Missed out on taking pictures, but we visited coffee on high as part of the coffee crawl, and it was definitely our favorite place of all of the coffee crawl places!! Their menu (Food, drinks, desserts) is quite extensive! I got the French press, my fiancé a pour over and espresso shot, and my sister the French toast latte. The drinks were all high quality and the espresso was one of the best we've had in Columbus! I also ordered the chicken pot pie soup (I could have had 5 bowls, it was crazy delicious), and my sister got a half grilled cheese...which I took a few bites of and just loved. The service was exceptional as well, everyone was super kind and patient. The space is large and great to hang out in- I noticed a nice selection of board games, but as we came in at the last hour they were open, we didn't try any of the games. This is a quaint small restaurant. The food was good, except the tomato on my club sandwich was green.

LOVE Coffee on High! The food has been amazing every single time I've visited. A few personal faves are the breakfast sandwich, French toast casserole, grilled cheese panini and tomato soup. The bakery case has amazing gluten free options. I'm not gluten free, but they taste like the regular thing. I like to pick these up when I am having guests over who are gluten free. Sweet P's lemon blueberry coffee cake is on another level. Also love Cam's cake pops! The staff is ALWAYS very friendly, and I love the quaint space and location. Forever fan! read more

I wanted coffee. My husband offered to take me to a shop. When he asked where do you want to go I said surprised me. Well we ended up in Canal Winchester at Coffee on High. This is a cute store inside an historic block. There is no patio or outside seating which posed a problem for us, as we also brought our puppy. Husband took one for the team and held the puppy outside, while I ordered coffee. Its a narrow shop. One side of store has a long counter where you queue up and the other side has a single row of tables. Oddly, there are signs all over the"don't move the tables. I felt that was really weird --but maybe they had repeat problems? They have a very nice selection of baked goods. Some gluten free even! I chose a few iced shortbreads (gorgeous and delicious, recommend them. So good) and ordered a cortado and a pumpkin spice latte. The cortado was served in much too large of a cup. Husband said it was "alright" which is code for he would have preferred something else. My pumpkin spice latte was ordered half sweet- and it still was way too sugary but jet it had a really nice flavor. However the cookies... they were a home run. They use almond flavoring. So if you are allergic to almonds might want avoid this option. Not sure if its true almond or artificial but had a delicious almond flavor. If we had not had the dog, we would have for sure had breakfast there. They seem to be popular for that. Although, reading the menu is difficult- smushed together on a wall and very hard to read. I learned they have only been there since May. So, they seem to have a few kinks to work out still but pretty nice place. I would return. Why three stars: Took forever to get the coffees Cortado (a tiny cuban coffee) was in a huge cup... creates a weird balance. Latte was much too sweet. Couldn't easily read food menu. The many "don't move furniture signs" But has so much potential and staff was nice. read more

We have been to Coffee on High twice now.! We absolutely love this coffee shop! I have added some quick notes below: - Both times we have stopped by, there has been a line out the door - they are always poppin! - They always have great music playing in the shop! They have couches and board/card games too so I always find it nice to grab a seat and play a board game with my daughter while also enjoying the music and sipping on my coffee. - They have a wide variety of foods and desserts from breakfast foods to deli sandwiches to gourmet salads to fluffy muffins. The list goes on and on. The portion sizes are pretty huge too! We have gotten the biscuits and gravy, cinnamon roll, and a biscuit sandwich. - They have a cute cooler full of cool desserts (I saw some cheesecake and other goodies during our last visit). - They also serve Perry's Ice Cream. We absolutely love Coffee on High and are so happy that it has become part of our CW community! read more

I rarely write reviews, but this place deserves it! My iced americano with cream was perfect & smooth, & my dad's pumpkin shaken espresso was delicious too- I wanted both! Still looking for a go-to coffee shop for casual meetings. This is a little coffee shop in downtown Canal Street Winchester. It was very busy and it took quite a while to get a mocha and regular coffee out but they tasted great. Will be back... but I'm still on the hunt for a regular haunt. Note: just edited my review to five stars after receiving an after hours response from the owner. It takes a lot of class to demonstrate value for what a customer is looking for, even if it doesn't appear that they are finding it at your biz and a rapid response like that is always worth another star... wish I could give two. read more

The Wife and I went to Coffee on High this AM. The cinnamon roll was bland and flavorless and the cinnamon muffin was dry and tasted like licking the cinnamon spice shaker. Add on a cold brew not served over ice and a forgettable drip coffee for $18 all together. Do better if you want to be at this price point!
