This is a busy busy busy location, we like it anyway. Stuck here for 8 hours of webinars due to the WiFi installer blowing yesterday's appointment at our home (look for that review, coming up). These baristas are gifted and work together like the well oiled machine. Adam has the ability to explain how the operation works, as he's making three different drinks, all while answering stupid Boomer questions. This guy's gold. Is it common to have only 8 people sit in the building in a 4 hour time span, yet churn out over 100 orders? That's just inside. They have a steady drive-thru, too. This site is smaller than most with only half a dozen tables. But at least it's not in a grocery store and their WiFi was easy to find and sign-on to. This location is a BUSYY BUSY location on Sunday. Drive-Thru was wrapped to the street.. So i went inside instead and the lobby was packed. I commend the ladies who were working the day i only seen some of the name tags. (ROCK...) the rest of her name was rubbed off. (KIMMMEE..... LEAH?) maybe but these ladies were amazing throughout the pressure off getting people their orders as fast as they could even dealing with their attitudes. IDK why people think ordering 8 drinks and food and seeing your busy and expect their order in 3 mins. Absolutely madness. These ladies and whoever else work this location need a raise... it took about five minutes for the workers to acknowledge me and my sister even existing, it took her an additional two minutes to even load up the computer that she had turned off. Once she was finally ready to take my order, I started to speak and they told me that they didn't have it in stock with a snarky remark. My sister ordered a Frappuccino and it tasted like chocolate syrup and salt blended in a blender, but not even completely blended. What the flip flop is even going on here? I Go to this Starbucks almost every morning. There is typically a long line during prime times (around 8am), lunchtime, and evening (especially during buy one get one free days). I think they circulate who staffs at this location. But the common staff really becomes familiar with you and they're personable. Things to think about: - Their drive thru/parking lot situation is a bit inconvenient but it doesn't stop me from going. - consider using the mobile app to order ahead (especially during days with great deals). The line here is always very long. But it is usually worth the wait. The staff is polite. However they do mess up staple orders on occasion. No coffee spot should EVER give an iced coffee in place of a cold brew coffee if . It's just insulting. They do right their wrongs. But simple orders like a vanilla sweet cream cold brew coffee, an a cafe vanilla Frappuccino should not be apart of the orders that get messed up. The only reason this doesn't have 5 stars. Normally I don't have a bad experience at this location. However, the service team this morning was very rude. They got our order wrong then got mad at the window that we asked for the drink to be remade. When handed the first drink there was hair in it so I handed the cup back to be thrown away. The woman at the window in a white and black flannel was trying to argue me down about not taking the cup back then displayed a rude and nasty attitude. This has been my Starbucks location for the past six years. The staff here are always super friendly and kind. Some are so friendly that they get carried away in their conversations with their drive-thru customers which ends up holding up the drive-thru line. I know as I have been one of those customers at the window and one of those customers in the long line. My only complaint about this location is the drive-thru line. On a good day, I might be able to get through the drive-thru within five to ten minutes. On a bad day, I am waiting for at least thirty minutes. I guess I am the crazy one as I am the one who is willing to sit there for thirty minutes, right? (At least that's what my husband tells me). My go-to's are the caramel macchiato, the toasted white chocolate mocha, and a doppio expresso in a venti cup of ice (I pour a Premier Protein shake in it to get both my coffee/caffeine and protein in for breakfast). I also love the ham and swiss croissant; however, it has been unavailable for the past month or so. I am unsure as to whether it has been discontinued or what. Ordered 6 drinks and 2 food items. The drink were alright, chestnut praline is pretty good to me ngl but they messed up one of the food items. The sandwich was correct but they messed up on the croissant. How in the world do you get a cream cheese danish and a croissant mixed up when the label was on the bag, saying chocolate croissant, but you decide to put in a danish??? Good job! You're a business and there is no excuse to ever run out of items so when customers come in to buy something we shouldn't be told "Oh sorry we are out of that." That is unacceptable! This has happened more than once to me and I'm sick of you Starbucks running out of things. This same store during the winter time ran out of apple juice so when I tried to order a hot Carmel Apple drink, I couldn't always get it because twice I was told they were out of apple juice. Today at this same store, I tried to order a Blueberry Black Tea iced Lemonade and was told "Oh sorry we ran out of blueberry." Seriously?! Also two days ago at another Starbucks down in Kings Island, I was told they ran out of venti cups then later on the same day was told they were out of black tea. Come on Starbucks keep your inventory stocked! There is no excuse for running out of inventory including cups! I've never been to a McDonald's and told "Oh sorry we ran out of hamburgers or fries." I've never called a pizza place to order a pizza and been told "Oh sorry we ran out of dough or cheese or pepperoni." So Starbucks GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER and start making sure you have enough inventory of cups and ingredients to make your products that are on your menus! I went here to buy some blueberry scones. The store is clean and nice. I needed at least 6 of them. I asked them how many they had. They had 1 of them that was thawed out and available. I asked them how many frozen ones they could sell me. They said they would not sell me any frozen ones due to it being store policy because it is a a health problem/violation. I said so you're telling me that all of the grocery stores that sell millions of pounds of frozen food everyday are guilty of health violations? Their only response was that it was store policy. I said you're telling me that Starbucks doesn't want to sell product and make money? I think the chairman of Starbucks would be surprised to learn of this. Conversely I have gone to a different Starbucks and purchased 23 frozen blueberry scones. Avoid the Starbucks in Canal Winchester. I enjoy an overpriced frappe once and a while. I typically only get one maybe two different types of drinks from star bucks. The only true issues I have with star bucks is the wait and the price. I hate that I always have like a 10 min wait and the price is way and I mean way too high. As far as the quality I got a good white chocolate frappé. Correctly blended and no ice chunks. It was smooth and creamy with a slight chill. I come here maybe a few times a year and will keep coming back as long as the price doesn't go up. read more

So I'm not really a big Starbucks fan. I typically prefer to shop Harvest Moon or other small coffee shops. However, Starbucks drive through is so convenient and the staff is always great. Normally I have kids in the car so a drive through is awesome. I also bought their organic Yukon blend beans and I'm loving it. Just opened my third bag. I brew it one table spoon per cup instead of their recommended 2 T per cup. Organic coffee is a must because the strong pesticide usage when growing the beans. I wish they brewed organic there for the days that I just don't have time to brew my own. Gave only 4 stars since they don't offer brewed organic coffee. read more

I, like many people, have been to probably well over a hundred Starbucks stores in my lifetime. They are all usually pretty similar, which is part of the reason why they are so successful, I would say. When you are in an unfamiliar place, and want a decent (not great...) coffee or espresso beverage, you can at least count on Starbucks to give you that. That is their appeal. You also expect a decent level of service, which is usually pretty standard. Well, this location just doesn't hold to that second part. I can honestly say, this is the very slowest Starbucks I have ever visited. I really wish it wasn't so close to my home, because I like to have Starbucks from time to time, but I just find myself having to avoid this place. First: the drive-thru is by far the slowest aspect. I also find it incredibly unprofessional to pull up to the order station and wait over five minutes before even being acknowledged (maybe it's just me though...?). On top of that, they frequently mess orders up. Well, on my last visit I thought I would give them another chance. I even went inside, as I knew how slow the drive-thru typically was. There was no one in line, and about three people waiting for their orders. I figured this would be a breeze. Boy, was I wrong. I waited over-wait for it- 30 minutes for my one, single, standard order drink to be made. 30 minutes. Now, you may say, well there must have been a bunch of online orders ahead of you. Sure, I thought maybe that was the case; but: 1. If there was an influx of orders just before mine, they should have told me as such. 2. When I went on the app just to check the waiting times for online ordering (as I figured it MUST be longer than the typical 4-7 minutes), it said the estimated wait was still just 4-7 minutes. That tells me they are prioritizing online orders, even coming in AFTER an order at the store has come in. Starbucks, get it together. I would avoid this location if at all possible. read more

This location needs some serious help. I will avoid this location at all costs. Unfriendly staff, won't smile, won't even greet you. This visit I stood at the register for 6 minutes before the barista even looked at me. Employees walked around, in and out of the office, and even left before I was looked at. The barista had her back to me in a box and just kept going "hold on" every few minutes. Never even said hello. When she finally came to the register all I got was "what did you want".
