Whole lot of frying goin' on! We did not have the namesake churros. We only ordered from the "salty food" menu. (Their words not mine) Beef empanadas were indeed salty, but had good flavor. For my taste, they were a bit too doughy and meat could have used more seasoning. The star of the show were the pastelitos. We got them filled with ground beef and they came out of that fryer hot, crispy and ready to devour. They are sort of like mini empanadas, but with a better filling to dough ratio. They also come in cheese, chicken and pizza varieties. They have some traditional latin american style sandwiches and tequenos, which are described as venezuelan cheese sticks. Of course, several different sizes and styles of churros with dipping sauces. Everything is fried fresh to order. Staff were friendly and loved the Valentines flair. There was love in the food AND the decorations.

We came across Oh Churros when visiting Rita's one day, and immediately made note to make a future stop. As promised, they have a whole menu board of churro options, from bite-sized to filled to by the cup full, plus toppings and dips to choose from. We decided to go with the filled churros this time, one batch of Nutella and one batch of dulce de leche, both sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. They came out hot and golden, with tasty (and messy!) fillings to enjoy. Both were delicious, but we have to give a slight edge to the Nutella one. In addition to the signature churros, they have a variety of drinks - hot and iced coffees, hot chocolate, and a selection of specialty drinks, including Thai tea and matcha lattes. There are also savory options, including empanadas, pastelitos, tequenos (Venezuelan cheese sticks), and a selection of sandwiches that all sound great. We will have to visit again for a full meal instead of just dessert next time! There's a selection of seating and fun decor, including neat colored lighting. There's a fryer located behind the glass at the counter, and several kids were enjoying watching the goodies come out. Service was friendly. There was about a 10 minute wait after ordering, as they were cooking the churros to order, which was nice. There is a small parking lot in the shopping center lot, but it was definitely hopping at dessert o'clock between Rita's and Oh Churros!

    Love box (February special)
    Nadira Y.

I was excited to be able to grab a "love box" which includes a variety of items only being sold in February. I was a little bummed because I had called ahead to ask the price and was told $29.99 on the phone; however, in store was charged $33. I found the savory items, the empanadas with shredded beef and the pastelitos with chicken to be too salty. I had asked for the stuffed churros to be dulce de leche only, but received the mix of dulce de leche, nutella, and strawberry. The churros were great as usual. Overall, I think I will only order churros here from now on and check orders when received.

Oh Churros takes me back to Mexico City!! If that doesn't make you want to try them I don't know what can. I tell you they make some best Churros in town I am not kidding. Every order is made to order, fresh and crispy fried right in front of you with customized filling and toppings to your liking. They have so many options. I have tried their churros bites which are mini churros and different dipping sauces like Nutella or Condensed Milk etc They have empanadas and sandwiches as well They serve good range of drinks like hot Spanish chocolate and coffee to various Teas The ambience is cute and clean Service can be little slow as the are made fresh to order so do not expect it to be fast food quickness Overall definitely a must go dessert place in town

Oh Churros hasn't seen the last of me. The churros were outstanding. For real! They were outstanding plain, they were outstanding topped with cinnamon sugar, and they were outstanding with the dulce de leche and sweetened condensed milk dipping sauces. Oh Churros has additional dipping sauces to try, and I have no reason to think they won't be outstanding, too. They also have a selection of empanadas for $4.50 that shouldn't be slept on. I tried a beef empanada that came with a creamy green dipping sauce, and both were very good. Similar to the churros, I'd like to try different empanada fillings in future visits.

The churros at this shop are pretty good. This shop makes them fresh and you can watch them. They offer variety and flavors of dipping sauces. The menu also have a number of empanadas and refreshing drinks. the staff is very welcoming and helpful. The parking is a bit tight and complex to get into. The shop is cute and small, but the wall decorations is nice.

I love churros and am so excited that they opened their store! It's located in a small plaza with limited parking space within the plaza but there's space next door to park. The store is so bright, has pretty decor, is welcoming, and lively. I always get some type of churro and I've tried their bites and regular options, with either dulce de leche and condensed milk. I love both sauces and would love to try their other options. Their churros are crispy, chewy, fresh, sweet, and incredible. I don't think I've had a better churro! They're absolutely delicious. I got their Strawberry Thai iced tea to try once and it was good. I would like to try their other drinks and foods! The staff here are so nice and friendly! They're always so welcoming, warm, and always smiling. They really are patient and so kind. They treat you like family and service is always on top. I recommend for some amazing churros, amazing staff, and a good time. It's a good place to hang out, casual date, a good dessert, and small group hangouts.

I had them on my list to try since they opened. My friend said she had gone in the other day and told us to try it. It's located where peace love and donuts used to be. Small parking lot but we came late morning so it wasn't busy. We ordered the churros with cinnamon sugar. Delicious and crunchy. Made to order! They aren't greasy or heavy. Easy to eat yourself or share. For drinks, I decided to get the iced matcha while my sister opted for Thai tea. Hmmm it's mostly just milk. Couldn't hardly taste any other flavors. I'd come back for the churros and maybe try their empanadas too.

YES! Finally a proper churro brick and mortar in Columbus! Do yourself a favor and get over here and try these. We got the personal standard sized churros which were pretty small but they are perfectly fried. Crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside - just heaven. Is guest getting the Spanish chocolate to dip them. It was sweet but not overly sweet. Make sure to get the cinnamon sugar - they will ask if you'd prefer just regular sugar or cinnamon sugar. We can't wait to go back!

I was not a huge fan of the donut shop that previously occupied the space, so it seems like fate that this restaurant addresses the "stuff isn't fresh" issue I had with the previous tenant. While it took a while to get my order, I was able to watch them make it fresh, and the sugar high was absolutely worth the wait.

Stopped for a quick snack and it didn't disappoint. The Churros are made to order so it takes a minute so be ready. The line was out the door when I arrived and stayed this way until they closed. They are fried fresh and have 6 sauces to choose from for dipping. All sounded delicious but I went with hot chocolate and strawberry both were extremely good.

I know it's a churro place but I'm a huge empanada fan. A lot of Spanish being spoken by the workers and patrons. This was a good sign. I had to wait for my empanadas; which was another good sign. Freshly made and very good. They're not the best I've ever had but some of the best I've had in the city. Friendly employees with a bright, vibrant interior. I will be back to try the churros.

First time trying this place. The sandwiches were Amazing, big portion and so flavorful. We will be back for sure if in area. My sandwich which had fried plantain on it was scrumptious! I was almost too full to try the churros. My husband and I split the 3 churros one of each flavor (Nutella, Strawberry and Dulce De Leche) . I like the strawberry filled the best. They were flaky and fresh but a little too sweet for my taste. I might try them without filling next time.

There were half a dozen things I wanted to try, but I went with a simple paella and a single rib. Plus some churros to take home for Kid K. The paella was excellent. Good mix of plenty of rice, meat, veggies. A nice blend of flavors and textures. The rib was big and meaty, and flavorful without sauce, although I did use the sauces from the paella to dip in. Very, very enjoyable meal. Service was good. Order at the counter and they bring it out. Prices are a little high, but what isn't nowadays, and remember that you're downtown. I got the sampler which came with an empanada, rice, chicken, fries and a rib. The fries were cooked perfectly and had a nice crispiness to them. The meat on top tastes like a type of Italian sausage. The rib had a nice some taste, like as if it came right off the grill at a family bbq. My favorite part of the plate was the rice and chicken! It was so tasty. If you get spicy sauce just be prepared because it is spicy! But a delicious spicy.

We took a seat in the small dining room and within minutes complex aromas from our meal prep surrounded us. My belly started to rumble but within a short time our empanadas arrived. We decided on carne asada and pollo empanadas sharing both. Pollo was stuffed with peppers and onions. Very flavorful. The Carne be asada was only cubed beef. The flavor was fantastic but there were no vegetables. I purchased the Pico ( not the menu name) diced tomato onion oralegano red wine vinegar and oil. I ate the salsa with each empanada and thought it was fantastic and totally elevated the flavor of the empanada. I had read other reviews recommending the zuchinni. It did not disappoint! We love churos and had to order them here. These were unexpected. Maybe I'm used to mecican churos; fried dough, to covered in cinamon and sugar. As you can see in the photo- no cinamon or sugar sprinles (maybe the tiniest amount) House made dulche de leche is served on the side. Perfect for dipping the churo! I really enjoyed this churro. I think my husband was anticipating a more "mexican churro" experience. But he ate the entire stick! LOL. I'm excited to return - there are other empanadas flavors to try and that zuchinni will definately be ordred again!

Knowing the power that online reviews can have and taking some experiences with a grain of salt…read morehere and there because sometimes you hit that one off day where maybe a place that's normally epic just doesn't quite have their stuff together, I find that I end up giving 5 stars in a range that goes from "really good" to "Michelin needs to stop in here (or already has)." This is definitely on the latter end of the spectrum. I popped in here tonight for a late dinner (830ish on a Saturday) to find the place relatively busy but with plenty of open seats. The decor was a nice mix of dark and light with the bright green accents plus a big screen TV cycling tropical getaways (I assume from places in Latin America). I was seated and tended to quickly by a hostess and server, respectively. I got my order in for a coconut mojito and a chicharron arepa right away. My mojito came shortly thereafter with my arepa not long after that. The mojito, as you can see, was garnished with a generous amount of shredded coconut on top and was heavier and creamier than a normal mojito, lighter on the mint flavor and pushing closer to a piña colada than a mojito. All in all though, still quite a refreshing drink after a hot and humid day. The arepa though was really the star of the show. The flavors and textures and everything about it were just mind-blowing. The handmade cheese, the incredibly seasoned and cooked pork, and the crispy arepa were all just *BOOM*. The avocado had a little bit of surface darkness on the one end that could have been polished up a little bit but not the end of the world. One I finished with these, I waited patiently for a while for my server to come back but alas I had to pop up to the bar to get my caipirinha. This version was slightly sweeter than some versions I've had and I don't mind sweet, but just be aware for those who may be considering it. Eventually, my server came back and apologized for being gone so long as she was conversing with her boss. Like I said... grain of salt. Aside from a minor inconvenience of having to walk 10 feet to the bar myself, this place absolutely blew me away and I will absolutely come back if I ever find myself in town again.
