It looks like this coffee shop just opened and there is a drive thru. Pricing is a little expensive for breakfast. We got 2 sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches in English muffins and two drip coffees for about $25. The sandwiches were huge and flavorful but the English muffin was pretty hard on the top. The coffee was the medium roast, I found it strong and could have used more cream to balance it out. Service was nice and the pretty quick. I didn't go inside but we will be back next time we're in the area. Overall, cute little coffee shop!

This was my first time visiting Grumpy's for lunch. Their chicken sandwich came out hot, with sautéed red bell peppers, onions, melted cheese, crispy lettuce, and a soft, toasted bun. The chicken was savory and tender. Talking about comfort food, this sandwich was perfectly made. The kicker on the chicken sandwich was the cilantro ranch dressing The staff were very polite and welcoming. I love the overall vibe and the food. Breakfast is even better.. try their giant cinnamon rolls. They're top notch. The drink menu is extensive and amazing. Will definitely be coming back!

I really enjoyed the style of this diner, such a throwback to old school clientele, and had such a nostalgic feel to it. I remember my dad taking my brother and I to spots like this in Oklahoma growing up, and thought it was just right to take my son here and not just enjoy some quality time with my son, but to enjoy some breakfast. Now we didn't order anything fancy, honestly, I wasn't really hungry, so I ordered the Avocado toast, and my son had the oatmeal bowl. To be honest, I really like how simple this food was, but in all truth, how really delicious it was too. The eggs were cooked just how I like them, the fresh taste of the avocado was on point. My son enjoyed his oatmeal and brown sugar. The young man waiting our table (Logan), was a good kid, quick to take our order, quick on the coffee, and extremely polite. No doubt the manager knows, that kid is a keeper. The establishment was very clean, and just had a clean shine to it. Best part was just enjoying time with my son, and showing him how important that family time really is. Will we come back, no question we will.

Our waitress handled it professionally and apologized right away, saying she would get the manager. The manager never came to our table. Instead, we were given a $7.50 discount, but no one offered to remake her meal or make things right. That's basic customer service, and it didn't happen. I still paid my bill and left a 30% tip because the issue wasn't the waitress, she did her job. The problem was management. Based on how this was handled, we won't be returning, and I'll be sharing this experience with others. Customers deserve better than being ignored.

Charming decor and friendly staff. However, my experience was ruined due to an error on my take out order. I placed an order for three additional meals with an add on order of sausages. Easy, right? I initially thought so, so I wasn't concerned about my order being incorrect. I get home and my order is missing main items like pancakes, french toast, utensils, and it looked as if the order was just slapped together. I call immediately and I explained that I just had an eaten there and then ordered additional takeout and my takeout order was incorrect. The nice young lady apologized and offered to have it remade. Now I accepted that and also stated since I have to come back up there what other compensation can you provide me. She then transfers me to the incredibly Customer Service oriented manager named Juan. I do hope you can sense the sarcasm. As I explained my situation to him stating what items have been missed, what was wrong with the order and what I expected ask a reasonable solution to this situation. He then goes on and asked me several questions over and over again about the takeout meal, I explained to him one more time to which he cut me off, overtalked me, and really wasn't listening to resolve my issue. When he asked again what I ordered I said I already told you. At which point, he cursed and said he did not want to be "a$$ hole" and basically gave me the impression that he was unwilling to fix this situation. So I told him I was going to speak to him in a nicer tone that he was talking to me that I wanted him to remake the meal. I would be there in 10 minutes and I would like it piping hot. To Juan's credit my food was ready once I arrived however, he proceeds to tell me that his waitress and his expediter both checked the order and it was correct when it left. Which wasn't true obviously. As a matter of fact, my friend said she watched the waitress grab the bag and didn't open it and just came to the table. I don't have a reason to go get free food from an establishment where I've already paid and tipped the server. Second of all he indirectly called me a liar to my face, which is poor service in its own right. Thirdly, when I asked what other compensation he was willing to provide me, he just simply smiled and said no he wasn't going to do anything. Juan needs to go back to the beginning of where Customer Service starts in order to be a better front of the house manager, because when your server makes an error, you own it you do not place the blame back on the customer. Juan needs to be retrained on how to actually service people, he does not know how to talk to anyone. He did not know how to de-escalate the situation. I have been in Customer Service for 25 years and 15 of those have been working in an escalation department that was the worst interaction I believe I have ever encountered with a manager to resolve a situation. I mean Wendy's resolved issues better than this. Being that this was my first time coming to Delaney's, it will also be my last time. Because if you treat any customers the way you treated me, is clear he has no respect for the patrons of this establishment.

I had been to the near University of Cincinnati and was happy with my experience, so I wanted to try it again. First off, I appreciated that I was able to park for free during the day on the same block. That was a convenience that I didn't expect in this area. It was almost closing time on a weekday, as I came in about 1pm for lunch (but was craving breakfast food!). There were several tables occupied, but I was able to get seated right away. I was greeted with a smile and an inviting tone as I walked in and seated promptly. I was between several items- the omelette and french toast both sounded amazing, but I wasn't too hungry, so I opted for the angry egg, which is two eggs, toast, and "hoe" fries (see: HangOverEasy), which are breakfast potatoes. I thought about ordering iced coffee as I do love some iced coffee, but opted for the Old Fashioned Cold Brew, which is an old-fashioned with a slight bit of cold brew in there. The drink was out in a jiffy and the food wasn't too long of a wait either. The old-fashioned tasted good and it was reasonably priced. I could've just gone for iced coffee and probably will sometime, but how often do I drink whiskey with my breakfast? Probably never? So why not? The food was great. It was a reasonable portion on a regular-sized plate, which is just what I was looking for. For the price, it felt more than worth it. I also ordered "breakfast protein" on the side, which was an additional upcharge, but I REALLY APPRECIATE that the vegetarian protein was equal in price to the meat! Being vegetarian, I'm always looking for these little things. And the vegetarian protein tasted great! Considering the friendly service, the great vibe and feel of the place, and the good food and drink, I'd 100% return here. It's one of those place I'd recommend to a friend and even bring them here.

The galaxy-themed decor is such a vibe -- very 70s retro with bright colors, laid-back energy, and a fun but casual feel. My daughter ordered the egg and cheese sandwich, and I love that it comes with avocado. We shared the Big Ol' Pancake, and since the kids couldn't decide on a flavor, our waiter suggested fresh blueberries and chocolate chips on the side so everyone was happy. That kind of flexibility stood out. I ordered the breakfast burger. I was on the fence at first, but the description of the house-made English muffin completely sold me -- and I didn't regret it at all. It came with a side of perfectly roasted potatoes . I also had the cold brew martini sweetened with maple, which was smooth with just the right touch of sweetness. My husband ordered a beer on tap and loved it. He also had the Hermes Loaded Hash and was a fan. We arrived about 20 minutes before closing, and the staff was overly accommodating without making us feel rushed. That says a lot. They also have a private room available to rent for $50, which I'd absolutely consider for a small gathering. This is a casual, easy breakfast spot I'd definitely return to -- especially if I'm in the area or don't mind driving a little out of my way for good food and a relaxed atmosphere.
