Been meaning to try the Bearded Baker for sometime now and today was my try out day! Hit it up for the reasons of trying mini options as we get closer to our anniversary on July 2. I originally was going to order a cheesecake, still may do so, but hated the idea of missing out on a variety of options. Plus, there is only two of us so maybe the quick fix pick up options with a variety are best. We shall see! Today, I picked up for mini-cheesecakes, a brownie and a cookie. I get to surprise my husband later and they are the perfect small size for sharing so this will last us a while - at least until our anniversary next month. :). Customer service rocked. Parking is available though just a few spots. Establishment was clean. You get to pick up a few bottles of drinks like H20 or soda, I saw. The counter is two parts: one with cheesecake options and the other with cookies/brownies. Easy in and easy out. I'm impressed. The real deal will be when my husband gets to try this fun stuff with me and yes, I signed up for a rewards program. How can you not? Huge boost in points for signing up and it's free. The Beared Baker is absolutely phenomenal and they will definitely take care of that sweet tooth you have. They have a fantastic selection of so many delicious desserts and sweet treats it's impossible to choose just one. Great customer service and clean and inviting area. They always have a great selection and something for everyone. If you haven't been to the Bearded Baker you missing out, make plans to visit them the next time you're in Columbus. BOOM!!!! read more

We stopped in for the first time today. I must say it's a neat little place to get cheesecake and cookies. We opted for the Buckeye, the Cherry Stuffed White Chocolate and the Strawberry Crunch. I didn't get a picture of the Buckeye one, instead I took a photo of the Cinnamon Roll. All of it looks so good! read more

Stopped here on a whim today to grab a treat! Bearded Baker never disappoints! I got a chocolate and caramel cheesecake and my husband got chocolate hazelnut. We both loved what we got. I was worried mine would be too rich and sweet and it was totally the opposite. It was smooth and creamy and not overly sweet at all, just perfect. The service was great. The lady working even offered to get a flavor from the back if we wanted it. Everything in the case looked inviting and fresh. Before we left we also grabbed two sea salt chocolate chip cookies which we delicious! read more

This bakery is fantastic! My sister asked for a Bearded Baker cheesecake for her birthday. I didn't realize they have a 6-7 day turnaround and only have a Sunday pickup...but thankfully they have a shop you can go get slices and mini cakes 6-days a week. I decided to go to the store front instead since I needed them by Satruday. This ended up being even better because then I could get several different flavors for my sister and I to try. I wanted to try every single one of them but stopped at 5 flavors and a slice. I sampled the blueberry lemon and red velvet mini. Both are delicious but the blueberry lemon was mind blowing with a perfect sweet to tart ratio of flavors. I also got to try their sweet potato cheesecake by the slice. This also had fantastic flavor. I wasn't a fan of how thick the crust was on the slice but am still a fan! They also offer cookies, brownies, a daily soup flavor, and some sourdough bread loaves. I am always looking for a good bakery with reasonable prices . The Bearded Baker has fabulous tasting treats and good prices. My favorite treat is the double chocolate cookie sandwich with butter cream filling. I also love the blueberry chocolate tart. The brownies are rich and soft. The displays are easy to see and prices are posted next to each item. There is parking in the lot in front. The store is clean and bright. The staff is very helpful and friendly. On a previous trip I got my daughter a banana cake and her friend a creme brulee. I was impressed with the fact that they 'burned the top just before packing it up. Baked goods are wonderful. However. I am a huge fan of the baker's soups! Yum yum. So delicious!! Especially chicken corn chowder and chicken jalapeño. U can have a great lunch and outstanding dessert at the same place. Wonderful place. Very friendly and nice staff too read more

I had wanted to try this place since it was at East Market. I hadn't known they moved from East Market to Bexley, but thankfully it is still right down the road. :) something that has impressed me is that they don't have freezers which shows they really care about baking fresh desserts every day. That's some dedication! I also didn't know the menu is rotating, which is pretty cool. There were 2 ladies at the front who helped us, they were nice.
