I have recently begun, stepping away from coffee and then enjoying tea. I was at a doctors appointment and found myself passing by the Plaza at Hamilton. Quarter noticed that Sweetwaters is still in the shopping center, so I decided to make a quick detour and get a iced tea. My kids and their friends are always hurrying about carrying Matcha teas. I've never had one. I was feeling adventurous so I decided to get one. House I drove up I noticed they featured a Macha special day drink. on their drive-through menu board - a Matcha strawberry. It looked good, but it also said that it was available in different flavors. Options?!?! I love options. -mango being one of them! So, I asked the girl taking the order if a mango Matcha was any good. She says it depends if you like mango. I was getting the feeling that she does not I don't know. well, I do (a-lot) so I tried it. I don't know if it's just that I really do not enjoy Matcha or if Matcha and mango is a combo one should just avoid... I fear both may be true with me... initially I thoroughly did not enjoy this Matcha. The Green of the Matcha was a bit much or this "olds", I mean... Come on it really looks like something yucky It's the same color as something we just won't mention. but I was willing to continue to give it a shot but when you add the orange of the thick purée the color whisper, particularly alarming and upsetting. Still I was determined to give it a go..., mmmmmm , no. I am joking. It wasn't mmmmmm But I didn't throw it away. I kept giving it shot after shot. And you know what??? once I swirled it around and around and around and mixed everything all up, it wasn't awful. In fact, if it didn't come in a clear cup, I think I might've liked it. That's for the business itself: It was easy to see from the road and it was equally as easy to get to. They have a drive-through in the back, which is how you enter the parking lot so that's a plus. They have two menu boards easy to see manual items even when you're behind a car that's ordering (that's a plus). The staff was helpful and polite. The drink was presented well. It didn't have an abundance of ice and very little product. The drink was quite balanced appropriately. I asked for their equivalent of Boba and I got a decent amount. The pricing is a little high. I think my drink was eight dollars, but I feel like it was worth it. I don't usually say that. And I'm shocked that I'm saying that because I now now I don't love love love love love Macha. So would I come back? Well, I think I would. Actually, I know I would Ps: it's a 70-30 chance if I would get this again, which is a higher average than I would've initially thought. This place has a printer??? Super cute, super quick, lovely staff. Coffee options were creative and surprisingly good! I loved the dirty cold brew (my heart rate was insane after. Y'all eat breakfast.) No gluten free options, but no penalty for that. Also give the barista who complimented my nails a raise we loved her xav's note: tiramisu was banging. I thought my coffee was kind of average. But it was worth it for how big it was. I got a BPM above 120 because of a massive 6$ coffee with whipped cream. read more

Sweetwaters is my local coffee shop and I absolutely love it. I find myself either doordashing or going to the coffee shop itself at least once per week, and usually more often than that! In my opinion they have the best coffee around; it's not bitter at all and has a wonderful flavor. Their breakfast sandwiches are top notch when I'm in the mood for a treat - I love both their bagel and their biscuit sandwiches with eggs and bacon. I'm not sure if they bake their own bagels/biscuits, but they are sooooo delicious. When I'm trying to be a little healthier, I order their yogurt parfait, which is really light and refreshing. I especially love the granola that comes in their parfait, it's extra crunchy and delicious. The coffee shop itself is so cute and is a great place to hang out a while or even work from your laptop if you're able to work from home. I will give Sweetwaters my business over Starbucks any day! The coffee was fine. The bagel was fine. The rest of the staff: fine. But, holy walking dead, coffee drinkers, I'm pretty sure the barista today was a zombie. Wrong. Fancy a coffee shop to pull you away from your local Starbucks? Sweetwaters might just be your 'jam'. Staff behind the counter were busy but not frenzied at preparing orders, which helped me to feel comfortable asking a few questions before ordering a specialty latte. Plenty of seating is offered throughout the space, and I even spotted a large table which you can reserve for a group get together. How awesome! The ambience was calm and inviting, and there's a variety of items to grab a great gift: 1 lb. specialty blends of beans, branded mugs to match each blend, along with a few branded hats and coffee-themed shirts. The restrooms were clean and the blowdryer was really warm (meanwhile I might just have been checking out their tile floor, which matches the rest of my house). Although I didn't get any foodstuff, there was a great variety of options and they all looked delicious. A 'perk' if you will, I had a great view of the worker prepping various toasted sandwiches while sipping my coffee. Also of note: they have a patio and a drive-through. They are right by Dueling Axes, which I discovered recently. I sat in the parking lot to download the app and order a drink for inside pick up. Their Iced Lavender Lattes were $3 for rewards members, so that is what I ordered. I got the note that my drink would be ready in 1-4 minutes, so I went in. I waited several minutes for it, but a nice staffer called my name and the drink was very good. They have a drive-thru that I may frequent in the future. read more

Sweetwaters has easily surpassed Starbucks as my local, go-to place for coffee. Their mocha is out of this world - a favorite that I always go back to. Their chai is amazing too. If you're wanting a sweet treat, try the carrot cake - amazing taste and not too sickeningly sweet like other cafes. I've tried several of the fun holiday drinks at Sweetwater and they have all been winners. Fast and friendly service and a rewards program that automatically adds points to my account when I pay, so I don't have to remember to give my phone number each time. I go to a ton of coffee shops every week (grad student struggle) and can certainly say that Sweetwaters has worked its way to the top of my list! It's so nice, the atmosphere is great & so is the coffee! I had a lemon bar (which is my favorite pastry so I consider myself a lemon bar connoisseur) and it was very tasty. The curd was not overwhelming and the base was soft and flaky! I also tried the "Dreamy" which is one of their signature iced coffees and it was very flavorful, semi-sweet and had a great quality of coffee. Gave me just the boost I needed to get some work done!! It is a little pricey but considering other coffee shops in the area, pricing is comparable. I want to say my coffee and pastry are always under $10! They also have a loyalty program that accrues points pretty quickly so I'd be sure to download that if you're interested! I'll be adding this cozy coffee shop to my rotation and highly recommend if you're in the area! There's also a drive through if you're not into sitting inside during these times! I've been to multiple locations and this is by far the worst. After today we decided not to go back as the coffee was undrinkable. This is a very inconsistent location. Sometimes the lids don't fit and there's a good chance your whole drink will tip over in the car. Even the flavor syrups they use are different (and much worse) than other locations. Definitely shouldn't have given them as many chances as I have but it's stops now. I'll just go to the Dublin location if I must have it. read more

I am obsessed with this coffee shop! I love coming here to work or have meetings. The staff is very nice and knows as lot about the menu. The shop is clean and open so it is a great space to work. I order the Ham and Cheese Pretzel Sandwich($6.75) and the Crème Caramel w/Oat Milk ($6.95). It is worth every penny! The sandwich is delicious and the coffee is perfect! I really like this coffee shop. I've tried the French Vietnamese au Liat, Imperial Black Tea with steamed milk and Thai Iced Tea. I like that this shop has unique flavors that you can't find everywhere else. It's different than a traditional coffee shop but it's great if you want a change. The prices are very comparable to a big chair coffee shop but I feel the quality here is much better. They have a cute outdoor patio and convenient drive-thru. The inside is very clean and well kept. Welcome Sweet Waters to New Albany! Yelpers run here, do NOT walk and come ASAP! This is grand opening week and I couldn't miss the opportunity to try out some goodies. I don't know where to start...my heavens! Sweet Waters is located in the new section of New Albany called Hamilton Quarters. There is a round about that takes you there. An easy access drive through or plenty of parking should you want to go inside. I preferred the drive through on this early AM outing. The menu is easy to read which made it easier to find what wet my appetite and thirst. I ordered a cold brew (18 hours of that drip!!) And added heavy cream to make it Keto friendly. Wow! I needed to start there because this cold brew is the best I have had from the west coast, Midwest to the east coast. Yea, you heard it...they have that drip. Smooth and down right delicious. Add some milk or heavy cream in my case and sit back and enjoy. I didn't try the matcha given it was for my son, however, it looked delicious. I added almond milk and ice based on his preferences but you can drink hot, cold, straight up or add creamy. I ordered the egg, ham and cheese add bagel. They have other meat options or no meat option and keep egg and cheese. Put on a biscuit or bagel. It was firm, nicely toasted and a beautiful perfectly cooked egg! Given this was the grand opening week they offered me a few pastry bar with my orders. I got the Joy bar and Lemon bar. The joy bar was an Almond Joy kicked up to a bar. Crunchy, chewy and sweet with my favorite, coconut! Lemon bar was sweet, sour and creamy. Heaven in a bar!! Thanks Sweet Waters for the amazing customer service, quick order and delicious treats! Super hard to find if it's your first visit! The pin drop is wayyyy off. It's located in the strip mall on the north side of the church. Aside from having trouble finding this place for the first experience, it wasn't anything special. They were out of their signature cookies and most baked goods on a Sunday morning. Seemed odd since I would expect that would be one of the busier days, but I'm guessing it's because of Covid. The Americano wasn't worth getting and I would veer away from it. Espresso tasted super old...and I drink some questionable coffee at times. Their icons drinks were anything to rave about either, BUT I did not get a chance to try the frozen drinks which seem to be their signature. Overall, it wasn't the greatest first experience and I probably wouldn't go back when their are so many better coffee shops out there. Sticking to a 3* just because I didn't get a chance to try some of their more signature items. read more

My wife and kids like this place for the fancy overpriced fruit drinks. I tolerated their coffee, which is about on par with Tim Hortons, because of that and because they have good breakfast sandwiches. I get their emails because, at some point, I must have signed up for them and a little while back they asked for my birthday. Cool. So I get an email with a code in it for a free drink for my birthday. My wife's birthday is a couple weeks before mine and she just used hers with no problem. I, however, go through, order our drinks, get to the window, and show them the code and get "oh we do everything through your phone number now" and she proceeds to type in my phone number, twice, but looks confused because it's not coming up. While I didn't say anything, I was thinking "Um, maybe because I never signed up with a phone number? Also, why are you sending me codes in my email if you can't use them anyway." In any case, I'm not so broke I need to argue about free coffee so I just dropped it and paid. Sorry, Sweetwaters, but this experience soured me. Please don't offer things and then make it difficult for your customers. I've got two Starbucks between you and my house. You just gave me one less reason to drive any further. read more

Very fast service, the location is smaller than other coffee shops which gives it a nice local feel. Also it has a drive through which is nice if you are looking for speedy service.
