Schneiders is absolutely amazing! I've had their donuts before and they were good, but when we ordered 4 dozen for a work baby shower, they went above and beyond!! The employees and staff are super friendly, creative, and helpful. This place has the nicest staff and the easiest process for placing orders. Not only that, but the goodies are to die for- my mouth is watering while thinking about it!

I use to go to a different bakery for my cakes but they closed down so I had to choose a new one. I will not be using Schneider's again as a simple 1/2 sheet cake seemed to be too difficult for them. How difficult is it for a professional cake person to center the writing on the cake. I feel like they didn't care about me as a customer. I said the cake was fine when I picked it up because the party was due to start in a few hours & I didn't have time to wait for them to fix it. I am attaching a picture so you can see how they mushed everything over to the right of the cake.

I enjoyed trying different donuts from this place. Each one that I tried was delicious. We got chocolate glazed, cinnamon powdered donuts, a cinnamon roll, apple fritter, and regular glazed. Something about their classic glazed donut was addicting, it was light & fluffy and sweet but not too sweet. I will be back a few times a month. I would have given 5 stars but the staff didn't seem friendly...

Make sure you talk to them when picking up your cake or you will get a lot of pushback before they make it right. The cakes are delicious however, this one is not up to par for a 40 year celebration. We were disappointed with the cake and the customer service although they made it right after pictures and 3 phone calls.

This is THE bakery for the best apple fritters in town! Let them know if it's your first visit and you be treated to a free donut hole. Apple fritters: delicious Davy Crockett: swirled yeast dough that's iced with caramel icing. Extra delicious. Blueberry donut: dry Now I know why my Ohio family raves about this Westerville bakery. It's so delicious and the staff is very kind.

Ordered a King Cake for Mardi Grad! I called to place the order in advance, was ready as promised. $13. A traditional King Cake is a danish/cinnamon roll type pastry with a plastic baby inside, covered in classic icing and purple, green and yellow sugar sprinkles. If you don't know the history check it out online. Schneider's King Cake was very good. This had a sweet bread flavor and was packed with walnuts and raisins, great tasting icing and topped with sugar sprinkles. Even decorated with some beads! I liked this roll but didn't love it, perhaps I was spoiled by Nola originals but I did enjoy this cake. I think it would pair well for breakfast with coffee. Ready as promised, packed well to go. Would definitely recommend checking it out in time for Fat Tuesday. They mentioned 24 hours advance notice for pick up. laissez le bon temps rouler!

Delicious donuts since 1957. Downtown Westerville has lots to offer and Schneider's serves up really fantastic old fashioned tasting donuts. Pre-COVID they used to open as early as 1 am. Definitely a life goal to get there that early. Be prepared to stand in line if you get there before they open. The line moves pretty quickly so don't let that scare you away. Certain donuts do run out. Don't risk it, call ahead and order. Order: Cinnamon rolls w maple icing Apple fritters M&M yeast raised doughnuts.

Up in the area, I FINALLY got the chance to stop at Schneider's Bakery! Since opening 66 years ago (1964), they've obviously been a staple in the Westerville community. No frills or intricate/outta this world toppings, just quality yeast and cake donuts to satisfy. I got my usual go-to's: an Apple Fritter and their classic yeast Glazed donut. I tried a few bites of the Apple fritter right away. It was good. Do I wish it had more pieces of apple in it, yes; but I can't complain. The outside is covered in a nice crisped glaze layer, it was a crunchy-ish sensation, followed by pillow soft doughy inner guts that screamed GET IN MY BELLY! Plenty of cinnamon in their homemade dough, so it's so dang close to my standards of excellence. The shinning-fluffing-star of this trip was Schneider's simple, yet exceedingly exceptional, Glazed Yeast Donut. If any place has a claim to fame, they better damn-well be so good at it, they can do it millions times over again and again; and it better taste so elegant that it exceeds all else, leaving nothing obtainable at its level. Their glazed has reached this pinnacle. After a 15 minute stop at Trader Joe's, a 30 minute ride home, then 10 minutes of unpacking and settling in, the fluffin glazed donut was still so freaking soft and airy when I bit into it, good gawd drooooling. I've never - NEVER - tasted a donut that truly gave off hints of dough - NOT JUST PLAIN SUGAR. This donut was magnificent! The glaze is lite enough so it wasn't stealing the spotlight. I can't find enough words to describe the situation, but just trust me: Do NOT pass up Schneider's. In the town where I grew up, there use to be a made-from-scratch donut shop (Four Bakers), and they closed some 20-25 years ago; now there's only the boring humdrum chain breakfast eateries to satisfy your donut desires (Tim Horton's, McD's and Starbucks), so I can't even tell you how jeally I am for Westerville.

Schneider's is the best. Doughnuts for 40 years - since childhood - and after living in five different states, these are still the best.

Great donuts, the way they were meant to be. Not Krispy Kreme, Dunkin, or Tim Hortons.

Somehow had never reviewed them. In an industrial-park type strip mall, off Maxtown. Nice and open inside, super friendly and helpful staff, plenty of pies on display. Fruit pies, cream pies, and my goal for the day: pot pies. I'd never had theirs, and with cold weather they sounded good. I got a standard chicken (they also have white meat, and chicken with broccoli) and beef. Other options were beef/broccoli/mushroom, I think, and one or two more. They come in small, medium, and large. Small is about what you would get at a grocery. Of course I couldn't resist the sweet pies, but I only got one small one, a win for my health. Coconut cream, for Kid K; I ended up eating half of it, but she loved it too. Pot pies: I got mediums, about 2 servings worth. Very tasty. Sturdy but flaky crust, packed with meat and potatoes and veggies. All pies are in very sturdy boxes. I almost saved one to reuse around the house, they're that good. Definitely will be back. A bit out of my way, and I miss their other locations which were a little more handy for me, but these are worth the detour.

I ordered a seasonal blueberry, cherry, apple with oat crumb topping, a small buckeye, and small butterscotch pies. This is a cute, quaint pie shop that's as straight forward as its name. Service was very quick - I arrived when they had just opened. The pies were incredible. Loved the meringue on the butterscotch. The buckeye pie was very rich and chocolatey! The star of the show was the fruit pie by far! I am trying to figure out what cinnamon they used, because it's amazing. I will be back again sometime!
