I ordered a cake for new year's eve for my friend's birthday. I ordered over the phone several days before for pickup. They only serve whipped icing cakes and do not offer buttercream. This is fine for me, as I prefer that. I got the 8 inch oreo flavor for $40. Everyone enjoyed the cake as it was not overly sweet. They were very busy during pickup and there was a big line. Only two people at the counter, so took time to get the cake. Below is the breakdown of my rating: Cake: 5 stars, layered chocolate cake with oreo flavored whipped cream in between Customer Service: 2 stars, not a single smile to be displayed, very business transaction-like experience, customers were the ones to first say thank you, no greeting, no Happy New Year, it felt like the staff is not happy to be there Price: 2.5 stars, for it not being any kind of custom cake, thought it was a bit expensive for an 8 inch Not sure if I will be back. read more

They've got a lot of delicious treats here! It's small but seems to be popular in the area. I tried their strawberry cake some weeks ago when someone brought it to a bday party. They described their cakes as similar to Belle's, very light and not super sweet. I really liked it! So I came with my mom and sister to check out what they had. We got a mocha cake and dark chocolate one along with a slice of the strawberry. We also got a few shortbread cookies. Delicious! Prices aren't bad at all. It shares the same parking lot as Trader Joe's but it wasn't bad finding a nearby parking spot. Again, none of their stuff is overly sweet which is how I like it! Seems many others love it too. I want to preface this by saying we have been customers of Yummy for several years. We have several family members who have used them for many different occasions unfortunately the last time we ordered will be the final time they get any of our money. I ordered a cake for my sons 10th birthday, he looked through THEIR books for a cake and decided on a pikachu cake. It was insanely expensive but I know that time is money and their cakes do taste very good so I paid it. At pick up they were very busy. So I had waited in line about 15 minutes for the cake, no big deal. I just grabbed the cake and left. When I got back home to set the cake up I was pretty disappointed in the way the cake was put together. Now, if this had been a different price point it would have been different but it's not acceptable looking for what I paid. I tried to call them but they had closed for the day. So I left a message. No response. I figured emailing them would be better because it was a Saturday and they are closed both Sunday and Monday. Still never got a response, called again on Wednesday and was told I would get a returned phone call. Nothing. Ever. Not very good customer service Maybe I'm being a Karen but I don't think this is an $187 cake. And even if it is a call back with a quick "hey sorry!" Would have sufficed. read more

My friend's surprised me we with cake from here years ago and I've been and I've been a fan ever since.year after year they get me amazing cakes from here. My favorites are Black Forest and chocolate ganache. I also am a fan of the white cake with strawberries. This place is amazing and they always come through with our concepts. Stopped in one day while I was in the area. They have some fantastic looking cakes. There are several cakes for sale right in the shop and then options to custom order. There are also some smaller cake roll, ganache squares, and other baked goods for sale. I may be going back to buy a birthday cake for one of my many family member's birthdays one day. read more

It's located in the same strip plaza as Trader Joe's. The lady that owned the bakery and does all the baking was running the front of house. Pleasant gal. I tried her homemade Strawberry Cake and the Mocha Roll. Both were excellent! Fluffy Cool Whipish icing, the slices were light, sweet and refreshing. Best in business. So far this is the best bakery in town for fresh cream cakes. They are so good with the designs and flavors they offer. Fresh fruit with Strawberry is their hot selling item. My personal favorite is Mocha. Other flavors available are Vanilla, Pineapple, Black Forest, Napoleon from their long list of cakes. They also have pastries, cookies with different flavors. Very professional and always deliver on time. We hv been a regular for last 7-8 years and the taste and quality of cake is consistent. Most of the time you will see Majid taking the orders. My husband ordered my birthday cake from this bakery! It was so amazing!! It was so beautiful - I almost didn't want to eat it haha. People say sometimes these fancy cakes aren't tasty but I can definitely say that the cake itself was so good too! The cake portion was moist and chocolate goodness! The whipped topping was so light and didn't feel heavy. Needed a cake for my bosses birthday last minute of course. I wanted something nicer than the cakes at Kroger and would much rather support a smaller business. Showed up 15 minutes before close and snagged myself a premade cake. It looked great! And they even sold candles! Perfect! Well, it just gets better.... the cake tasted so fresh and delicious. YUMMY bakery? Really? They should be called YUCKY bakery, but then I guess noone would fall for it like I did. Next to Trader Joe's, I am not one to resist a bakery if I see one. I think the cookies are persian, certainly nothing my taste buds have ever experienced. Everything had a flavor of an old arab sheikh parfumed bathwater (or what I imagine this to taste like) and I was actually scared to sample the rest. Being brave I did but wound spitting them all out and having the worst taste in my mouth all day. I'm glad I just got one of each cookie, but this really was THE WORST food I have ever had! read more

Wow! We are trying out several bakeries for a cake for my husband's 50th birthday. We stopped by Yummy's and purchased several cake slices. Wow! They were all amazing. Each cake was incredibly moist and soft. The frostings were so light and fresh. We also purchased some cookies, but haven't tried them yet. The service was great! Our hostess answered our questions and described each selection. They really take their time with their customers. Stopped in before heading to Trader Joe's to appease my sweet tooth after lunch at The Pint Room down the street. Once inside you'll find two cases: cookies on the left, whole cakes and slices of those cakes on the right. The slices were labeled but the cookies were not--wish they were. I think the employee was tired of me asking what each one was. We got two "crescent moon cookies" and they didn't have that homemade almond flavor I'm used to. Yet, who says they were the same cookies. Concerning cake, got a slice of the Mocha, Napoleon and Black Forest. Everything was good, but not great. The creme fillings were nice and light and had that taste of quality creme. The Black Forest had a nice balance of chocolate and cherry. I think this Dublin bakery is worth a try but not a destination. The only reason I'd return would be to try some more cookies. read more

This is the worst place I have ever shopped in my whole life. The store owner is mean and nasty. Will never buy anything from this bakery. I called the store this morning and was assured they had the cake I wanted for my son's graduation party (they don't take orders), and stopped by 30 minutes later. When I arrived, I am the only customer in the store. It took a long while from the store owner to find the cake. I asked him if he could write congratulations on the cake, he refused, saying he was busy and had no time to write words. But I was the only customer there! People order cakes for celebratory occasions. What kind of bakery refuses to meet customers reasonable request? This is definitely not a good place to buy cakes. It will ruin your mood!!! I disagree with the previous reviewer. Yes its an international bakary and the different flavor is what you get when you try cookies that are supposed to be different. I think they use cardamon in their cookies which is a spice used in Persian (and also German) pastries. Anyways, I'm reviewing their cakes not the cookies. I bought the chocolate-mocha cake roll for a party and it was fantastic. Everybody liked it. It was light, and very fresh. They had it also in slices for 1.99, so you could get a taste before you commit to the bigger roll. All together, good cake and I'll be back. read more

I've been here 3 times now this past year and each time has been a new experience and definitely YUMMY! In regards to the comment about their hours, each time I have gone it is the same lady by herself so maybe she was busy baking! I usually stop by after work and they are open until 6 pm so I've never had an issue. The first time I tried their versions of Persian "zaban" cookie/pastry. It's hard to describe, but it has numerous wafer-life layers with a lightly toasted/crunchy top. They had a plain one with a sugar granules on the top and one with nuts and honey. Both were wonderful. I wouldn't say they were truly authentic because I have had zaban from Iran, but this is comparably good. The second time I went in was during the month of ramadan and tried Persian "bamiyeh" and "zoolbia". Again these are hard to describe, but bamiyeh is like a tiny fried donut and you eat it with zoolbia which is twisted up like a funnel cake but the texture is different--fried crunchy but when you bite into it it kind of melts in your mouth. These typically have saffron and rosewater and I could taste it; very authentic. They were wonderful. I'm looking forward to ramadan again next year to get some more! The third time I stopped by on a whim to get a last minute cake for my boyfriend. The same lady greeted me and politely described each flavor of cake in her glass case on display. I heard mocha, chocolate ganache, napoleon, and black forest. It was hard to choose but I picked the black forest based on my boyfriend's taste preferences. I took it home and he could not stop ranting and raving on how nice the cake looked and how it tasted amazing. There were 3 layers of chocolate cake and in between there were rich whipped cream layers of equal size. It hit the right balance of light and rich. The chocolate shavings were tasty and an elegant touch. We would get bites of cherries as we ate the chocolate cake and whipped cream. I think I will try the napoleon or chocolate ganache for the boyfriend's birthday in a month. Some suggestions I have would be to update their website. A better detailed menu of their cakes and pastries with photos and when each is offered if they are seasonal. Perhaps even an online ordering system or online ordering form for convenience. And maybe make it known that this is a Persian bakery! So folks that are wanting some Cheryl Cookies should go elsewhere. read more

I agree with the other reviewer: I got three "crescent moon cookies" and they didn't have that homemade almond flavor I'm used to. This place is a gem! The inside of the store is small and simple, but the cake is out of this world. Black Forest, strawberry, mocha- all wonderful, but the star is the chocolate ganache cake. The cake is light and moist, there is a heavenly whipped layer of goodness, then the ganache is smooth and rich. I am not a big fan of chocolate cake- this, however, is something much more wonderful than the chocolate cakes I've tried in the past. Where was this place when I was growing up!?
