    Birthday Cake Pops

This is quite possibly the closest I've ever been to experiencing Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Walking though the front door I was literally transported from a drab and dreary winter day to a brilliantly bright dreamland. There wasn't a single thing in the store which I didn't want to leave with me but hey! I'm not a millionaire! So instead, I settled for leaving with 7 delicious treats. Rachel was SOOOO kind and patient with me as I questioned her on every variety available and stood there like a bumbling fool unable to narrow down which delectable treats would make the trek back home for me and the family. Suffice it to say, there is but 1 cake pop left from yesterday (and I'm surprised IT made it this far!). Excited to try this cocoa bomb so that I can scurry back for more!

This is such a cute, eye-catching little shop. After finding out about Sadie Baby Sweets through a Yelp event, I knew we needed to stop by when we found ourselves driving by on a dreary day. The bright colors immediately had us perking up and heading in to find out what beautiful and delicious treats were on hand. After eagerly looking over all of the many choices, we ended up with a peanut butter bar with a yellow flower, a chocolate covered Oreo with a pink butterfly, two fun cake pops with sprinkles - lemon and red velvet, and a milk chocolate covered caramel pretzel stick with rainbow sprinkles. The decorations are essential to this tale, because the kiddo took it very seriously and the staff member who assisted us was very kind and patient as these selections were made. She confirmed each selection and got it all bagged up for us nicely, which was especially helpful as it started to rain as we were leaving. Everything was delicious and much enjoyed! Street parking and the hours are limited - be sure to check in advance before you head over (or luck out and find yourself driving by at the right time)!

I requested a custom order of an assorted desserts for my best friend's bridal shower that had to be moved to their house due to covid restrictions - it was a rush order for less than a week away and I couldn't be more impressed! Her bridal colors are dusty sage, dusty blue and cream and the chocolate coloring is a perfect match. Lastly, those custom "love wins" theme was perfect - thank you ladies so much

Such a cute little bakery in the middle of Grandview. You have to ring the door bell to get attention of someone to open the door. I have to wait a little less than 2 minutes for someone to come in. The shop is very clean, spacious, and very girly. The had cake pops, dipped Oreos, chocolate covered rice krispies, dripped pretzels, amongst other treats. I got 4 cake pops because my girls love them and a rice crispy (milk chocolate covered for myself). The cake pop had such cute designs with the sprinkles and was delicious while the rice crispy had a cute OHIO color design to it was okay. I love home made rice krispy, they are exactly my favorite dessert. But the one I got at Sadie's taste like the store bought " Rice Krispies Treats Originals" brand, you know the one in the blue box with the blue wrappers. They are not bad by all means but they have a distinct taste to them, and the ones at Sadie's tastes just like them. Again I'm not saying it is good but I just not to my liking and not worth 2.50. I will come back because the cake pop, which was 4 for 10 dollars, was delicious and I want to try the other treats.

    Custom 30th birthday cookie order

Sadie Baby Sweets made a custom cookie order for me the week of. I sent a few photos for inspiration and the cookies turned out better than I imagined! Friendly, responsive customer service and fair pricing. I will definitely order from Sadie Baby in the future for all my dessert needs!

One word: Addictive. Go ahead, try and eat just one of their freakin AMAZEBALLS cake pops. You can't. Ok, so maybe if you have sold your soul to the lower-bowl tenant with black horns and a pitchfork. Otherwise, ha, good luck with that "self control". I'm completely consumed with both the lemon and chocolate pops. The cake part is unbelievably soft and creamy. Dreamy indulgence! Really, they're the perfect treat. I keep replaying the Tootsie Pop sucker's Owl commercial: One, two, and he chomps down, the sucker is gone. No need for three bites. If you're feeling daring, or just have a nagging sweet tooth, this is your cure!

The display of chocolates was completely mesmerizing and contained a wide variety of truffles and handmade candy bars. The shop owner was very friendly and also gave recommendations on what to try. I tried only two truffles because I was so full from all the foods I tried before: Lavender Hand Rolled Truffle: The truffle itself was very dense and rich with a strong presence of cocoa. Every bite melted in my mouth just like any good quality chocolate. What ruined this one was the lavender flavoring which was so overpowering that all I could taste was cocoa and lavender. Vietnamese Cinnamon Hand Rolled Truffle: I really enjoyed this one. The cinnamon and honey in the truffle paired perfectly with the strong cocoa flavor and the chocolate itself was very rich. If I was ever in the area again, I would probably come by to try their handmade candy bars and white chocolate items.
