My family has been a long time customer of Nanak's as we prefer our cakes to be eggless. It's very hard to find a bakery that can make eggless cakes that are moist and taste good. As such I chose Nanak to do my 3-tier wedding cake in July 2023. I showed a picture of what I wanted and the cake came out exactly the same if not better! But most importantly it tasted delicious as well! I also ordered a half cake sheet with a different flavor and a few vegan cupcakes. Everyone loved the cakes! Highly recommend Nanak for any of your events! The tiered cake was strawberry flavor (with fresh strawberries) and half sheet was chocolate.

This bakery is a hidden gem on this side of Westerville. The sad thing is that since they cannot find enough help, the a la carte menu has disappeared. They are only making cakes to order at this point. When I was able to get 2 pastries, they were heavenly and affordable. I am eagerly awaiting a time when they will re-open with a full menu again.

Nanak Bakery is one of the best. It's independent and locally owned. Many varieties of cakes and desserts can be created according to special diet restrictions. It can make cakes without eggs. They also have a few other sweet things. I tried some of the baklava. Several of these are a couple of bucks. They make some with no dairy and eggs. It's one of the rare bakeries with vegan baklava. There's not many ready to go items that are made without eggs, so you need to call ahead if you want a cake or anything pretty big like that. According to sources they have moved around a bit. It used to be on Bethel near many other Indian businesses and restaurants. They are currently located in Westerville.

I'm here during business hours. Their sign says that they're supposed to be open. Their website says they're supposed to be open. Looks out of business.

Stopped in to see what they had today. Decided on the Chocolate Moca and the Black Forest cake. Chocolate Moca- Nice smooth fillings used with a slight taste of coffee in it. The Black Forest is simply chocolate. Both have amazing frosting that is so smooth and to die for. The small pieces shown are $2.50 a piece. You won't find anything close to this for the price. Yummy!!!

This place is my go to for eggless cakes! Amazing taste and you wouldn't know it's eggless. Beautiful designs so what's not to love? I recently ordered 2 cakes for my mom's 80th and they hit it out of the ball park. The guests kept asking me where we got the cakes from and my mom loved the taste of both. I picked a sheet cake in pistachio cream to be served en mass and a "80" number shaped cakes in chocolate and decorated with pink and gold decor with fresh fruit for my parents to formally do a "cake cutting". These cakes are not your typical overloaded with sugar and just the right delicate level of sweetness similar to European pastries. I don't live in the Columbus area and still make the drive for these cakes.

Good selection, especially being 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon (they close @ 4). I figured I'd be picking from meager after-thoughts. Happily, not the case! Small square "cakes", each $2.49: Pistachio, Fruit Custard, Chocolate Almond, Napoleon and Tiramisu. Pistachio was my least favorite. I couldn't taste the pistachio, it was more like a vanilla cake. On the dryer side, compared to the others. The Napoleon was good, the fluffy filling between the thin pastry layers brought it all together. Tiramisu was my fav (duh!). Creamy. Smooth espresso taste, not overwhelming. Very good. The owner also makes a wide selection of cookies/baklava, and finger pastries. I did not try these, but several looked good. Seemed perfect for Used my $20-for-$10 Groupon, because I wasn't sure what I'd be tasting. After tasting Some of Nanak's offerings, I'm more than happy to support this Iranian family run business, no coupon necessary!

My go to place for cakes! The cakes are very moist and delicious at a reasonable price. Great customer service. I've recommended Nanak to everyone and they never disappoint. Highly recommend this bakery!!

This is a spacious bakery with tables and encouraged eating. They do a whole lot of special event cakes. It seems they do a great business with children's birthday cakes. I didn't go for that, but there is a large book by the front door with sample cake designs. The children there were thrilled about the possibility of having an ice cream cone shaped cake or their favorite animal. They had a bunch of cartoon spray prints, but I wouldn't even know where to begin. I bought some baklava. They have two varieties: pecan and almond. I got the almond, one piece is $0.99. It was good, not as wonderful as a fresh baked, still warm piece. But it certainly had adequate amount of honey. I prefer slightly larger pieces of nuts, and a bit more filling. They had more honey and phyllo than the spicy fill. For a special order cake, stop in to see the selection...and grab a ready made pastry or cookie on your way out.

The prices here are way more reasonable than a DQ or a Baskin-Robbins. An order of two large-cone (large cones are 99¢, small cones 50¢. *prices subject to change(?)) single scoop ice cream's came up to approximately $10 and change. It is a nice place to bring kids. There are video games and an air hockey table. There are tables to sit at indoors to be able to relax and enjoy the ice-cream before it melts. It was over 90° out today, and there was no way the ice-cream would've made it to the car. The strawberries and cream I got was soo refreshing! My cohort with me got the caramel ice cream which had a caramel swirl. I tasted a bit of hers and it had a coconut-like base flavor to it that reminded me of a mild flavored egg nog and very much like kahlúa in the base. I am not a fan of caramel but I am very much a fan of kahlúa, therefore a fan of the caramel flavored icecream. The counter staffer states they make the icecream in-house. It would explain the partially melted look to the tops of some of the ice cream. Homemade ice-cream when I was a child always had the same melty texture. The staff member was so patient with us as it was our first time there and the menu along with the total amount of ice-cream flavors was a slight bit more intimidating than expected for our choices. The customers were able to order in English or Spanish which I thought was awesome seeing as my neighborhood can benefit from going here and not being intimidated by using a language that is uncomfortable for them. It was a lot of younger families and teens but it wasn't a rowdy atmosphere. I'm not into rowdy. If you are in the neighborhood, feeling like you want a walking taco, ice cream, sundae, funnel cakes, churro's, or just a cold bottled drink definitely stop in. Most definitely stop in before visiting DQ and save some cash. I highly enjoyed and recommend this spot as I will be back again soon.

Somehow had never reviewed them. In an industrial-park type strip mall, off Maxtown. Nice and open inside, super friendly and helpful staff, plenty of pies on display. Fruit pies, cream pies, and my goal for the day: pot pies. I'd never had theirs, and with cold weather they sounded good. I got a standard chicken (they also have white meat, and chicken with broccoli) and beef. Other options were beef/broccoli/mushroom, I think, and one or two more. They come in small, medium, and large. Small is about what you would get at a grocery. Of course I couldn't resist the sweet pies, but I only got one small one, a win for my health. Coconut cream, for Kid K; I ended up eating half of it, but she loved it too. Pot pies: I got mediums, about 2 servings worth. Very tasty. Sturdy but flaky crust, packed with meat and potatoes and veggies. All pies are in very sturdy boxes. I almost saved one to reuse around the house, they're that good. Definitely will be back. A bit out of my way, and I miss their other locations which were a little more handy for me, but these are worth the detour.
