Breakfast sandwich and strawberry matcha latte
Amanda D.

This place has THE best coffee. The taste is just different. I don't know how else to explain it. It's just good. I'm not even a coffee drinker and it gets me every time. The housemate vanilla is to die for. The vanilla lattes and the caramel lattes are the best. Their matcha is delicious. Love the strawberry matcha. The flavors are just so good. The breakfast sandwich is amazing. It's really not cheap lol. But it's worth it for a splurge. The danishes are unreal. Try the blueberry galette!!!

This place is pretty good and fast. The guy ordering wasn't very nice but that could be from the amount of people and they were closing in an hour. I will say we had our coffee in less than five minutes and our food in leas than 10 and there were ALOT of people there. My latte was good but not very strong and I asked for sugar free flavors and they didn't have any but the regular vanilla is good. The best part is that egg sandwich. It's gotta be the best bread we've had in a long time and you can watch them make it. It is a little on the pricey side but I'd definitely get it again.

Another visit, another great experience. It is our tradition to hit a location on our way out of town after visiting family. This one didn't disappoint, as the drinks and food were all tasty and what we hoped for. We also picked up a tote bag and pin about the breakfast sandwich. Store was very busy but moved ok until the computer went down. Then the orders couldn't be entered and checked out. Location is decorated well and a cool place to hang out. Always love coming here

Everything Danish

A classic, we always get the egg sandwich. The everything danish is new for me, and it was perfect! Highly recommend trying it!

Fox In the Snow Cafe was one of the first coffee shops I visited in Columbus and it never fails to disappoint! Although there's usually a very long line out the door, if you go during the week it's not that bad. The food and coffee is also worth the wait! The soufflée egg sandwich is the BEST breakfast sandwich I've ever had, but they also have a wide variety of pastries to choose from as well. Staff is also always very friendly and will accommodate any request.

Fox in the Snow is one of the best bakeries in town! Every single one of their baked goods and pastries are incredibly delicious consistently, and you can't go wrong with any option you go with! My favorite sweet treat is a classic blueberry scone, but the sticky bun is extra yummy too! If your feeling something more savory, the egg sandwich is unmatched! You need to stop by anytime you're in town to start off your day

Thanks to Yelper Mike G. For helping me find this delicious breakfast spot. Don't be scared of the long line, it moves very fast. The place is bright and clean and feels hip. So many pastries being made in front of you it's hard to choose. We got a New Orleans Iced Coffee, a sticky bun and an egg sandwich with bacon. The sticky bun was full of a sweet nutty filling and was light and flaky. The egg sandwich was so delicious the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly not to mention the bread had a nice tooth while easy to bite into. The coffee was the perfect morning pick me up. When I return I think I'll have to try the tomato danish and the cinnamon roll, they looked amazing.

This place is the best pastry, bakery spot in Columbus. My fave have to be the blueberry danish and the garlic cream cheese pastry. Service was good, the place was as nice, plenty of seating.

What an incredible place. The atmosphere is that of a standard modern coffee shop. Good for groups and families. The pastries are incredible, especially for the size, my goodness. I only got a drip coffee but the quality of that makes me know that the other coffee drinks are likely Stellar. I'll be back before I head home

The food is excellent here! Top notch baked goods. The line was out the door but it moved fairly quickly. The workers are friendly and fast. We found a table to enjoy our egg sandwich, New Orleans iced coffee, and sticky bun. The interior glows in the morning sunlight.

The banana bread was tasty and moist. The tomato pastry was amazing. Idk what I expected but it exceeded it in every way. The coffee was good standard coffee. The pastry is making me want to come back and try so many more. This place has a great vibe to hangout and socialize with friends, we sat on the patio!

This place is so good, we came twice during our weekend in town. The pastries are buttery and flaky. My favorites were the blueberry galette, peach pastry and tomato tart. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The service was amazing! They accidentally got our order wrong and gave us a pastry on the house :)

Strawberry matcha

Always have a great time visiting Fox in the Snow. Their pastries are all amazing and have tried most of them. Their strawberry diamond is seasonal (I think) so I generally get that when available. The Ham and Swiss is a great option if you prefer something savory. Service is excellent as all staff are kind and have great recommendations when you do not know what to choose. Inside the building is super cute and has lots of lighting.

Ask the Community - Fox In the Snow Cafe

Is there indoor seating back up now?

Yes, there is indoor seating available.

Are there free refills offered on hot drip coffee? (There is both pour over and drip coffee available).

The coffee is a pour over and not a drip coffee. The price of $3 is per cup.

Can you bring dogs to the patio?

So there isn't a patio.... but I have seen a good number of pups inside! Usually the people with pets do takeaway because there isn't much room (especially when it gets busy).

Does anyone know if they are open on Labor Day? I can't locate a phone number anywhere.

Yes, they are open. I just got an updated response from Jeff, a manager at Fox in The Snow. He says they open at 8am tomorrow. Which is not their regular hours (Monday). Go and enjoy. You are going to love it!!!! Have a great holiday weekend!… Read more

Do they have milk substitutes? Such as almond milk, soy milk, or oat milk?

Yes! I know for sure they have almond milk. And I would be pretty confident in saying they have coconut, soy, or oat too!

Are there any gluten free options?

I asked the 2nd to last time I was there and unfortunately the only GF food option is there oatmeal, which is still very good. Definitely feel like they should try to make some GF pastry options since Celiac's and gluten intolerances are more common… Read more

How early should you try to get here on the weekend to avoid the long lines?

It seems like the best time to arrive would be in the first 30 minutes after opening. It seems like the line grows pretty quickly after that point and stays long.

Do they have any vegan pastries?

The only vegan food option that was offered couple months ago was almond milk & granola.

How much does it cost to rent the Cafe for an evening to host a Bridal Shower?

-$150 per hour -$25 per hour for coffee barista if desired + menu price -You must also purchase your… Read more

Maple pecan twist is delicious. Soft with a sweet maple glaze and crunchy pecans to top. This was beautiful down and tasted fantastic. If you're a pecan lover this is for you. I'd highly recommend. Pumpkin morning bun was phenomenal. This is one of the best pumpkin pastries I've ever had. A true pumpkin flavor with a soft buttery pastry. I'd insist on this item. Crème Brûlée Eclair was good. Butter pastry with a crunchy caramel topping and a sweet very well made cream filling. This was my first eclair and I'm not disappointed. I'd recommend. Plum cranberry Almond Tart was delicious. The plums and cranberries were fresh and added a nice freshness to the almond base tart. I'd highly recommend. Chocolate bombe was great. Cold ganache filling with dark chocolate chunks and a beautiful ganache and cocoa powder over the top. I'd recommend for chocolate lovers. Chocolate Caramel Pecan Feuilletine was great. I think the issue is with the chocolate they use for the mocha but it had such an odd flavor that I couldn't bring myself to finish it. The croissant was fine and not memorable and I won't say too much on the macaron because I think I just realized I'm not really a macaron person so I can't fairly judge them there. The cafe is itty bitty and there is absolutely no seating inside so it's more of a grab and go situation. There are a few seats outside so hopefully you can snag a seat when the weather is nicer. Overall, I think there are a lot of other good coffee shops in Columbus that I don't see myself going out of my way to come back.

When you walk in you pull a number and wait for it to be called. Almost felt like I had walked into the DMV. lol We peeked at the display counters while we waited and tried to have our orders ready when it was our turn to expedite the wait for those after us. There were a few shelves that displayed various cookies, breads and things you could grab and go. The place was clean and the process was orderly. They seemed to keep things in the front stocked. We probably waited about 15 minutes. I pulled number 90 and the were calling the last of the 60's. We ordered several items to try including the packzis with three different fillings since we went at the right time of year for these. We grabbed a cheese, strawberry and lemon. We also chose a cheese danish, maple cream stick, apple fritter, cherry turnover and a donut stick. Once we told them what we wanted the girl helping us went to the back and started filling our box. A few moments later she returned, we paid and headed out the door with our sweets. My husband didn't want to wait so we opened up the box once we got to the car and each took one bite from each of our selections. We didn't find anything wrong with our choices. The one thing I was thrown off by is how they make their apple fritters. I almost missed ordering one bc they look nothing like the apple fritters I'm used to eating. It was just ok in my book. Not something I would get again. The donut stick on the other hand is something I wouldn't miss next time. In fact I'd be getting more than one. It was probably my favorite item of all we selected. The cream stick dough was soft. The cream wasn't too sweet. The only thing I would have changed was to have the maple icing be a bit more maple flavored. The turnover was nice and crispy flakey but the filling was just ok. Maybe a different flavor next time if I would get one. How can you go wrong with a cheese danish? Warm this slightly and you're hitting a home run. This was a nice stop and we learned the difference between what we liked and loved. We know just what to get next time. I will say they have a great social media presence and do a phenomenal job interacting with their customers and community.

We enjoy their products and welcome Resch's to Gahanna. We are highly confident Resch's would be even more successful if they took two actions: 1. Open for business at least by 7:00 a.m. 2. Offer the option of traditional no-filling Chocolate and Vanilla frosted Long John donuts. -- market data supports this and shows .... Based on: * Sampling of 100+ independent bakery hours across U.S. cities * Regional bakery association listings * Yelp/Google Business hour patterns * Known bakery business models A realistic, data‑grounded estimate is: Only about 10-15% of neighborhood bakeries open at 8:00 a.m. or later. Further market data shows... Bakeries that offer only filled Long Johns are extremely uncommon. Why unfilled Long Johns almost always remain on the menu * They serve the "less sweet" customer segment. * They pair well with coffee (important for morning sales). * They are cheaper to produce and have fewer failure points. * They are the "default bar donut" in many regions. Even bakeries that push filled varieties keep unfilled bars because they sell steadily and require no additional labor. --- Bottom-line conclusion Bakeries that offer only filled Long Johns are very rare -- probably under 5% of all bakeries. The overwhelming majority offer both, with filled varieties outnumbering unfilled but not replacing them.
