Black Friday ceramic painting with the family. This is the foundation of a Christmas Pickle.

Began to plan this family event over Thanksgiving 2022. Excellent walk in downtown Lancaster, great spot for coffee, and quality family time. Great for small groups or large families. Kids and adults. Beginners or experts. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful with all questions. Be sure to check out the non-standard paint selection. The coffee is delicious and not over priced.

I didn't realize this was also a pottery place. I came here on a date just for coffee, not pottery, so I thought this might not have been the best location for a date after the fact. I think it would be more fun to bring kids or a friend. As far as the drinks, I got an iced chai tea latte. All the syrup was at the bottom. Even after stirring it was the worst chai tea latte I've ever had. The art is cool to look at though.

Absolutely fantastic coffee shop, with all the bells and whistles of classic good vibes. Walk in, coffee shop on the left side of the long room; pottery DIY shop on the right (see pics!). In the front case, there's several chocolate-covered-goodies! Yes, Kelly makes a point to source everything from Ohio. Coffee and espresso beans are from Stauf's. Chocolates are homemade from a family business in Amish country. I got two buckeyes - they're more on the smaller size - $.85 total. They were pure indulgence. The milk chocolate began to melt in my fingers within 30 seconds. Dreamy! Great PB taste [side note: I dislike ANY establishment that sells buckeye candies that only taste sugar; no REAL creamy peanut butter taste = no business from moi!] I can't comment on the coffee part. However, I love the smell of coffee shops, and this joint's a winner. The arches are such a neat feature (yes, they were there when the owners bought/moved in 7 years ago). It does justice dividing the space. Lots and lots of bright colors! A comfy seating nook up by the front windows - perfect for people watching, wording on your writing or sketching, or meeting an acquaintance to chat and catch up.

The vibe is artsy and relaxed with comfy mismatched furniture and art everywhere, not to mention people painting pottery.

A girlfriend and I met up for lunch at Provisions this past Monday and had a great time! She…read morerecommended Provisions as it's one of her favorite local lunch spots! Her recommendation did not disappoint! Everything about Provisions is cute - the ambiance, the decor, the staff, etc! I loved that they were having St. Patrick's Day specials in lieu of St. Patrick's Day when we were there so I went with both specials. I ordered a hot Irish Cream Latte and the Reuben. The Irish Cream Latte was SO good! It was creamy and sweet! It was topped off with green whipped cream and sprinkles which was super cute! The Reuben was good too, but super messy! I ended up forking and knifing it! The corned beef was super tasty and tender! I guess all sandwiches come with either a bag of chips or a fruit bowl option! I wish I had known that beforehand as I thought that only chips were available. My girlfriend got the fruit bowl and it looked like a decent size of fresh fruit! She also got the Club Sandwich which she said was her favorite! I definitely want to come back again (especially with my daughter)! They have so many coffee, pastry, sandwich, and salad options available that I'm sure my daughter would enjoy Provisions too! Other notes: - Complimentary glasses of water are available! - Both sides of the restaurant are covered with a wine wall ranging from dry to sweet wines! Opportunity: - When ordering sandwiches, please let the customer know that they have the option to grab a bag of chip or fruit bowl.

Nothing fancy, no gimmicks--just a classic donut shop that focuses on doing things right. We ended up going with a nice mix: two glazed donuts, two blueberry cake donuts, a long john, and a half dozen donut holes. Everything was fresh, soft, and had that perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture. The glazed donuts were light and classic, the blueberry cake had a great flavor without being too heavy, and the long john was filled just right. Even the donut holes were hard to stop eating. You can tell these are made with care, not mass-produced. It all tasted like it was made that morning. What I really liked is how simple and straightforward it is. Walk in, pick what you want, and you're out the door with something that just hits the spot. Service was friendly and quick, and the whole place has that old-school neighborhood vibe that's getting harder to find. Overall, if you're in Lancaster and want a solid donut--this is your spot. Brian's Tip: Go early. The best selection goes fast, and once people know about this place, those trays don't stay full for long.

My favorite is the Long John's with delectable cream inside and chocolate covered icing on inside. All doughnuts are A+ and mouth watering. I have gone for years.
