Mostly everything is well executed here. Their cheesecakes are smooth, velvety, and silky along with tasty as well. They've got the perfect combination of mix and flavor profiles for their cheesecake base that doesn't make their cheesecakes to thick or dense like a brick like the Cheesecake Girls cheesecakes. Don't get me wrong CG cakes are good but so dense that you could jack up a car with it and change your tires. Bearded Baker is lighter and fluffier than them. In addition I believe they have a more extensive selection than CG. The only problem with this place is their Chocolate Chip cookie. I don't know what happened with the batch they sold but the one I had tasted too EGGY like it wasn't mixed well or properly. Give em a go if you're in the area. read more

The Bearded Baker had a line waiting to order so that is the first place that I wanted to try. I ordered the Pineapple Upside Down cake with cheesecake filling. It was absolutely delicious! I've heard of The Bearded Baker, so I decided to try them out; after all, if you know me, you know I have a sweet tooth, indeed. Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookies. They looked soft and gooey, thus I thought that'd be a great taste test (crisp and crunchy, then they're an automatic no-go in my book). Glad to report the cookies are soft and gooey. Not bad at all. I love the sea salt chucks sprinkled on top. If I'm in the area, and in the mood for a sweet treat, I'd happily stop in here. I can't help but wonder what their orangesicle cheesecake tastes like. OMG! If you love cheesecake and cute desserts this is the place for you! I got the keylime and banana cream mini cheesecakes! It was $8 for 2! There were so many different flavors to choose from it was so hard to not buy it all! Personally I didn't like the texture of the banana one but it still tasted delicious! Next time I think I wanna try the pistachio cheesecake slice they had! The slices are so big, you could definitely get 2-3 servings out of one slice! The staff were so kind! I got the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cheesecake and it taste incredible. The strawberry based cheesecake with the chocolate cake layer in the middle and the chocolate crust. He shared with me that The Bearded Baker started with gourmet cheesecakes and is evolving to include other delicious treats including mini cheesecakes, cookies, and soon to be released cream cheese cinnamon rolls!
