I met a friend for Saturday breakfast and were seated as soon as they opened the door. We had a wonderful young woman as our server. Sophia was very personable, knowledgeable and happy to answer our questions. I started with the Pistachio Latte that was the perfect flavor and I enjoyed it very much. Decor was a pink and floral explosion! If you are looking for a place to take a cute picture, this is it. Went first thing when they opened, so no waiting time. There's not tons of seating so I can see why wait times can be long during peak periods. Shout out to our server Cam, who was full of energy and recommendations. We came for the desserts, so I opted for the viral mousse in the coco bean flavor, and she went with the Knafeh crepe with pistachio gelato. A very loud restaurant with selfie addicted patrons. The food is fine, the serivce is a bit slow. You are only permitted 90 minutes at your table. We were finished eating within an hour, the service took up almost tallhe rest of the time. The biggest problem is with the policies for payment. They will only split a check four ways, leaving larger parties to double up and pay each other. There is a 12% fee that is added to every check with no noticication until the actual check is presented for payment. Our party decducted that amount from the tip provided to the server. I was at the cafe for nearly two hours, and it took over 30 minutes just to receive a single latte. When my drink finally arrived, it wasn't even what I ordered. I asked for a pistachio latte and was served a mango mojito instead. After waiting that long, it was incredibly frustrating to receive the wrong item. I also noticed sanitation concerns. There appeared to be fruit flies around my table, and I saw ants in the restroom. Additionally, there were children running around the dining area without much supervision, which added to the overall sense of disorder.
