We arrived at opening (8am) on a Monday and had no wait & wonderful selection of donuts and other treats. I especially loved the dough sticks which had the best flavor and texture inside. Half of our dozen was dough sticks and next time I will probably get more because they seemed to disappear when I took them home. I loved the wall of donut flowers too!

Wonderful longtime bakery in a new location. Spacious inside and you take a number then wait for them to call it and browse beforehand to be ready to order. The display of all items are so inviting. Glaze and cake donuts, eclairs, cookies, cakes and fritters. I bought some peanut butter cookies, red velvet donut, glaze donut, custard filled donut, and an apple fritter. We are visiting our home town and this bakery made our wedding cake over 30 years ago. Enjoyed the red velvet and glaze donuts and cannot wait to eat the rest of the goodies Delicious and fresh! Wonderful to see the quality remains.

I have been to the other location on Livingston Avenue which was very small. The new Gahanna location is much bigger and has more parking in it too. They still have the grave donuts and cakes and excellent service from the staff. I will be going back to Resch's Bakery soon for any cakes, donuts, and yummy desserts.

Guess what's in the box!?!

We got here on a Saturday morning just after they opened so we thought. They had actually opened 30 minutes earlier than we expected. When you walk in you pull a number and wait for it to be called. Almost felt like I had walked into the DMV. lol We peeked at the display counters while we waited and tried to have our orders ready when it was our turn to expedite the wait for those after us. There were a few shelves that displayed various cookies, breads and things you could grab and go. The place was clean and the process was orderly. They seemed to keep things in the front stocked. We probably waited about 15 minutes. I pulled number 90 and the were calling the last of the 60's. We ordered several items to try including the packzis with three different fillings since we went at the right time of year for these. We grabbed a cheese, strawberry and lemon. We also chose a cheese danish, maple cream stick, apple fritter, cherry turnover and a donut stick. Once we told them what we wanted the girl helping us went to the back and started filling our box. A few moments later she returned, we paid and headed out the door with our sweets. My husband didn't want to wait so we opened up the box once we got to the car and each took one bite from each of our selections. We didn't find anything wrong with our choices. The one thing I was thrown off by is how they make their apple fritters. I almost missed ordering one bc they look nothing like the apple fritters I'm used to eating. It was just ok in my book. Not something I would get again. The donut stick on the other hand is something I wouldn't miss next time. In fact I'd be getting more than one. It was probably my favorite item of all we selected. The cream stick dough was soft. The cream wasn't too sweet. The only thing I would have changed was to have the maple icing be a bit more maple flavored. The turnover was nice and crispy flakey but the filling was just ok. Maybe a different flavor next time if I would get one. How can you go wrong with a cheese danish? Warm this slightly and you're hitting a home run. This was a nice stop and we learned the difference between what we liked and loved. We know just what to get next time. I will say they have a great social media presence and do a phenomenal job interacting with their customers and community.

German chocolate cake

I ordered a small german chocolate cake from here and it taste good however, this was NOT a German chocolate cake. It was a dark chocolate cake with German chocolate frosting on the top of the cake only. The layers of cake did not have German chocolate frosting in between them. I would definitely not recommend this if you're looking for an authentic German chocolate cake. I placed a pick up order and that process was easy. I placed the order over the phone and they did require payment in full. The pickup process was pretty simple they had a sign directing you where to you. However the cake was $48 and it was not a real German Chocolate Cake and that was disappointing

When you walk on the door, make sure you get a number so you can be called up to the counter to get your sweets. We came in on a late Saturday morning around 10am and they still had their donut case filled full to serve everyone. Not overly sweet, nice and soft with a pillowy texture. The donuts are divine. They also make cakes...very good cakes. My kids actually request their cakes for their birthdays.

For delectable, melt-in-your-mouth glazed doughnuts, this establishment consistently delivers an exceptional experience.

Location/Bakery; It appears I came to the right spot, as the line to get a parking spot and the amount of people that were waiting to order. The Bakery is filled with baked goodness as far as an eye can see. Food; On this day I got donuts for Easter breakfast and every single one was fresh and delicious. Also, got the cutest Easter Bunny cake that was a hit at the Family Easter meal. Service; I was worried with the amount of people I saw, but the service was on the spot and got everyone in and out and very friendly with smiles.

First time at the new location I must say the space is bigger than the previous location. More room to stand, but you better get there early because they pretty much sale out everyday. I learned the hard way I went one day late and was told they were sold out. The lines are long but I must say they get the line moving pretty fast. They use a number system so when u go in you would pull a number and wait for that number to be called. New location but still haven't missed a beat as far as quality.

Blueberry danish, cinnamon roll, apple fritter etc.

Great donuts, even better pastries. I did a bit of dabbling all over the place with what I tried and it was all pretty good. Great service from the staff as well.

Terrible management ruined the vibe. Cake was fine, but leadership fumbled badly. ....

Everything looked so good but we limited ourselves to one pastry each. Blueberry Gallete and Everything Danish were the winners. Great choices! The sugar sprinkles around the Blueberry Gallete put it over the top! There were so many blueberries you got a piece in every bite. The Everything Danish was good but was tad crisp. The chive cream cheese on top was so great I'm glad there was more than I would normally want. Drinks were good but took longer than we had hoped. There was only 1 barista but she was working hard with all the orders coming in. I enjoyed the latte art but sadly we got cold drinks. I enjoyed the offered seasonal flavors such as Gingerbread. I did notice that matcha was sitting in a carafe ready to go if someone was ready to order. Not sure how I feel about that as it can get clumpy waiting around. Seating can be a bit tough during peak hours. There are two communal type tables in the middle which are nice for larger groups. Outdoor patio seating as well but not on these colder winter days. Team was super friendly! Will come back again and actually enjoy a coffee and pastry there. Tip: Blueberry Gallete is soo flaky and buttery do not eat it in the car. lol. I got three huge flakes on my sweater as I took a bite. Well worth it.
