and mashed potatoes and gravy. All I can say is WOW! So good! Our usual go to is the meatloaf Reuben, which is also incredible! One of my co-workers always thanks me for suggesting it, he says it's the best sandwich he's had in his life. That's a pretty strong statement, but I have to agree. My husband is still raving about the takeout order we got from here last week. We don't go over to the Bexley area that often but since he was nearby I suggested he swing through this little spot next to Drexel Theater. So glad he did! We split the Fang meatloaf sandwich, potato salad, chips, and the Tuna Nicoise salad. Everything was so good. The sandwich was a little rich for me but really delicious. I was very glad we ended up splitting a sandwich and salad instead of 2 sandwiches just to keep the meal from feeling too heavy (though don't think this is health food by any means!). The meatloaf was very moist and kinda felt like a lighter, fluffier version of a hamburger. If you're looking for ketchup-y meatloaf, this isn't it, but it was great as a sandwich and went well with the other toppings. The Tuna Nicoise was put together well and I loved that the green beans were pickled. I also really liked that they used tuna salad instead of plain flaked tuna. It tasted great and I could opt out of using too much dressing (which was quite oily and tasted just okay to me). The dill pickle potato salad was SO good. I loved all the fresh dill. My husband even commented on how many 'fun' chip flavors they offered in the store. Ordering over the phone was easy and everything was ready in about 10 minutes. Yum! A great lunch spot in Bexley. I used to come to the crepe place C'est Si Bon Cafe in this spot and was bummed when they left. The space sure didn't stay empty for long. I came in on my lunch break on a Thursday and ordered a craft soda and The Fang sandwich. I love meatloaf and was excited to try it on a burger. Plus, I wanted to get the signature dish. All the staff was friendly and helpful. My burger was delicious. It was dripping with juicy goodness. The atmosphere inside is cozy and comforting. This was a fun local find. Epic sandwiches and fun choices of soda. Both sandwiches were packed and didn't disappoint. The chip selection is fun and the bbq was nice and different. The southwestern meatloaf sandwich is a favorite and you have to get the dill pickle potato salad and the pimento cheese dip. Look at the pictures...yes, it really is that big! But it won't last long because it really is that delicious. I love a meatloaf sandwich and this one didn't disappoint. The American cheese is first rate- not the plastic stuff. The press it in an egg washed bun the kicks it up another notch. My husband and I were looking for somewhere to grab a bite after visiting Franklin Park Conservatory. Opened the Yelp app and found the above establishment. A pleasant surprise. This is nice little sandwich shop. Our sandwiches were assembled neatly and just the right amount of condiments. I ordered the Chatty Kathy, chicken salad was tasty. I asked for wheat bread, not a problem. The sandwich was assembled neatly, great mingling of flavors. Love that there was not too much honey mustard. I stopped here after visiting the Franklin Park Arboretum in Columbus. I was visiting from Cincinnati and looking for a good spot for a quick lunch. I didn't know I'd find such a fantastic sandwich in Bexley. I had the Fang meatloaf sandwich--one of the best gustatory experiences of my life. Let me start by saying up until a few weeks ago, i hated meatloaf. since then, my opinion has changed solely from this restaurant. i got just the plain sandwich with the fang sauce, and a cheerwine to drink. and wow is the meatloaf fantastic. the fang sauce compliments it really well, too. and if you order a drink to go, they wrap it in aluminum foil, and then a paper towel so it doesn't get your bag wet. super nice little place and is now one of my favorites in Columbus! read more

As a vegetarian, it's hard to find new dishes that still excite, but the Bella Donna and the Barnyard Caviar (without bacon) from Newfangled are unbelievably flavorful and delicious! I'm obsessed. It's got bite, but is not too spicy. They have a hotter one too. Their salads are really good as well. We like the tuna salad. Their sides are as good as they come with my two faves are Cole slaw and potato salad. I kid you not the perfect balance of exquisite meat loaf with shredded lettuce, FANG sauce, PERFECT tomato no matter what the season and cheese on a bun that is better than most bread. I had my reservations toward a meatloaf restaurant but they have genuinely outdone themselves with the Bella Donna (portabella mushroom sandwich). I cannot wait to go back and try the tuna sandwich. I'm still drooling from last nights "lunch for dinner" tuna melt. I am SO happy to have a new deli in Bexley so we have another option for my sandwich loving hubby. Okay, okay... It was bright and clean and smelled of yummy deli meat and toasted bread when I walked in. I believe the owner was there cleaning tables while I was waiting for my carry out order. She was very friendly and greeted people walking in the door like family. My wait was not long and our dinner was so yummy! I, as mentioned above, ordered the "Shipyard Tuna Melt" and my husband went for the "Chatty Cathy", which is just fun to say! His was a chicken salad with bacon and it looked delicious. Mine was and I'm already craving it again. I think the pickles and Dijon were a nice touch! Gave it another flavor profile than what you're typically used to in a tuna melt. My hubby,frIend, and I went here for lunch on Saturday,January 25,2020 after watching my nephew's basketball game. My husband had the portabello sandwich, my friend the meatloaf with pimento cheese, and I had the Tuna Sandwich. They all had cute names that I can't remember, but they were all great sandwiches! They were fresh and huge! We also sampled some kettle chips and the dill pickle potato salad which were both delicious as well. Service was friendly and fast. It's very small and people were ordering and taking out.We were very pleased with our choice for lunch thanks to other Yelp reviewers!
