YE Gurl Says: Pink Pistachio Is Breakfast, Coffee, Pastries & a Photoshoot All in One Place: Pink Pistachio Another day, another Yemeni coffee concept with an Instagram twist. Who would've thought the coffee shop wars would eventually become Starbucks vs. Dunkin' vs. Tim Hortons vs. a growing army of Yemeni coffee shops with immaculate branding? And honestly? I'm here for the competition. Pink Pistachio is a New Jersey-born chain bringing together a coffee bar, café sandwiches, French pastries, and plenty of seating--with an Instagram-ready swing set that appears to have been designed specifically for the girlies. This is not just a café. This is an event. I finally stopped in for a to-go order after it had already been open for a while. Walking in, I immediately realized I had apparently missed the memo about the dress code. Everybody was DONE. UP. Girls taking photos. Friend groups gathering. Birthday celebrations happening. Kids running around. People getting their content. And then there was me in casual clothes trying to navigate the crowd for coffee and pastries. The whole thing gave me Los Angeles Cheesecake Factory energy--not the Columbus one. Think breakfast café meets social scene meets "we came here to be seen." And then I saw the fruit-shaped mousse desserts. Oh, they got me. I picked up a couple because apparently my resistance to cute food has limits. What I Got Nutella Latte with Oat Milk -- $10 Sweet, creamy, decadent, and definitely more dessert-like than your average coffee. Ferrero Mousse -- $10 Chocolate-hazelnut indulgence in mousse form. Mango Fruit Mousse -- $10 The visual star of the show and a nice fruity contrast to all that chocolate. But here's where I have to give credit where it's due. The young Black American woman managing the coffee station was WORKING. Orders were flying. She remembered who ordered what. She was delegating. She was directing the other staff when they looked a little lost. And somehow she maintained control of that entire operation. Meanwhile, I received my coffee and two mousse desserts... In plastic containers. Without a bag. For a to-go order. Sir I am going to need you to do better. I had to remind the young man at the counter that perhaps I might need something in which to carry the three things I had just purchased. Hard to find good help these days. That said, after looking more closely at what Pink Pistachio offers, I realized I'd barely scratched the surface. They actually serve breakfast from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., offer coffee, tea, chai, and even mushroom coffee, and operate on a waitlist rather than taking reservations. Which explains a lot. This isn't really a "grab your coffee and leave" kind of café. It's giving: "Meet me there at 11. We're getting breakfast, taking pictures, and nobody knows when we're leaving." YE Gurl Insight: Pink Pistachio may actually be part of the next evolution of the café. The coffee is only one piece. You're buying the atmosphere, the food, the visual experience, the social gathering space, and the opportunity to turn breakfast into an occasion. It's basically the Cheesecake Factory of breakfast cafés. And I mean that as an observation, not necessarily an endorsement. Final Take: **Atmosphere:** **Instagram factor:** **Coffee:** **Pastries/desserts:** **Service execution:** YE Gurl Says: I'm glad I finally experienced Pink Pistachio. But is it my café? Nah. I'm more of a "give me a great cup of coffee, a seat, and let me mind my business" kind of girl. But if you're looking for breakfast + coffee + pastries + birthday celebration + photoshoot + girl time, this may be exactly your bag. Just remember to ask for the bag. read more

I stopped by Pink Pistachio Café for breakfast and ordered the Mediterranean Omelette, Avocado Toast, and a Strawberry Matcha with oat milk. The Mediterranean Omelette was very good and well-seasoned. The vegetables tasted fresh, and I appreciated that the olives weren't overly salty. The eggs were cooked a little softer than I personally prefer, but the flavor more than made up for it. The Avocado Toast was also tasty, but I wish the bread had been toasted a bit longer. As it sat, it became softer and a little soggy, and I'm definitely not a fan of soggy bread. The avocado itself was fresh and flavorful. My favorite item was the Strawberry Matcha. The strawberry flavor was sweet without being overwhelming, and the oat milk paired perfectly with it. I would absolutely order it again. The atmosphere was adorable. If you love pink, aesthetic cafés, you'll probably enjoy the vibe here. Everything felt bright, pretty, and inviting. The service was excellent. Our server was prompt, attentive, and knowledgeable. My dining companion had never tried a latte before, and I appreciated that the server explained the options without trying to upsell anything. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely return. Good food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere make Pink Pistachio Café worth another visit. read more

This place has been on my list to try. So I made it my number 1 stop when I arrived in Columbus. I was surprised it wasn't very busy for a Friday morning. I asked the waitress if I could be seated by the coffee bar. She brought me menus and water, but she never returned. So I got up and ordered at the bar. I ordered a mango mojito mocktail and a pistachio croissant. The waitress did bring my items to me and apologize. The croissant was huge. It had a very, light pistachio filling. It was a very good croissant. But my favorite thing was the mango mojito mocktail. I had a great mango flavor. It was delicious. The restaurant is very pretty. Was a little disappointed in the service but it didn't take away from my overall experience. read more

I met a friend for Saturday breakfast and were seated as soon as they opened the door. We had a wonderful young woman as our server. Sophia was very personable, knowledgeable and happy to answer our questions. I started with the Pistachio Latte that was the perfect flavor and I enjoyed it very much. I chose the Omelet as my entree. It was so good, served with potatoes and sourdough toast. A sliced avocado was on the plate; I put it on top of the salad. Delicious. They have many pastries and a large selection of hot and cold drinks. It's a really beautifully decorated space. There is a swing for photo ops. Comfortable seating, and plenty of parking. Tip: their crepes, french toast, and pancakes are listed on the menu under desserts. read more

Decor was a pink and floral explosion! If you are looking for a place to take a cute picture, this is it. Went first thing when they opened, so no waiting time. There's not tons of seating so I can see why wait times can be long during peak periods. Shout out to our server Cam, who was full of energy and recommendations. I got the iced pistachio latte, Eggs Benedict, and a peach mouse. The meal was good and my favorite part was the peach mouse. It had large chunks of peach inside to give it a nice freshness. I regretted not getting the Berry Waffles because it was sooo good. I got to take a bite before my friend devoured it. Can't wait to come back to try the lunch/dinner options. Tip: The pastries and desserts options were not at full selection. Not sure if it was because it was first thing in the morning but it was a bummer. Also no online to go orders at the moment read more

Pink Pistachio Cafe is such a cute and aesthetically pleasing spot. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the drinks and food are presented really well. I enjoyed my drink and had a great experience overall. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service. My only downside is the pricing. In my opinion, it's a bit expensive for a coffee shop, with drinks typically costing around $7-$10. While everything looks beautiful and tastes good, it's not somewhere I would personally visit on a regular basis because of the cost. That said, it's definitely a fun place to treat yourself every once in a while and enjoy the atmosphere. read more

A friend and I decided to try Pink Pistachio. We opted to stay on theme and each went with the pistachio latte, her's was hot and mine was Iced. They were both bold, rich, and creamy. I preferred the flavor of the iced option, but you really can't go wrong. We came for the desserts, so I opted for the viral mousse in the coco bean flavor, and she went with the Knafeh crepe with pistachio gelato. The mousse had a light chocolate shell with a vanilla (?) mousse and a coffee soaked cake inside. I feel the mousse was more of a pudding consistency, but it wasn't bad. The crepe, however, stole the show. It was light and fluffy with just enough toppings to keep it from being overly sweet. The pistachio Gelato gave it an extra hint of nutrients that wasn't over the top. read more

Pink Pistachio is a vibrant and hip cafe. The staff were kind and welcoming. The place is full of character and lots of pink (of course); one might describe it as having a European-boho vibe with a sprinkle of lux and elegance. There is a cute little swing for photo ops and the food is certainly insta-worthy. Personally, I would recommend this place for small-group events or special occasions. It is a little more pricey than the average cafe but the food and lattes are delicious and made with some pizzazz. Photos attached for evidence read more

The baked ziti was absolutely amazing and the service was even better thanks to our server, Connor. I will 100% be returning.

TL;DR: Make a reservation immediately. They are pulling 90-120 minute wait times, but the execution makes it worth your patience. Located in a plaza with plenty of parking, this spot has only been open a week but is already operating with a high-end, highly intentional aesthetic. The interior leans into an elevated, glam-feminine vibe that feels incredibly purposeful. We walked into a 2-hour wait, so we opted to order from the cafe and wait on their gorgeous patio. The pistachio latte (with almond milk) and the affogato came to $33 with tip. Both were stellar. The baristas are currently in the trenches with the opening-week volume, but they are crushing it. The Food: * The Highs: The pistachio croissant had proper lamination perfectly flaky and buttery, balanced beautifully by the sweet cream interior. The fruit and yogurt bowl was a massive, refreshing portion that easily justified its price point. The biscoff crepe hit all the right notes, served with an excellent house-made ice cream (though the colorful sprinkles felt a bit disjointed from the elevated plating). The pistachio latte is the real deal. * The Lows: The Mediterranean omelette was a mixed bag. The eggs were executed perfectly, but the vegetables lacked seasoning despite a bright, promising presentation. The side salad arrived undressed, the sourdough toast lacked a proper crunch, and the tomato ratio was overwhelming. The Quirks: They are clearly trying to keep up with bathroom maintenance, but the sheer volume of opening week meant they were out of paper products. Strangely, the bathroom soundtrack is entirely disconnected from the cafe's ambiance--we were surprised to hear explicit club rap playing over the speakers. Verdict: Opening week growing pains are visible, but the culinary foundation is solid. Absolutely worth a return trip. I hope their momentum continues! read more

Pink Pistachio Cafe in Grandview Heights is an upscale, all‑halal, alcohol‑free café that delivers both quality food and excellent service. My sister and I spent about 45 minutes dining here, and I was genuinely impressed that the food stayed hot and fresh the entire time. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken was delicious--crispy, well-seasoned, and served perfectly hot. The Pistachio Latte was a standout and easily one of the best I've had. What makes it special is the pistachio added around the rim of the glass, which enhances both the flavor and presentation. Our server, Ali R, was attentive and consistently checked in to make sure we were doing well without being intrusive. The rest of the staff also regularly checked on guests, which added to the welcoming and professional atmosphere. Overall, the food quality, unique drinks, and attentive service made this a great dining experience. I would absolutely return and highly recommend Pink Pistachio Cafe to anyone looking for a high-quality café in the Columbus area. read more

A very loud restaurant with selfie addicted patrons. The food is fine, the serivce is a bit slow. You are only permitted 90 minutes at your table. We were finished eating within an hour, the service took up almost tallhe rest of the time. The biggest problem is with the policies for payment. They will only split a check four ways, leaving larger parties to double up and pay each other. There is a 12% fee that is added to every check with no noticication until the actual check is presented for payment. Our party decducted that amount from the tip provided to the server. We will think twice before returning, if ever. read more

This place had so much potential, but no. The space is adorable and the server was very sweet, wanting to meet our needs, but the manager kept overruling them. It was uncomfortable and made the entire experience very unpleasant. One of us had eggs benedict that were good. Another had avocado toast and the avocado was dark and brown around the edges while the toast was dry and stiff. One of us had hoped for scrambled eggs, but they won't serve them even though there are omelets on the menu. Also, watch for the service fee. It's stated but confusing. It's in addition to any tip. Great for an Instagram photo shoot, but that's it. read more

Ambiance is great. Very pretty. They could use some sound dampening on walls or ceiling as it is excessively loud. Food was good. Pricing seems high plus they add a 12% service fee for dining in on top of total before tip. I guess it's good for people who don't dine in. Adding it in across all their sales they could pay their staff themselves. This seems like a more approachable pricing solution and wouldn't put off customers. I can see that if your prices are high already it's a way to get around the perceived pricing issue. $9 for a virgin mojito plus 12% is out of line for me. I will not be returning but wish them all the luck. read more

Went here Saturday 8/22/26 with my girlfriend. We arrived at 11am, just walked in no reservation. Got seated right away. The place is SUPER CUTE!! The wait staff, atmosphere & food were EXCELLENT!!! The vibe was so relaxed & cool. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich on sourdough bread with fries & coleslaw...YUM!! My friend had the fried chicken sandwich & fries, also YUM!! We didn't get desert because we were stuffed. I highly recommend this gem. Be sure to take pictures on the swing and/or by the tree!! Will definitely be back!! read more

very kind staff and great service, but this is what i would call an "instagram restaurant" which is nice if you enjoy frilly, pink, floral murals and neon signs made for cute brunch photos, but not if you enjoy eating and tasting(!) food. our drinks were pretty but bland, and i fought to give my burger a chance, but it tasted like paint. which makes me sad because i hate wasting food. and their playlist (consisting of purely pop covers) was short and restarted within 45 minutes of us eating there. idk why but i found that distracting. not a good sensory experience for me all around. but again, if you like taking pictures more than you like eating or drinking or listening to music, knock yourself out. this is a generous 3. read more

- drinks are incredibly overpriced, paid 6$ for less than 6 ounces of hot tea which tasted like ground up flowers. The chai tasted like hot pistachio water not chai. There are many drink options but so many limitations (no ice, no milk, no special requirements) - my water had a hair in it that was not my own. - food is overpriced and they were out of literally everything. They market as a cafe but do not serve any dishes with eggs past 3pm despite staying open much later than this. We had three sandwiches with chicken and they had such little chicken on them half of the sandwich was just bread. - atmosphere is horrible. From the outside it looks cute and Instagram influencer style but it's LOUD inside with no noise control. The tables are incredibly small you will bump into the people you are sitting with. The waiters are inattentive and don't know what is available and what is not. - the checks can only be split four ways so make sure you don't come with too many friends. 12% gratuity is added but not mentioned upon arrival or at checkout unless you notice so do not tip even when they ask. Overall incredibly disappointing experience, do not come here, this place is definitely one of those in and out of business quickly kind of restaurants read more

Disorganized. Very loud and music on top of it that you could barely hear. Didn't clear the table of menus and as we finished dishes. Served coke in bottle with a straw. Waitress seemed confused. The 12 percent fee was ridiculous for cooks bus people but not for waitstaff. We weren't told a head of time so we did not leave a tip. Food was ok but over priced. Will not go back. read more

While I realize they are still getting started at this location, there's several things that just didn't sit right with my group when we went here. First of all, the 12% dine in fee was a bit ridiculous, especially since they didn't give us an option when we walked in the door. Then on top of that you still are expected to tip your server, so basically around 32% additional fees. Other than that the food was pretty good and the aesthetic of the place was pretty unique. I'd just say if you go, maybe skip out on dining in if you're not planning on spending too much? read more

Giving a neutral review since it's my first time, they are the new kid in the block and I did a to go order. What I ordered: Mediterranean Omelet (the host said it's one of the most popular dishes) & a hot Rosella Tea. -Omelette was tomato heavy. I wish it had a sauce of sorts to drizzle. Had to add pepper and hot sauce as it was a bit bland. Overall a pretty basic dish. The sourdough was delicious! -Tea was good. You can only order teas hot (outside of matcha and chai). I didn't get honey that I asked for but the barista was learning and new. Price/Time: I wet during lunch time at 12pm and didn't wait long. 2 items was 23 dollars.... Likely will not go often due to the price or I find something I am in love with. read more

I don't care how delicious anything is, if you charge 12% to sit down and expect a 20% tip that's 32% expense before you factor in the overpriced food and drinks. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Pink Pistachio was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to share it. The wait time was excessive. I was at the cafe for nearly two hours, and it took over 30 minutes just to receive a single latte. When my drink finally arrived, it wasn't even what I ordered. I asked for a pistachio latte and was served a mango mojito instead. After waiting that long, it was incredibly frustrating to receive the wrong item. I also ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, which unfortunately did not live up to expectations. The sandwich had far more breading than chicken, and the breading itself wasn't particularly crispy. When I eventually received my pistachio latte, the quality was disappointing. There were hard coffee grounds and large chunks of pistachio throughout the drink, which made it unpleasant to drink. What stood out most was the lack of attentiveness from the staff. Several employees appeared more interested in talking amongst themselves and using their phones than assisting customers. The overall atmosphere gave the impression that customer service was not a priority. At one point, the manager appeared to be seated and using her phone while customers were waiting for orders, which did not inspire confidence that service issues were being addressed. I also noticed sanitation concerns. There appeared to be fruit flies around my table, and I saw ants in the restroom. Regardless of the cause, these are issues that should be addressed promptly in a food service establishment. Additionally, there were children running around the dining area without much supervision, which added to the overall sense of disorder. I understand that every business has busy days, and mistakes happen. However, considering the prices being charged, I expected a much higher level of service, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Customers should not feel like an inconvenience when they are paying for a product and experience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and focuses on improving operations, customer service, and cleanliness moving forward. read more
