Salted butterscotch latte and cookie dough latte
    Leon D.

Cool little coffee shop with tasty lattes! We stopped in to explore a new coffee shop and glad we added this one to our list. We were pleasantly surprised with our lattes that were steamed correctly with latte art. We also got a baklava that our son loved. The only thing I would change is the latte syrups to be made naturally in-house without the chemicals in everything these days. The service was very friendly and helpful with all our questions and even told us about Westerville Dave. The atmosphere is cozy although the space is small and has very limited seating. We were delighted with our experience and would definitely recommend!

Talip was awesome and so is everything in here. I ordered the Smooth Ride and it was everything. My friend loved his Buckeye MOA and his Turkish Bagel which was almost like a croissant. Also I ordered thr flat bread and had yummy gooey cheese on the inside.

We were exploring old downtown Westerville on a Sunday afternoon. We found only a few shops open, and were thrilled that one of them was Espresso Air! Delicious coffee and tea - we had a wintry mint mocha and a London Fog tea. Both were delicious, but I was jealous of the London Fog. Wow! The taste I had was fantastic. But my minty mocha had stellar foam art by the helpful server, so it all evened out. Next time we're in Westerville, we'll stop by Espresso Air! Small shop with just a couple tables. A few really excellent-looking pastries were shown, but we were strong and resisted. Street parking.

Espresso Air in Columbus was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming and cozy, and the quality of the coffee truly stood out. The espresso was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, clearly made by people who know and care about great coffee. Everything tasted fresh, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be coming back.

Super cute downtown Westerville coffee shop. Love the aviation themed decorations and drink names. Friendly staff, fresh coffee, quick service. Seating available both inside and out.

Such a cool little coffe shop with amazing coffee, great staff. They make their alternative milks in house and they are very good! I usually just get an almond milk latte and it never disappoints. They always have fun seasonal drinks too!

Small coffee shop. Lots of character. The staff is so friendly and the coffee is great!

How did it take me five years to walk into Espresso Air? This is a great local coffee shop. I completely recommend it! I ordered a honey latte with cinnamon. Not only was the coffee perfectly pulled and the milk was nicely steamed, the owner made a beautiful tulip coffee art in my cup. (Thank you! That makes me smile). If you are looking for a place to sit and work for hours... this might not the place for you as its small inside with two cafe tables but.... If you want a great cup of coffee, with beans locally roasted by the owner and a true local coffee shop feel, this is definately the place for you! If you like fresh baked cookies, bagels and savory flat breads... this is the place for you. The owner's family also owns the Tulip Cafe, which is a Turkish bakery and wow, the baked goods are fresh and they're good! The shop is in historic uptown on a cute corner entranced building. He has few cafe chairs inside and a few outside. The decorating and merchandising inside really adds to the aesthetics of his space. Its just such a nice, well done, locally owned business. Come support it! You will not be disappointed in anything.

We had a short break and decided to drive about 20 minutes from Columbus to check out Westerville and have some coffee. The spot was on a street corner and looked very cute as soon as you opened the door. They had a glass case of pastries and nice signage of their drink offerings. The barista was very friendly and explained some of the drinks we were interested in. When the guys were debating on what to order to snack on, I commented that I was gluten free and couldn't eat what they wanted. The guy behind the counter pointed out the selection of gluten free goodies. I was quite excited to have options. While waiting for the spinach pastry to be heated, two of us talked to the guy working there who happened to be from San Diego, California. We had a nice conversation with him about the Westerville area. There are two small tables along the windows so we sat at one of them to enjoy our coffee and goodies. The guys liked the Spinach pie they split as well as the gluten free Turkish Delight. Two of us had the Island Breeze Lavender espresso drink made with Coconut and Oat Milk and one guy had the same one made with Whole Milk. The coffees were fine though I didn't taste much lavender in mine. The guy's shift was over and he said goodbye to us on his way out and let us know someone else was coming to work the Third Thursday evening. An older gentleman watched the store from outside while waiting for the new staffer to arrive. Two customers patiently waited to be helped.

A very small specialty coffee shop that serves excellent coffee at a fair rate. I ordered a cortado. It was excellent. The milk was perfectly textured and the espresso tasted great. Totally recommend this place for an excellent espresso drink. The drink menu is a typical menu of a small specialty coffee shop. They serve the classic espresso drinks and include some seasonal and unique drinks. I stayed at the coffee shop to drink my cortado. There are just a few seats and they are close together so be comfortable with getting close to friends and strangers and hearing other's conversations. I didn't mind overhearing other's conversations. The guys who were there when I arrived and when I left must have been local and regulars. They respected my privacy and when I got up to leave they said to me, "Have a great day, brother!" I returned the blessing and felt a warmth of neighborliness. It's a little cold inside for me. (I write this in January when the weather is 34°). The barista even had on warmer clothing. I had a hoodie and jeans on and was comfortable despite feeling a tinge of cold. I really enjoyed the friendliness of the patrons and barista and great coffee. If I'm ever in town again I will return.

It is a tiny, tiny shop, with a huge personality. Love the plane theme/decor/branded cups! Pastries and coffee, nice selection. Friendly. I sat outside since there was not much room inside. My coffee was very strong (not a bad thing), and the pastries I ordered were good, though I don't remember what I ordered. They had some unusual pastries and even gluten free options. Definitely worth checking out.

Cute little coffee shop right downtown. Quite busy on a Sunday morning. We enjoyed an Americano, lazy 8 and vanilla iced cold brew. All were delicious. The spinach and feta pastry was heavenly. Worth a stop if you are in the area and like local coffee shops!

Super cute and cozy coffee shop in the heart of Westerville! The airplane decor was really neat. I got a cappuccino and my sister got the seasonal cookie dough latte.

Mocha latte, and coconut was very good.

By this time, our bread was gone and no wait staff had approached us to ask for drink order or food order. Another table next to us seated more customers. As the waiter came back to the first table to check on them, he then walked past us to wait on the new table. At least 15 minutes had passed since we walked in. We decided to approach the manager who was also waiting on tables. He assigned someone to us who was not the waiter on both sides of us. The waitress apologized that she was unaware of serving us and we began our requests. Though this situation was very uncomfortable for us, and was offered no compensation, it did end nicely. The food is delicious. What is most disturbing to us is this is our second visit to this restaurant and the same thing happened before. We had no wait staff come to us for our order! The exact same manager had to be flagged down and told we had no wait staff. He ended up taking our order. I have never seen anything like it.

They have a small shop tucked in a plaza, and their display of desserts and Turkish delight was impressive! The honey cake was my favorite, although the layer of honey fell off on our journey home It was slightly sweet with a layers of cake, cream, and grainy powder that was really good. The hazelnut baklava was tasty as well, and it was covered with a sweet cream which made it wetter than Greek baklava. Since they specialize in Turkish desserts and drinks, we also tried the Turkish coffee. It's served hot and was brewed very quickly. Since Turkish coffee is prepared without filtering, we were surprised by the layer of grounds on the bottom, but it's part of the taste and uniqueness of the coffee. It is on the stronger side so it paired well with the sweet dessert. I would like to try the coffee with some cream or milk next time. There is very limited places to sit since the shop is small, but it was empty when we were there so the service was quick.

There were a lot of bodies waiting in the small area near the host desk and it was a little chaotic. Our server kept trying to bring us the wrong bottle of wine (we ordered a bottle of French bubbly and she kept coming back with a Riesling) so I am not sure if it was a disconnect or what. Eventually we received the correct bottle after taking the toast tab and pointing to the appropriate one on the POS. Our group enjoyed some small plates; the ceviche and the beet salad and hummus were all lovely. However, I ordered the kind of already overpriced lobster scramble. The portion was CRAZY. What I received was a 1.5" piece of lobster meat on top of what seemed to be less than one eggs' worth of pre blended egg. There was still liquid egg that hadn't been cooked in the pan and it was accompanied by three wedges of a Roma tomato with a handful of dressed arugula. For $29. I would hope at that price point, I would at least get 2 eggs worth. WILD. All in all, enjoyable experience but Cameron Mitchell should probably revise some of the portion sizes/menu items. And please, please, nobody order the lobster scramble and experience the same fate that I did.
