Standard coffee shop offerings at market-appropriate prices. Their cold brew is delicious, one of the best I've had in the area. I also ordered the egg sandwich and breakfast cookie, which was the perfect amount of food (especially if you share the cookie). I sometimes feel like breakfast sandwiches can be heavy and rather greasy, but this one was quite light! The maple sauce added a nice touch of sweetness too. I believe their breakfast cookie is a best seller and I can see why. Chocolate chips and dried cherries?? Scrumptious and soft! I like the small and minimalist feel of their interior. It feels more hometown instead of a chain. Even with only a few people working, they kept the orders coming at a great speed. I was happy to get my food within minutes. I eyed the cinnamon roll pretty hard, so I look forward to trying that next!

YE Gurl Says: Pink Pistachio Is Breakfast, Coffee, Pastries & a Photoshoot All in One…read more Place: Pink Pistachio Another day, another Yemeni coffee concept with an Instagram twist. Who would've thought the coffee shop wars would eventually become Starbucks vs. Dunkin' vs. Tim Hortons vs. a growing army of Yemeni coffee shops with immaculate branding? And honestly? I'm here for the competition. Pink Pistachio is a New Jersey-born chain bringing together a coffee bar, café sandwiches, French pastries, and plenty of seating--with an Instagram-ready swing set that appears to have been designed specifically for the girlies. This is not just a café. This is an event. I finally stopped in for a to-go order after it had already been open for a while. Walking in, I immediately realized I had apparently missed the memo about the dress code. Everybody was DONE. UP. Girls taking photos. Friend groups gathering. Birthday celebrations happening. Kids running around. People getting their content. And then there was me in casual clothes trying to navigate the crowd for coffee and pastries. The whole thing gave me Los Angeles Cheesecake Factory energy--not the Columbus one. Think breakfast café meets social scene meets "we came here to be seen." And then I saw the fruit-shaped mousse desserts. Oh, they got me. I picked up a couple because apparently my resistance to cute food has limits. What I Got Nutella Latte with Oat Milk -- $10 Sweet, creamy, decadent, and definitely more dessert-like than your average coffee. Ferrero Mousse -- $10 Chocolate-hazelnut indulgence in mousse form. Mango Fruit Mousse -- $10 The visual star of the show and a nice fruity contrast to all that chocolate. But here's where I have to give credit where it's due. The young Black American woman managing the coffee station was WORKING. Orders were flying. She remembered who ordered what. She was delegating. She was directing the other staff when they looked a little lost. And somehow she maintained control of that entire operation. Meanwhile, I received my coffee and two mousse desserts... In plastic containers. Without a bag. For a to-go order. Sir I am going to need you to do better. I had to remind the young man at the counter that perhaps I might need something in which to carry the three things I had just purchased. Hard to find good help these days. That said, after looking more closely at what Pink Pistachio offers, I realized I'd barely scratched the surface. They actually serve breakfast from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., offer coffee, tea, chai, and even mushroom coffee, and operate on a waitlist rather than taking reservations. Which explains a lot. This isn't really a "grab your coffee and leave" kind of café. It's giving: "Meet me there at 11. We're getting breakfast, taking pictures, and nobody knows when we're leaving." YE Gurl Insight: Pink Pistachio may actually be part of the next evolution of the café. The coffee is only one piece. You're buying the atmosphere, the food, the visual experience, the social gathering space, and the opportunity to turn breakfast into an occasion. It's basically the Cheesecake Factory of breakfast cafés. And I mean that as an observation, not necessarily an endorsement. Final Take: **Atmosphere:** **Instagram factor:** **Coffee:** **Pastries/desserts:** **Service execution:** YE Gurl Says: I'm glad I finally experienced Pink Pistachio. But is it my café? Nah. I'm more of a "give me a great cup of coffee, a seat, and let me mind my business" kind of girl. But if you're looking for breakfast + coffee + pastries + birthday celebration + photoshoot + girl time, this may be exactly your bag. Just remember to ask for the bag.
