We were in the area and looking for a new coffee shop to try out. This popped up as suggested and…read morethe location was close. The building is awesome. It's an old house and the inside is super cute. The actual coffee shop is in the garage so they open the garage door cuz it was a gorgeous day outside. The pastries all looked delicious. The ham and cheese quiche was so good. I asked if they had any sugar free syrups. They had vanilla and caramel so I had them add both to an iced latte. It was really good. My husband opted for one of the house drinks, called the White House. It was delicious as well. Wanted to try the breakfast bagels but they were all out since it was later in the afternoon. Once they are gone they are gone for the day. The quiche was delicious though. We will just have to try other things next time. The cinnamon roll was awesome too! We will be back.

Decided to give them another try and I left so disappointed. The customer service was not the best…read more They weren't super busy when I got there - just steady flow of customers coming in and out. I did have to wait to place my order but it wasn't too bad. The cashier was not warm whatsoever. I ordered two drinks and two pastries, scones to be exact. My drinks took a little over 10 minutes to be ready (which was not bad given how busy they were) but I still hadn't received my pastries. What was frustrating was that people who ordered after me HEATED pastries had already gotten their orders yet I hadn't received mines that just needed to be bagged? I kindly told the cashier I was still waiting for my scones and I could tell she had clearly forgotten about them. She shortly gave them to me with no apology for the delay or anything. When I got home, one of the scones I had ordered was the wrong flavor. They were also extremely dry. If you're in a rush, be mindful that the pour over coffee takes a little longer to make. I am completely dissatisfied with the service today. I might give their other location a try but this one is a no for me.

We went to Provisions three times during a three-day visit to Lancaster. That probably tells you…read morewhere this review is headed. Visit #1 was supposed to be "just coffee." Visit #2 was lunch with five adults and two kids. I had the turkey Reuben, which was awesome. Anjelina had the chicken salad, and the rest of the group worked their way around the menu. Everything was good, and the service handled our larger group well. Visit #3 was breakfast. Anjelina and I both went with the avocado toast, hers on gluten-free bread and mine straight up. Both were very good. But one of the biggest reasons Provisions gets high marks from us is how seriously they take food allergies. We travel with our usual collection of dietary complications: Anjelina has gluten and dairy issues, while I bring a tree-nut allergy and Alpha-Gal to the party, plus the diabetes kicker. Provisions was VERY allergy-conscious. They understood the issues, changed gloves before preparing food for someone with an allergy, and generally acted like food allergies were something to manage carefully rather than an inconvenience. That matters. Now, about those baked goods... Outstanding. I tried the pumpkin brown sugar cookie and the apple hand pie. Both were excellent. Anjelina got the gluten-free oatmeal cookie sandwich -- twice. And I have to admit something that pains me slightly: the gluten-free oatmeal cookie sandwich won. Both times. The atmosphere is open, casual and energetic. It has a good vibe, although when it gets busy the room can get pretty loud. It worked great for our family lunch, would be an easy choice for a casual business meal, and definitely works for anything from a coffee date to a relaxed breakfast or lunch date. Three visits in three days: coffee, lunch and breakfast. Provisions delivered every time. And apparently I now have to live with the knowledge that the gluten-free cookie was better than mine.

A girlfriend and I met up for lunch at Provisions this past Monday and had a great time! She…read morerecommended Provisions as it's one of her favorite local lunch spots! Her recommendation did not disappoint! Everything about Provisions is cute - the ambiance, the decor, the staff, etc! I loved that they were having St. Patrick's Day specials in lieu of St. Patrick's Day when we were there so I went with both specials. I ordered a hot Irish Cream Latte and the Reuben. The Irish Cream Latte was SO good! It was creamy and sweet! It was topped off with green whipped cream and sprinkles which was super cute! The Reuben was good too, but super messy! I ended up forking and knifing it! The corned beef was super tasty and tender! I guess all sandwiches come with either a bag of chips or a fruit bowl option! I wish I had known that beforehand as I thought that only chips were available. My girlfriend got the fruit bowl and it looked like a decent size of fresh fruit! She also got the Club Sandwich which she said was her favorite! I definitely want to come back again (especially with my daughter)! They have so many coffee, pastry, sandwich, and salad options available that I'm sure my daughter would enjoy Provisions too! Other notes: - Complimentary glasses of water are available! - Both sides of the restaurant are covered with a wine wall ranging from dry to sweet wines! Opportunity: - When ordering sandwiches, please let the customer know that they have the option to grab a bag of chip or fruit bowl.

The barista was helpful and kind, and the coffee was delicious. As I was just stopping in by coffee I did not know it had such pottery options--how cool! There are multiple stations set up throughout the shop where you can paint pottery while visiting with friends or sipping on your coffee. A pretty delightful concept! There is just one size of coffee available for iced, and one size for hot drinks. I did think it was a bit expensive for the one drink (6.40 for a hot flavored latte), but it was well made and delicious! You do have to ask the barista for a key to the bathrooms, but the bathrooms were well stocked and especially clean!
