    Pumpkin Pie latte
    Reyana K.

I want to preface this by saying we've only been through the drive thru, but this is really good coffee. My husband really loves the pistachio latte. I opted for a pumpkin pie latte this time around, and it was fairly good! I will warn you, if you go through the drive thru, it is nearly impossible to understand what the person is saying through the speaker. They seemed to understand what we ordered though because it was correct and very delicious! I definitely want to stop by when I have more time so I can see the inside and enjoy the decor a bit more. Overall it is really good coffee!

Shibam Coffee is another new Yemeni coffee shop in a sea of new coffee concepts in Columbus (not that I am complaining - it's about time!). Located in a small strip mall, the interior is smaller than some of the other coffee shops around town, but it has warm vibes and is decorated well. I have tried several different drinks and pastries here, and my favorite by far is the Iced Spanish Latte. The service is steady, and they also have a drive-thru for those in a rush (or in their pajamas). Among all the new coffee concepts in Columbus, this underrated coffee shop definitely punches above its weight, and deserves some love.

Great place to come to hang out with friends/ family or to study/ work. I have been to this place couple of times and both time they were very clean. The service on the other hand is very slow. First time visiting this place, we were waiting on the staff to come out from the back for about 15 minutes. Both times, it took them about 15 to 20 minutes to prepare our order. The service is slow but the staffs are friendly. I love pistachio latte so wanted to try it and it did not disappoint. We wanted to try the honeycomb but they did not have it. We needed up ordering the Caramel milk cake, which was ok. The caramel part of the cake was a little bitter for my taste. We also ordered the mango mojito, which was good too. Overall, the type of food and vibe is like Qamaria, but this place has better décor.

This cafe was recommended by two friends. Today was my first visit. The recommendations were on point. The interior is brightly lit and there is ample seating. Orders are placed at the counter. The cafe staff were friendly and provided quick service. I eyed baked items in their display case, but on this visit I just ordered coffee. My coffee order was their Pistachio Latte. The drink had a great flavor. It was very smooth, with just the right level of sweetness. This was much better than other Pistachio Lattes I tried at the big name coffee shops. Like my friends, I recommend visiting Shibam Coffee. I will definitely return, and try some of their food items.

Hidden over by the circle K in Sancus Rd is a brand new Yeman organic coffee shop. Soft lit wicker lighting creates a peaceful mood upon the marble floors and lovely counter. soft music creates a tranquil place to relax and have a cup of coffee. They specialize in the traditional Yemen styled coffee (dark n strong) that comes on an ornate tray with a cezve (small handled coffee pot) and a fincan which is a covered espresso cup w/saucer. Not into authentic? (Imo: You should try it at least once. Quite good,) Today I tried their pistachio latte while my husband transported himself temporarily to Yemen, ordering the Yemen coffee- both experiences were fantastic. We also ordered a honeycomb pastry which is basically a triangle shaped of pastry that is textured similar to the inside of a bagel as it's stuffed with cream cheese and has honey sprinkled all over it. It's made up of small balls individually stuffed, and you tear them apart as the rounded portions are pretty much bite-size pieces. The honeycomb pastry as you go to at any Turkish place and this one was exceptional. As far as service, excellent and friendly. They even sent us home with a sample of their imported Yemen honey which truly is different (and better) than mist of the homeys here in the USA. We left relaxed and fully caffeinated. Ps. The pistachio latte... flawless. So good.

Wow...this is now my go coffee house in the Polaris area. I can guarantee if you are a try coffee drinker, you will not be disappointed. We stopped in twice in their opening week. First time we sat in the beautiful dining/seating area. I enjoyed a Turkish coffee (brewed in a small, long-handled copper pot called a cezve and served with a fincan to drink). OMG...it was amazing. My wife got a pistachio latte and it was delicious. We shared a honeycomb and it was the best we have had in the area. We also got to try one of their teas and it was incredible. Our second visit was to use the drive thru. Loved the fact we ordered with an actual person and not some box with a speaker and mic. I got a Mufawar coffee. It was exceptional. They also have a case full of pastries and breakfast sandwiches. The service is incredible and the staff takes the time to prepare your order to perfection. They are very personable and polite. Interior is beautiful. It is amazing what they did to the space (old dry cleaner). Lot of comfortable seating. Also plenty of space to bring your laptop for remote work. I can't wait to stop back in and try some of their other coffees. Enjoy!!!

Very beautiful inside. The staff was very friendly and a one of the staff member a man gave my husband a free sample of the Turkish coffee to try because he seen and heard my husband ask another customer how it was. So, that was really cool and nice of him to do. My husband likes dark coffee and this made him very happy. I tried the shibam latte and the honeycomb which were both absolutely delicious, very pleased. Can't wait to come back and try something new.

The pastries were alright. The service on the day we were there was rather poor. They had just opened and were obviously short staffed. The coffee was great. The ambiance was really unique and fun!

While it is embedded in Columbus's suburbia, the place certainly makes you think of the environment that it's trying to convey; based on the signage I looked up their namesake city in Yemen, and overall the atmosphere was strong. I had my eye on a slice of Dubai chocolate cake, a faddish but likely delicious creation, but there was only one left and the person in front of me in line took it. I was a little peeved, but they had a nice pastry selection, and I settled for a lotus cake soaked in milk, which I ultimately did not receive; they brought me a caramel flavored one instead for some reason. I didn't want to waste it and it looked appealing so I went ahead and ate it. Getting my chai unsweetened was probably a good health decision, but the spices felt a little lifeless and maybe some mild sweetening would have helped. Could have been a better experience, but still tasty and interesting at the end of the day.

    Pistachio latte and almond croissant

Just came here for the first time and it was super nice. The place itself is cute and very clean. The workers were friendly and they have a full menu. I got the pistachio latte and almond croissant. The pistachio latte was 9/10. Delicious but a tad too sweet for me. I came here and read for a few hours and it was very nice and relaxing. Not too loud and they had classical music playing. I'll definitely be back soon

You'll know you came to the right place as soon as you walk in, the smells and decor are amazing! We came twice while we were visiting from out of town with friends. They've really decorated nicely. There is a lot of seating, enough for our group of 13 to sit and eat/drink. The pistachio latte is great if you don't mind anything sweet and the Spanish latte was a good traditional latte. The Turkish coffee was delish and presented perfectly. I highly recommend the baklava, I had it both days. The staff was kind and patient while we decided what we wanted. Will be back!

Came here early weekday afternoon. The decor throughout was gorgeous. There are many tables varying from 2-4 seats. The booths have access to outlets. They have many tea, coffee, and non-caffeinated options. As well as non-dairy milk. They also have some pastries (the menu offers a lot, but - majority of the pastries were not available when I went). We ordered a Shibam coffee with oat, a Spanish latte, pistachio cheesecake, croissant egg and cheese sandwich, and a cheese and tomato fatayer. The pastries are good but don't taste the most fresh. Maybe it's because we went just after noon and not in the morning. The drinks were good. The shibam coffee has sediment in the bottom. The would recommend the Spanish latte if you want something more like an American latte establishment. This is a chain and this establishment is consistent with another one I've been to.

The prices here are way more reasonable than a DQ or a Baskin-Robbins. An order of two large-cone (large cones are 99¢, small cones 50¢. *prices subject to change(?)) single scoop ice cream's came up to approximately $10 and change. It is a nice place to bring kids. There are video games and an air hockey table. There are tables to sit at indoors to be able to relax and enjoy the ice-cream before it melts. It was over 90° out today, and there was no way the ice-cream would've made it to the car. The strawberries and cream I got was soo refreshing! My cohort with me got the caramel ice cream which had a caramel swirl. I tasted a bit of hers and it had a coconut-like base flavor to it that reminded me of a mild flavored egg nog and very much like kahlúa in the base. I am not a fan of caramel but I am very much a fan of kahlúa, therefore a fan of the caramel flavored icecream. The counter staffer states they make the icecream in-house. It would explain the partially melted look to the tops of some of the ice cream. Homemade ice-cream when I was a child always had the same melty texture. The staff member was so patient with us as it was our first time there and the menu along with the total amount of ice-cream flavors was a slight bit more intimidating than expected for our choices. The customers were able to order in English or Spanish which I thought was awesome seeing as my neighborhood can benefit from going here and not being intimidated by using a language that is uncomfortable for them. It was a lot of younger families and teens but it wasn't a rowdy atmosphere. I'm not into rowdy. If you are in the neighborhood, feeling like you want a walking taco, ice cream, sundae, funnel cakes, churro's, or just a cold bottled drink definitely stop in. Most definitely stop in before visiting DQ and save some cash. I highly enjoyed and recommend this spot as I will be back again soon.

Somehow had never reviewed them. In an industrial-park type strip mall, off Maxtown. Nice and open inside, super friendly and helpful staff, plenty of pies on display. Fruit pies, cream pies, and my goal for the day: pot pies. I'd never had theirs, and with cold weather they sounded good. I got a standard chicken (they also have white meat, and chicken with broccoli) and beef. Other options were beef/broccoli/mushroom, I think, and one or two more. They come in small, medium, and large. Small is about what you would get at a grocery. Of course I couldn't resist the sweet pies, but I only got one small one, a win for my health. Coconut cream, for Kid K; I ended up eating half of it, but she loved it too. Pot pies: I got mediums, about 2 servings worth. Very tasty. Sturdy but flaky crust, packed with meat and potatoes and veggies. All pies are in very sturdy boxes. I almost saved one to reuse around the house, they're that good. Definitely will be back.
