I got the veggie empanadas (corn, spinach, Lima beans...) and my partner got the chicken.

If you were wondering what the "more" in cakes and more is, it's empanadas! My partner loves these and I've been wanting to try for a while. I got the veggie and he got the chicken. We also got a side of their Chipotle sauce. Really delicious and filling comfort food. Their empanadas are thick, fried, and flaky. They came out super quick and everyone that works at the restaurant was so kind and friendly (and wearing masks ). Their baked desserts also looked delicious and beautifully decorated. A perfect lunch for a chilly day. I hope more people discover their empanadas!

Damn! Getting to Cakes and More at 2:30p on a Saturday afternoon was a big mistake. So much stuff was gone, dang it! Note to self: Come bright eyed and bushy tailed, for Saturday's; otherwise weekday mornings are good too. From what was left, I got one of their handmade beef empanadas. From reviews and pictures, these little beef hand pies looked stuffed full with meat. Amazing!! The pastry filling was everything but dry, and tasteless. One of the best empanada casings I've had. And the beef and veggies filling was freakishly awesome! The seasoning was so pronounced and bursting with gusto. Im officially sad I only bought one of these. And, come on, let's be real! You think I'm gonna pass up getting a piece of their Tiramisu (my guilty pleasure)? Nonsensical argument. It was delish! A subtle amount of espresso - enough to taste, not gag. Dreamy sweet flavor from the mascarpone creme layers. Every bit worth the $5 price. I'm absolutely, positively coming back. In the morning. On a slow day. So I can buy up all the empanadas and tiramisu, take them home, and gobble them up in a rage of guilty pleasure.

Right next to Target on High Street I noticed the cake sign and knew I had to stop by and see what they had. A great variety of goods in a small store for a fair price. They had cookies from 20-50 cent a piece so I got a few and they were exotic and different but tasty nonetheless. Cupcakes cheap at $1.25 a piece and decent but not earth shattering. The eclaire was good, but still noone can touch the anrgy baker it that department. The pecan bun fresh and tasty, also nt the best I have had. They had beautiful cakes ( passionfruit/guava anyone?) and french pastries but I just wanted a small sample of the goods and they did well. The owners are nice, the food is fresh, a nice bakery and worth a try.

Cakes and More did a great job on a custom cake for my husbands 30th birthday! They were reasonably priced and took a picture of what i found online and recreated it! I had a chocolate cake with strawberry filling. Everyone at the party raved about the flavor and how neat the cake was! Thank you!

This is my second trip to this bakery and it's definitely worth a visit. We purchased some cupcakes (which are kept in the back), a Napoleon and some chajas, which the owner said are popular in her home country. Now that we've tried them, I see why! They're not pictured because they didn't last the trip home! The prices are quite reasonable, everything is fresh and the service is friendly. We'll be back because there is more I want to try.

This is a relatively new bakery that sits next to Pita Hut & Grill (not Target). It's a pretty small store with just two cases for baked goods. After reading Nijole's review, I knew I had to try it. It's the closest bakery to my home. I bought a piece of cake and a danish to eat now. I'm saving the cake until after dinner tonight. I met the owner of the shop and he's a nice guy. I'm sure I'll be a regular customer.

My daughter LOVED her Spidey & Friends birthday cake! Not only did it look amazing but was so delicious!

Cakes & More is the best in Columbus!! My daughters birthday cake looked amazing and tasted so delicious!!

I've been meaning to stop in here to try the empanadas. Now that I have, I am so upset I didn't come here sooner! These are the best empanadas I have had since my travels in South America. The dough is perfectly crisp and not oily at all. Not to mention the sauces on the side are both delicious. I got the tiramisu and cheesecake as well, both were incredible. The owners were so friendly and helpful. Stop by and try this place, you won't regret it.

Moved up the road from this place and went in today to try the beef empanadas..... they are so good!!!! I can't wait to try the chicken ones

Empanadas are amazing!!!!!! went back for more. And the tiramisu was so delicious!!! I am glad I live right down the road from this place.... they will be getting my business quite often.

Wow! This place is a hidden treasure! I almost don't want to tell you all about it....so I can keep it all to myself! I tried the chicken and the beef empanadas....like the chicken better. Their signature sandwich is one of the best I've ever had!

Say no more! They also whipped up a linzer cookie for me. While it is not exactly the traditional Austrian version made with hazelnut and currant, it was yummy with almond and raspberry instead (the more Americanized version, as I see this combination often). The staff was very friendly and service was quick. I requested a fork to take with me in case I get tempted in the car (hey, I know myself!) The venue is also an event space and it looks cute in there. There was even a Mozart mannequin at the piano. I didn't get a photo because I didn't want to invade the privacy of people dining-in, but that was a nice touch. Cool place.

Parking was easy - they have two small lots, as well as street parking. The open layout of the room was perfect for the amount of guests. The bakery case was full of beautiful European style treats, which gives me a good reason to return. They offer a limited cafe menu of breakfast items, sandwiches, and quiches on Thurs-Sat only. They also do afternoon tea service, by reservation only, on some limited weekdays. It is a popular venue for hosting local/special events and I can see why.

I especially enjoyed the illusion of privacy offered by the dividing screens at the traditional seating area. I am apt to take off my shoes in public regardless of the occassion, but the sunken tables allowed me to unleash the dawgs in a more socially acceptable manner. Note that Tea Zone no longer offers as wide a variety of savory foods. In fact, they only serve ramen. But their bakery section is still robust! I'm not honestly the biggest fan of most fruit cakes but I had an uncontrollable craving. As far as store-bought fruit cakes go, it was not bad. As always, I wish the cake part had more depth of flavor than just ~vanilla~, but as a whole, the cake was quite soft and generously topped with an assortment of fruit! The servers were very sweet (haha) and offered to make my iced matcha latte unsweetened but I was like, no, I need the high. Because I sure as hell am not high on life. Not a direct quote

It was refreshing with a variety of fruits, sweet red bean, little rice cakes, and vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. They also have a plethora of freshly baked Korean style cakes and breads ranging from soboru (my personal favorite ) to red bean buns and fried donuts. Would love to see if they can do a red bean filled soboru bun! I was surprised by how good the fried donut was - super soft and filled with sweet red bean inside. If you're a chestnut lover, I also recommend the chestnut soboru bun. It had chunks of chestnuts inside and was not too sweet. If you're a savory person or need a meal, they also serve ramen There are plenty of seats inside and the interior has such a classic, homey feel to it. They even have traditional Korean style seating! The workers are also very sweet and friendly. Definitely a place I would go back whenever the sweets craving hits!

**5 stars for the milk bread**…read more FUN FACT -- Tous Les Jous is owned by a South Korean food conglomerate group (same concept as Paris Baguette) and this is a bakery with Asian and European baked goods. I visited Tous Les Jours for the first time on Memorial Day (May 2026) at the Columbus location. I arrived around 2:30pm on a Monday. Surprisingly, they had lots of options available even with my late arrival because most bakeries run out of items quickly. They sell croissants, cakes, milk breads, macarons, drinks, etc. MY ORDER ($18.95 total for 4 items) -- Twist Donut ($2.95), Sweet Frank Roll ($4.50), Almond Croissant ($4.75), and a Whole Milk Loaf bread ($6.75). 1. Twist donut ($2.95) - sweet but not overly sweet. It tasted just like a regular twist donut that you'll find at other donut shops. 2. Sweet Frank Roll ($4.50) - good. Perfect savory option for breakfast or lunch. Soft and buttery bread base. I think $3 would have been a better price but the bread roll was good. I ate this in my car before driving back to Cleveland. It held me over until I got home. 3. Almond Croissant ($4.75) - my favourite item - buttery with some almond cream or paste inside. Topped with almonds. I don't like creamy things at all and I didn't realize that this croissant had a cream inside until I opened it but the cream is very light and it is more of a spread than a cream. 4. Whole Milk Loaf Bread ($6.75) - Fresh and soft. Definitely my other favourite item. This was all gone within a day, that's how good it was. Buttery goodness. The best bread. Overall, I enjoyed visiting Tous Les Jours and I hope to visit their Cleveland location soon. I ordered takeout so I didn't sit in but they have some tables and chairs available. I'll definitely be back if I'm close by the area again. Tous Les Jours means everyday in French and I wish I could visit them everyday...haha. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 101/250 total reviews in 2026 - 942 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 May 2026
