There are no shortage of Yemeni cafes in Cleveland. However, we do not have a Qamaria, so on a recent trip it only felt right that I should explore and see what Qamaria it is all about. I visited dislocation which is part of a strip mall, with ample parking. The ambience is clean with plenty of seating, nice decor, and the service is attentive. There are many great choices. However, I was recommended the pistachio latte, as it was a warmer day I opted for the iced version. While I was waiting for the coffee, I decided to take a look at the sweet offerings and it seemed like it was much of the same of what has offered at similar venues. I chose the biscoff milk cake. First, the highlights the pistachio latte was indeed quite good, I will say I could've used a bit more pistachio flavor. Also, I was not asked how sweet I wanted it. I probably would've opted for a tad bit more sweetness. The Biscoff milk cake was really nothing to write home about. It seemed like the cream on top of it was overpowering the dish, and the cake itself was not flavorful. Overall, I do not see this as a contender for the top with middle Eastern cafés in the region. read more

Stopped in while driving across the state. Looks really pleasant inside with a selection of standard as well as yemini drinks. Tried the Jubaan, which is coffee + qishr + spices. I really liked it. Also got a pistachio milkcake to go, which I asked help in choosing. Took it to go and had it many hours later with family. It was amazing and everybody loved it. I have been wanting to try this coffee shop for a while now and was really happy I stopped in. I went on a Sunday afternoon and picked up a Matcha latte and a sweet treat. It wasn't very crowded so I didn't have to wait long which was nice. I had been wanting to try the strawberry Dubai chocolate cup and it did not disappoint. The mixture of the strawberries and chocolate and the pistachio filling was so good. They also had many delicious pastry options as well as desserts. I definitely want to go back to try more. I liked the Matcha latte but it definitely wasn't my favorite. It tasted a little bland. The coffee shop itself is cute with plenty of seating and they also have a few tables outside. Qamaria had been on a short list of new-to-us coffee shops to try this year (coming off of a trip to Austria, I'm sorely missing cafe culture!) What a flawless visit to this great coffee shop! This location was a bit of a drive, but worth it. The young men who were working the counter were so friendly and helpful! Husband was very happy with their recommendation (Qamaria latte with no sugar added). He's a black coffee kind of guy (occasionally an Americano), so this was a serious treat. You could smell the cardamom and cinnamon! Just a stunning blend of spices, coffee, and milk. I have been thinking of my missed-connection with a pistachio latter at a different cafe recently, so I jumped at the chance to get one here. YOU GUYS. Omg. This is a cute little neighborhood gem. I was excited to have a chance to try a new local coffee shop. There are some great drink flavors available. I got a Turkish coffee. It is served in a beautiful silver metal pot. It wasn't exactly the same flavors as I am used to with a Turkish coffee but it was still a delightful experience. They have a display case full of beautiful pastries. I couldn't try any at this time but they looked delicious. They seemed popular because there were many missing by the time I left the shop. There is seating inside the shop. It is smaller but still a decent amount of tables available. this is a cute shop I will be coming back to if I am in the area. read more

Cute coffee shop in Hilliard. They have plenty of seats available inside & a couple of tables outdoors. It was a very quiet ambiance with elevator music playing in the background. I wanted to try something new so I ordered their pistachio cake and the Aden tea. The pistachio cake was very interesting. It was a moist hard cake. I've never had anything similar to it before. I was unable to try the tea until I got home due to it being so HOT when it was first given to us, to the point where it was undrinkable. The tea had a strong cardamom flavor to it and wasn't sweet (I ended up adding sugar to it). The customer service could've been better. They weren't as friendly and although they asked us if our order was for here or to go, they still gave us our drinks in to go cups, even though other customers who were there had mugs? Even though my drink was extremely hot, they didn't automatically put a sleeve on it. read more

Stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon for a coffee to go. Had tried to go to my favorite Turkish coffee place in Hilliard first but they had been inexplicably closed, so thought I'd try another of the newer places that had opened in the area. The store was staffed by two teenagers who seemed disinterested in me? their job? life? Who knows with most teenagers anymore; just infected with the general ennui that they'd rather be anywhere but there. Anyway, I ordered a mocha latte and a "Shay" tea, which description sounded a lot like a Chai tea, which I decided to take home to my husband. The cost was reasonable, about $11 total for both, and the tea was moltenly hot. Great if you like hot tea, not so great if you spill some on your hand like I did! The big disappointment was the latte. It had no coffee/espresso flavor AT ALL! It had all the flavor of sweetened milk and nothing else, not even a hint of mocha. Luckily I was just heading home, where I was able to brew a cup of strong coffee in the Keurig to add to the sweetened milk to give it some flavor. My husband did pronounce the Shay/chai tasty, though it didn't have the cream/milk one might normally find in an Indian version of that tea. With so many other middle eastern and just good old American coffee places in Hilliard, I don't think I'll be making another visit to Qamaria. As a side note, this shop does sell a number of delicious looking baked goods, primarily cake slices, croissant-like pastries and the like. Perhaps they are a better bakery than coffee house. If I'm in the area with a sweet tooth I might give those a try, but sadly, I'll take the cake home to my own brewed coffee. read more

The ambiance is beautiful and spacious with this musky scent of incense and beautiful murals and decorations that give you a sense of being transported to Yemen. This place became my go to place for coffee/Lattes. The best in Columbus so far. Hillard is a hike for us and yet we have been to this place so many times, and will continue to go. I heard that they are going to open shop in Polaris soon. I can't wait for that!! We have had few different types of drinks and Pastries, like Qamaria Latte the Adani tea, and the milk cakes (Pistachio and Caramel.) They are all great but my absolute favorite is the Hot Pistachios Latte and the Honeycomb, highly recommend it! Calling out from the start that I'm not a coffee drinker, so I can't rate that aspect. (But my wife got the Signature Latte and really liked it.) However I do like sweets, and Qamaria has a nice selection of milk cakes and pastry items which made the trip worthwhile. Their well-known Honeycomb pulled apart like monkey bread revealing cream cheese filling in each bite. The honey drizzle provided a subtle flavor boost. Their pistachio cake was a miss to me. Simply, I didn't like the flavor. However the caramel milk cake was tasty. It's like the best parts of flan and tres leche cake came together, and I recommend giving it a try. I enjoyed Qamaria Yemeni cafe shop. There is a decent amount of seating inside the cafe. However, I felt that the noise echoes inside there and it was fairly loud even though there was not that many people in there. Therefore, I don't think it is the best spot for studying or work. I ordered the Qamaria latte, honeycomb, and a milk cake to share with my friend. All the items are fairly large and shareable. I do not cinnamon a lot, but I enjoyed the hint of cinnamon that was in the latte. My favorite was the honeycomb. Each dome had cream cheese filling, yet was such a light and yummy treat with the right amount of sweetness from the honey syrup. I was excited to have another local coffee shop to try. It is very welcoming inside. There is a nice amount of seating and it was hopping on a Saturday. This has more of a cafe, hanging with friends, no rush kind of vibe. Not really a quick to-go coffee place, as it took about 20 minutes to order and receive a latte. The digital menu board is tiny (bring your glasses) and the pastries are not marked in the case so you have to ask what each thing is. This definitely slows up the ordering process. This was our first time here and we enjoyed the experience. There's free parking outside and a decent amount of seats inside. I don't think they have public WiFi, but other people were using their laptops, so I asked for the password. It's simple and beautifully decorated inside, lively during peak hours, and a great place to bring friends. They're so unique, you can taste the spices and the bloomed flavors. The Honeycomb pastry ($5) was sweet and slightly salty, covered in honey goodness and filled with a sweet cream cheese. The Pistachio Milk Cake ($6) was very flavorful, sweet, and creamy. They offer other cake flavors and other pastries as well, you can't go wrong. Everything was delicious and made with quality care! They offer a kettle serving, which is a pitcher style brew for a small group. Such a great concept, especially to bring friends to have a conversation or hang out. Staff was super friendly, so nice, beautiful humans, and very helpful! They explained any questions we had about the menu and also took their time to get the WiFi password when I asked. I go to the Qamaria on Sawmill in Dublin. I'm there every morning for a mocha and a butter croissant. Absolutely delicious. I used to go to Starbucks. The prices are comparable, but Starbucks was getting a bit heavy. Not sure how else to describe it, the Qamaria mocha seems more refined. The staff is always friendly. Efficient while not hurried. It's as if you took a less doughy version of little bagel bombs stuffed w/ cream cheese and pressed them together to bake. Once it's cut into slices, it's drizzled with honey & sesame seeds. The coffee is some of the smoothest I've had & the fresh spices like cardamom, ginger & cinnamon are a nice alternative for flavor than artificial syrups. 3) Atmosphere! I absolutely loved this place. The coffee was great. I tried many different drinks and they were all smooth with no acidic after taste. Many of the drinks had cinnamon, cardamom and ginger. The Juban and Sana'a were probably my favorite drinks. I also got a Honeycomb. This pastry was flaky and delicious. There was a little bit of cream cheese in every bite. The shop worker, who I think is the manager or owner, provided amazing service. He even provided a history lesson on coffee in Yemen. I definitely encourage folks to check out this location. So so good. It was a hike for us to get there but finally got to stop by today for another event in town. And it's 100000% worth it. The pack is so unique and I just love how authentic it is. The decorations, the amount of work and effort they put into their products. And omg the honeycomb cake did live up to the hype. I got the signature latte and love it too. Fantastic Yemeni chai/coffee spot! We're big fans of Qahwah House chai, and while the flavor of the Yemeni Adeni chai was slightly different here (more cardamom flavor), it was still really great. We LOVED the caramel milk cake and the knafeh cheesecake is great too. There's lots of seating with extra chairs in the back which was very helpful. Big menu of drinks and snacks. On a whim on a relatively nice fall evening, we went to check out Qamaria Coffee. While this was our first visit, it will not be our last because this café serves up some of the best coffee in Columbus, and the pastry offerings here are quite unique and delicious. Qamaria is in a strip mall in Hilliard, and the location is larger than it appears from the outside. The ambiance inside is nice and bright, with wall decors that reflect the history of Yemeni coffee and Yemeni culture. This is a great spot for small to medium sized groups to gather and shoot the breeze. I absolutely loved this vibe which is sometimes lacking in today's coffee shops that feel like library/co-working spaces. The gentleman at the counter was pleasant and helpful with our order, and he made some great recommendations. We ordered the Iced Qamaria Latte, the Pistachio Latte, a honeycomb (a must order) and a milk cake. Although the place was busy, all our order was prepared quickly, and everything tasted delectable. Qamaria is relatively new to Columbus, however, this place is off to a great start, and I cannot wait to come back to check out all their other offerings. read more

I got draw into Qamaria Yemeni Coffee when I saw their Honeycomb bread and it totally worth a drive. The counter is right by the door and all the seating is toward the back of the store. They have quite a selection with both coffee and tea. Their coffee source originate from Yemen and they also have package coffee bean available. Of course I got the Honeycomb bread and an Iced Pistachio Latte for the pair. I would said the Honeycomb bread is a must have. The outer part is crisp with sesame seed. Each of the comb is filled with cream cheese and topped with honey drizzle. Everything is just right for this perfect combo. I also love the Iced Pistachio Latte. The flavor of the pistachio really shine through. I hope that the syrup is a bit thinner so it will be easier to incorporate into the coffee. I was running a few errands on the west side and decided to finally check out Qamaria - so glad I did! I got the Qamaria latte, hot, with no sugar, which I really appreciated. So many "coffee drinks" it's either plain or so sweet I almost can't finish it, but this adds flavor with spices rather than flavored syrups. The coffee itself was probably some of the best I've had, mellow with zero bitterness. I also picked up a couple of pastries to take home - hard to pick, but I ended up with a "honeycomb" (which I think is kind of their signature pastry) and a piece of date cake. The honeycomb bread is slightly sweet and stuffed with soft cheese; it came with a little cup of honey. I think if you get it in the cafe, the honey is drizzled over the pastry when you get it. It was good, but what really knocked my socks off was the date cake - dense, sweet, moist, great flavor, topped with a thin layer of something gooey - caramel? Anyway, I loved it. Lots of other interesting-looking choices in the display case, so I definitely need to go back and work my way through the goodies. read more

We came in here on a Thursday evening looking for a comfy drink and a relaxing atmosphere to get some reading done and our expectations were blown away. The first thing I noticed when we stepped in the door was the amazing smell of the place and the light, modern interior decor. Lots of seating inside and outside.
