Stopped by Donut World in Lancaster and this is exactly the kind of place you hope to find when…read moreyou're craving donuts. Nothing fancy, no gimmicks--just a classic donut shop that focuses on doing things right. We ended up going with a nice mix: two glazed donuts, two blueberry cake donuts, a long john, and a half dozen donut holes. Everything was fresh, soft, and had that perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture. The glazed donuts were light and classic, the blueberry cake had a great flavor without being too heavy, and the long john was filled just right. Even the donut holes were hard to stop eating. You can tell these are made with care, not mass-produced. It all tasted like it was made that morning. What I really liked is how simple and straightforward it is. Walk in, pick what you want, and you're out the door with something that just hits the spot. Service was friendly and quick, and the whole place has that old-school neighborhood vibe that's getting harder to find. Overall, if you're in Lancaster and want a solid donut--this is your spot. Brian's Tip: Go early. The best selection goes fast, and once people know about this place, those trays don't stay full for long.

Answer: Yes! The prices were a bit steep for the size of the cupcake, but I liked that they offered mini and full size treats. They had a wide assortment of flavors including seasonal. My favorite was the raspberry merlot seasonal. I tried a mini which was the perfect bite with a blend of raspberry filling and chocolate ganache. I loved how all of the cupcakes had some type of surprise middle, like the unexpected ball of cookie dough in the middle of the chocolate chip cookie dough. I want to go back and try the cake pops and the frosted sugar cookies but definitely a great cupcake experience.

This place definitely does not disappoint!

Had to try the corned beef reuben hot with sauerkraut, Swiss, and Thousand Island on rye. Delivered as you can see in the picture. Potato salad side was creamy and didn't have the bullshit filler that sometimes degrades potato salad. And the potatoes weren't mush, they were crisp. I got the Supreme to go and it held up 7 hours later for dinner. Roasted beef, fresh mozzarella, and onions with optional bacon added. Bread was soft but again, not mush. My dining companion got the Hot One ie pepperoni, hot cappicola, provolone, Tabasco, deli dressing with added banana peppers. He thanked me for doing some homework and finding this place on our way through Circleville coming from an event at Deer Creek State Park. Conveniently located right on the main drag of Circleville with ample free street parking plus a parking lot for the store. Four tables inside. Only regret is we didn't try the cannoli which is supposed to be first rate. Was great to meet Richie - we will be back next time passing through Circleville.
