I stopped in here today to grab some chicken shawarma for lunch real quick on my way back to my hotel. Unfortunately, I ordered online or else I would have absolutely bought half of what was in the display case. It all looks amaaaazing! The place was certainly cozy inside with some seating in front and along the side walls and the cashier there was quite pleasant. The chicken shawarma itself was pretty good. Good flavor, though a little bit messy after the first few bites when the juices start leaking out all over the place. It certainly leaved a lot to be desired just tossed into a styrofoam box without being in a wrap or something like shawarma oftentimes comes in. The spicy sauce on the side was also quite good but kind of overpowered the shawarma itself. It also came with a side of Lay's salt and vinegar chips. Really not a fan of said chips and seems like an opportunity to maybe do something more in line with the cuisine to me. Overall, the food was solid but not necessarily mind-blowing from an appearance or functionality perspective. I'd definitely love to come back to get some of those desserts some other time though! read more

One time as a kid, I had mud in my mouth. Actually multiple times. And crappy coffee is not much better. Luckily if you come here, that's not what you get. Walking in the front door is like being transported- except no language barrier. Truly, their English is perfect. The staff is so helpful as they describe in detail the unique bakery goods and drinks. This is not your standard US fare. This is coming straight out of their home country. If you want just regular cheap crappy coffee, just go ahead and go to the fast food place or get your Maxwell house and do it yourself. But if you want something exotic or interesting give Finjani a try. read more

I ordered ice coffee with oat milk and sugar free vanilla. I also ordered milk cake and strawberry tiramisu to go. The milk cake was light, not overly sweet and great. I don't taste much of the mascarpone in the tiramisu though. The place is clean but the alarm (every time the front door opens) is pretty loud I don't know if I could fully relax if I stayed there. The service was friendly, however, I got a wrong order twice. I wanted ice coffee with oat milk with sugar free vanilla. I initially got hot coffee and the staff apologized and made another one. I then got cold coffee (no ice- nor sure if they remade a totally new ice coffee or poured the hot coffee they initially made and put it over ice) and no oat milk. I'm not upset at all, we all make mistakes and that's totally fine. However, I can't really rate the coffee as I'm not sure if that's how they always make ice coffee or not. I could have asked to make it again but I was pressed for time but it took them a bit of time to remake the coffee so I was afraid it would take even more time. Sometimes it is one of those days you refuse to make dinner and Finjani Cafe had just what I needed. I ordered a small Adani tea and they gave me a large at no extra cost. It was so sweet of them as it was an extremely cold day out and I appreciated the extra heat. They also have a few food options of crepes, waffles, and wraps. I ordered a chicken shwarma wrap. The wrap tasted fantastic! The only thing I would have wished that they didn't cut the wrap up into smaller bites. It made it messy to eat where I would have rather just held the wrap. I also ordered a slice of the lotus cheesecake but they gave me the lotus cake. Even though it wasn't what I ordered, the cake had great flavor. The gentlemen working were very friendly. They have seating inside and there were a couple of patrons working on computers and chatting with friends. I ordered my food to go. This is a great little spot. read more

Decided to go to Finjani after a medical appointment in Dublin, looking for something different. Very favorable Yelp reviews helped, and we were not disappointed. The pistachio waffle was unique and awesome! The owner is very passionate about his food and drink offerings, representing various tastes around the world. He will even accommodate your modifications upon request, just try him! My wife had Nutella drizzle added to her pistachio waffle, and she loved it! A coffee has to be inedible for me to give it a 1/5, and unfortunately this one was. The iced pistachio latte looks pretty, but that's the only pro it has. The pistachio flavoring they use tastes very much like chemicals. I assumed it would be similar to the pistachio butter some of the other coffee shops in the area use, but it definitely is not fresh here. Secondly, the taste of coffee does not pull through. I love espresso and I like to taste it in my lattes, but when I received my drink it was very evident that it was not espresso but maybe iced coffee that was added to the top of it. Overall, I would not pay $7.50 for a 16oz drink that effectively doesn't have any caffeine in it again. read more

Instantly felt like I was transported to a different place at Finjani cafe! They specialize in yemini tea, coffee, and other middle eastern desserts. They boil the tea and coffee in a pot after you order so it is freshly made. The adeni tea was a milky black tea and had a strong taste of finjan spices. The mofawar coffee had cardamom and cream-- if you like lattes then you would like this one. The worker explained how yemini coffee usually has milk and honey in it so the flavors are very mild and creamy. The desserts are also delicious! They had a very small selection of savory treats like the spinach pastry, which had dried spinach in a flat bread. They also have a lamb filled savory pastry. The specialty crepe was very decadent, with strawberry and banana wrapped in a long layered crepe and topped with chocolate, lotus sauce, and a lotus biscuit. It's the perfect dessert if you have a sweet tooth! The rose cake was very refreshing Turkish style cake. It is soaked in a milky syrup and topped with light whipped cream. The flavor was very mild and it wasn't too sweet so it's definitely a cake anyone could enjoy! They had lots of indoor seating with middle eastern music playing to set the ambiance. Since they are open until 11pm, it is a fun place to visit with friends and it did get busier around 8-9pm. The workers were all very friendly and efficient as well. read more

It was my first time here and it looked like they just opened recently. The cafe is beautiful and so welcoming. There's plenty of parking outside and a decent amount of various seating inside. I got their Adeni tea in a medium pot ($10), Bee Bites ($4), and a Pistachio cake ($6.67). All of it was absolutely delicious and made well. I really enjoyed their tea, paired with the sweet pastries they offer. I really liked the Bee Bites because they warm it up and drizzle it with honey. The pistachio cake is moist and so flavorful. The Adeni tea was smooth, sweet, and creamy. I enjoyed all of it and would recommend everything. Staff was very very nice and so accommodating! I felt like they cared about their customers and prioritized each customer. I would recommend this cafe for a sweet treat, quality drinks, small groups, and casual hangouts! This place is great! My friends and I met up here to hang for a couple hours and the inside is lovely. I got an oreo frappe and it was the perfect amount of coffee taste and oreo taste, whereas other places I've had frappes that completely lack any coffee taste. The owner took our order and he was very friendly and talkative. Every worker I encountered was nice and seemed happy to be there. My friends enjoyed their teas and milk cake. This is my third Yemeni cafe in the Columbus area and I have to say that it is my new number one pick. The inside is very nicely decorated and cozy but plenty of seating, and even has hand-painted art on the wall. The drinks are made in Middle Eastern-looking cookware, which makes the drinks taste even more special. All of the food looks amazing, hopefully, I can keep coming here to try it all. I tried both the Finjani latte and Qishr tea and both were extremely flavorful. To eat, I got a rose cake and pistachio cake. Start the symphony. I thought they looked good in photos but my mind was blown by how good they were. The Service wasn't bad. It was a man, with what I'm guessing was his son at the register and someone in the back. This cafe needs more staffing because beyond the register there was no service. Customers didn't feel like cleaning after themselves and multiple tables had trays on them. All of the attention was focused on the newly arriving customers, so nobody was able to clean the tables. If this place ever got really busy I can see them running into issues regarding cleaning and dishes. I write this not as a negative aspect but to make the owner aware. At no fault to the cafe, this place is also unfortunately located next to a BMV so parking directly in front can be limited and there can be a line of people standing in front of the cafe. read more
