I stopped by around 11:30 on a Saturday morning. The display cases were very well stocked and they were well staffed. There were a number of people picking up custom cake orders as well. I loved the peanut butter cookie, it was so soft! The chocolate chip oatmeal was also good. And the cinnamon scone was a great size and also so soft. read more

Finally got up here when they're open. 9-2 I think. Small shop, sure cute inside, not an old-school bakery like I expected. Nice cases filled with amazing things. No donuts, which I had assumed would be the draw. Loads of cakes, cookies, scones, cinnamon rolls, and other pastries. I was overwhelmed with choices. I got two cookies and two scones. Wanted about two dozen things. So far I've only had one scone, a raspberry one. Incredible. Great texture, great flavor. Huge. Drooling over the next one. Excellent service. Good prices. Will definitely be back. read more

The desserts are always good, but the service is sometimes hit or miss. It's still one of my favorite bakeries in Columbus! read more

Update - I got another birthday cake, but this time customized. Filled out the order form online and was communicating with the bakery quickly. We went back-and-forth between fondant and buttercream and ultimately settled on a custom buttercream design for my son's 8th birthday. Design and payment locked in on Tuesday for a Saturday morning pick-up. Every kid and parent was super impressed with the cake (and several asked us where we go it so, hopefully, this gives them more business)! It looked fantastic and tasted great also. They did not disappoint! read more

I love an extravagant cake for my birthday and specifically white ganache. Every year I try one from a different bakery and I like bakeries that I can see options for different style cakes online to decide what I want. This cake was exactly as pictured and described online. Wow! A friend dropped off a box of cookies as a post surgery treat. Might be the best peanut butter cookies of all time. Kids and spouse enjoyed chocolate chip, m&m and oatmeal raisin as well. These were a divine treat! read more

They did a great job with a custom order. I had 2 dozen cookies with different designs. It ended up being $4 a cookie, which seems pricey, but the cookies were large and very delicious. My guests raved. The shop is really cute and they do cakes, other pastries, cupcakes and cookies read more

I love Mrs. Goodman's and cannot recommend enough! I placed a custom order for a party plater of desserts for a 25th birthday and they did a great job following the directions. They can be busy when visiting in person and there is not a lot of space to sit down, it is better to grab and go. The environment is clean. Their products are always fresh and consistent, I am always looking forward to coming here to grab something for family, friends, or even myself. Glad I found this little gem in Columbus. read more

We have now ordered birthday cakes from Mrs. Goodman's on 2 separate occasions, and on both occasions, we loved the cakes we ordered. Mrs. Goodman's does a fantastic job with the cake designs, and they pay great attention to details. It also helps that the cakes are delicious - the chocolate cake is one of the best I have had in Columbus with just the right level of sweetness in the buttercream frosting. The place was moderately busy when we visited, but the staff was very patient and thorough with us while we asked our questions and placed our orders. We tried a few of their cupcakes, scones, cookies, and an apple pie, and one can taste the freshness in all these products. I highly recommend this bakery, and look forward to many more visits here. read more

It has been a full week of Mrs Goodman's and they have absolutely knocked every single one of my requests out of the park. From Oscar Party birthday cupcakes, to book and golf themed cupcakes, to St. Patrick's Day cookies, to the absolute icing on the literal and metaphorical cake of my custom made book birthday cake. I gave them a photo I had seen online and they were able to make the cake of her dreams for my friend's birthday. Their attention to detail is unbelievable and their creativity knows no limits. But don't be fooled, all of these items taste as good, if not better, than they look. The cake was light and spongy and delicious with an icing that had the perfect amount of sweetness. Not to mention every person I worked with over the last week has been kind, helpful, and responsive. If you are looking for a bakery in Columbus, look no further. I have been going to Mrs Goodman's for years but this most recent experience proves why I keep coming back and you should too! read more

I can't say enough good things about Mrs. Goodman's Baking. We've enjoyed many delicious baked goods, especially the beautiful cookies. The family is also very generous, donating cookies yearly for our Veterans Day celebration. Thank you, thank you, thank you! read more

Dry ass cake and terrible customer service. They messed up my order and refused to give me a refund for a dry cake, to be honest you're better at finding a cake that tastes good and isn't dry at your local grocery store, i don't know why it's hard to make decent mediocre cake. read more

Everything I have tried here has been wonderful. The staff has been terrific as well. Highly recommend!

I live in Grove City and my Mother lives near Polaris, so it only makes sense that I stop by one of my favorite bakeries on the way to visit my Momma every.single.time! Every time I stop by I can never make up my mind on what sweets to grab. Between their amazing pumpkin cookies, pumpkin bread, iced shortbread cookies and cakes pieces, the choice is never an easy one! Today I grabbed 2 Red Velvet cupcakes, a Pecan Roll, and an Iced Cinnamon Roll. I left the Pecan Roll with my Momma, but if you like Pecans (I don't), it looked like none I've ever seen. It was very sticky and gooey. "Momma says"... that's the best kind! The Red Velvet cupcakes were moist, delicious, and that cream cheese icing was delectable! I only took a bite of the Iced Cinnamon Roll, but it's beckoning me from the kitchen ever since! Please support local and stop by this bakery on High Street in Worthington. You'll thank me later! I actually got up and took another bite of that Iced Cinnamon Roll before I even finished this review! read more

Fantastic cookies. They are all I've tried so far. Treat yourself to the oatmeal butterscotch! Superb

If you like chocolate and vanilla tuxedo cake's this is your place. I just don't fancy chocolate and vanilla cake's anymore as maybe as I'm starting to (age) my taste buds don't like that much sugar. I liked the decoration of the cake though and the thought behind it. I want to definitely check out some of their other cake options as I'm not a chocolate or vanilla cake lover. I'm more of a fruity cake lover so maybe next time I will see what fruit cakes options are available. This bakery gets the stars for just the thought behind the cake even though I wasn't quite a fan of the flavor of the cake. I will definitely be back to get my husband his black forest cake though since I know he's been wanting to get it from here and I cannot deny a man from his sweet tooth! read more

We ordered our wedding cakes through Mrs. Goodman's and they were delicious, beautiful, and our guests raved about how fantastic the cakes were. Many people went back for a second or third slice! An amazing friend brought a dozen of frozen scones from Mrs. Goodman's to our tea party on Saturday, and I went back on Tuesday (only because Sundays and Mondays are their personal days) to get more scones. Are they that good, you asked? Yes... yes my friend, they are addictive. I had their cream (BEST with clotted cream and marmalade), blueberry, cherry almond, chocolate chip and went back for apricot. That apricot one was so... oh so... very very good! I was hoping for peaches and cream, but they are not available since... well it's Fall. But will I be zipping to Mrs. Goodman's when Summer come? You bet these sweet scones I will. I bought these scones frozen so I can enjoy them warm and (bonus) perfumed my place with fresh baked scones aroma. Another bonus? I can store them (was told to transfer them to a plastic bag) in the freezer and pull them out any time for... you guessed it, FRESH scones everytime! If you are not currently in your vehicle on your way to Mrs. Goodman's right now, you certainly don't know what your missing. Another bonus, all the ladies at Mrs. Goodman's are super nice. Scones, they will bring warmth to your bones. read more

Mrs Goodman's Baking Co had a Grand Re-Opening today. They were handing out samples of their product, Crimson Cup was there giving out hot cups of delicious coffee. There was a line out the door as we waited to get to the counter to make our selection and purchase some fantastic treats. We purchased a cinnamon roll with icing and a pecan roll. Of the samples we tried a plain scone, blueberry scone and a cinnamon scone. We also tried pumpkin pie, apple pie, chocolate chip cookie, and a peanut butter dark chocolate cookie. They were giving out raffle tickets with every $5 purchase. There were about a dozen gift bags to choose from. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. All of the samples we tried were very delicious and tasty. read more

Had a hankering for Mrs Goodman's. Stopped in and got my usual cookies which everyone knows are the bomb. I also decided to get a Pecan Roll which I had wanted to try forever. Came home and heated it up in the microwave. It was mouthwatering, tons of nuts, cinnamon and carmel. Off the chart, you won't find one better than the one at Mrs Goodman's. The thing that puts this business above others though is the staff. Super friendly and a great example of what you are supposed to do as far as customer service. Love this place!!! read more

Me and my friend stopped by before they closed and ordered the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookie and it was huge with being delicious too. I will try another cookie there soon and I enjoy supporting local businesses like Mrs. Goodman's Baking Company. They are closed Sundays and Mondays for "Family Time". Also, I might buy a cake or pie there too. Thank you so much for best Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookie I have ever had. read more

Exemplary customer service! I ordered an apple crumb pie to be ready for my birthday and on the morning of pickup there was a mistake in the kitchen and the wrong pie was made. Accidents happen. Not only did they gift me the wrong pie but immediately made the correct pie and even hand delivered it to my home a few short hours later - a 30+ minute drive away mind you! Pie still warm from the oven! Both pies smelled immaculate and filled my kitchen with mouth watering aromas. They taste even better than they smell. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience, my first ever with this company to boot. They will undoubtedly be receiving my business many times over in the future. Also grabbed a pair of their pecan rolls and iced cinnamon rolls on the way out, they are heavenly! Thank you Mrs. Goodmans! read more
