Loved the diction and friendly order taker. Alonso responded, clean truck, clean uniform, clean equipment and pleasantly introduced himself. After hearing my fright, he explained the nature of the bug/M.O. Alonso went to the curb lifted the concrete cover sprayed the main water supply. After further questioning Alonso, sprayed all areas where their maybe moisture. Put on clean shoe covers, entered the home and did the same thing. Alonso comes every other month. Some years the bugs returned other years they did not, so we focused on spider webs and termites. The outcome for ARA A. likely an anomaly. After all these years Alonso is what makes the plan work. Extremely unprofessional and unreliable. I waited over three hours for service, and no one ever showed up. The call center informed me that Alonso had completely missed our condo, yet when I spoke with him directly, he tried to excuse it as a "family emergency." Not only was the job neglected, but Alonso was also dishonest about the reason. This kind of irresponsibility and lack of integrity is unacceptable. We've been dealing with a flea infestation outside for about two weeks now and this is the second outbreak we've dealt with in 3 years. We've been using another exterminating company up until recently and the experience has been horrible and super frustrating. Julian came between 8 and 10 am today to treat the exterior of my apartment for fleas. He was super nice and patient and said it should take a couple days for the treatment to take effect. He was super thorough with the treatment so I'm hoping we never see another flea again. I'm super happy to have found New Systems! read more

Carl runs an honest and knowledgeable business. I had a mouse (or rat issue last week, and spoke to Carl about it. Man he hooked me up! Sent over his guy, he took a look around and immediately resolved the problem(s). He made some suggestions on how to keep these little suckers out of my home... and that was that. What a pleasant surprise. Found these guys on Yelp, scanned reviews and decided to give it a shot. We had a termite attack, two tiny holes drilled through our hardwood floor, with the resulting debris. Called New Systems, Got an appointment a few days later. Jesus showed up in an timely manner for a free inspection/estimate. Spent at least 30 minutes doing an inspection of our single family house, inside and out, checking perimeter, attic, and crawlspace. (He wore booties inside, and of course wore a mask-Covid-19) Said he spotted one colony only, and advised us to treat locally, no tenting required. A written report was emailed a few days later. That was the best news, no tenting, no moving out, no $$$ bills. (No "preventitive" up-sell!!!) We were really prepared for tenting as we have seen it so often in the neighborhood. (90066). Called again to set appointment for local treatment. A few days later, Jesus, again arrived promptly, and applied the treatment through the floorboards w/foam. Of course, it's only been one week, but looks good and there is a one year warranty. Great to support a local family business and not some sort of franchise with salespeople. read more

I've been going through a flea infestation for weeks now. Miriam was super helpful and accommodating so that I can get an exterminator in the next day. She was able to provide my estimate based on my current situation right away without an inspection. She also provided helpful tips. Alonso was also really knowledgeable and nice. He came in and wasn't trying to over sell on what my needs were and the treatment plan. They offered me a 30 day warranty plus a discount. They are honest people with integrity. Tried to rip us off on their 1st scheduled monthly visit. I tried to cancel and reschedule, apparently this company likes to close their office at 3, even though their hours are listed until 5pm. The technician called me to tell me he got the message in time and did not perform the service. When I called to reschedule the office tried to tell me he did and said that we would be charged for the service. When I pointed this out, the woman on the phone became very offensive and essentially said perhaps "their service is not for me." I asked to speak to a manager (I was being polite and gentile mind you), and was promptly transferred to a phone that rang endlessly. Avoid. read more

Have used this company a few times and so far so good! I would have given them five stars but twice we had to respray - which was covered under their package but a bit inconvenient on the schedule. In the 7 years of owning a single family residence in the Westchester/Del Rey area, I finally experienced a problem with rats. I was a novice in this area, as I didn't know if I had mice, rats, raccoons, or possums. I also didnt know what specific business to call to help me figure it out. I just knew there were noises that started below the house, that eventually worked its way up the walls... I scheduled an appointment with Carl and explained this to him. He noted a few screens had to be replaced, as well as a door sweep. I was charged $350.00 for the "rodent proofing service" thinking I would find some peace of mind. Of course, the issue was still not resolved. In fact, one rat even chewed through one of the screens. I called Carl again and he booked me for the following Monday. On Monday, while I was out of the country, I was told that no one from New Systems had shown up. I'm disappointed in the amount I was charged, for the work I received, in addition to the missed appointment. I clearly communicated the problem and as a paying customer, expected a solution or at least assistance and better direction to find one. read more

During the terrible winds yesterday a swarm of small flies were swept through my large front door while the Fed Ex man delivered. I noticed thousands of these bugs up inside my front room skylights and all over the floor..... Not realizing why they were there I called New Systems and Carl explained the way they came in the door and that I could get rid of them myself with an over the counter product. He explained in detail the bug as he had me take a picture on my phone and send it to his email and said they are harmless and exactly how to eradicate them. He said he did not need to have me pay a fee as I could just spray them myself. I was so shocked that someone would give up their fee to help without anything in return. He is amazing and I will always use him and recommend him. A month ago I called a chain exterminator and some 18 year old kid in a uniform and fancy van with tattoos came out and took a bug back to his office as he was just the collector and sprayer... A day later they called with the bug name and wanted $850 to spray...I looked up the bug and why I had it ( dog food kibbles) and the way to get rid of it over the counter, which , I did in a day. I am so glad this other chain outfit was bad as I will always use New Systems now with Carl.... read more

I found New Systems on Yelp! and I tried them because of their excellent reviews! Carl was able to squeeze us in just a day from our initial phone call. He was extremely personable on the phone and answered any "silly" questions we had. Jesus came in the time frame promised (30 minute window) and was professional and personable. He answered my questions thoughtfully and took the time to look around my house in areas that I didn't think of (i thought we were being infested with RATS - YUCK!) but he assured me that I wasn't "going crazy" and that it might have come in the house through the mouth of our cat. Thanks Benson! He put some glue traps down just in case and covered up the whole in which i thought they were entering in from. He told me he did this free of charge. Carl handled our commerical account with ease. We are 110,000 sq. feet in size with a big termite problem. We rec'd several bids and Carl's was the most economical and he was the nicest. He met with us a few times before as we had to make sure that our employees followed all the rules, we had an isolated a/c unit to worry about as well as security. I really hope I don't have bed bugs (he gave me a couple tests to find out if I do...) but, if we DO have them, I wouldn't hire anyone but Carl. The info & advice he gave me will be used the rest of my life. ....such as, spraying Deet repellant on my luggage before traveling. Like everyone else, I read the raving reviews, so I called New Systems and had the same experience. Carl was more than helpful to work around my crazy schedule and he was readily available by phone. My tenants saw a rat in the kitchen. When Jesus came out, he advised me of all the possible entrances and said that until I could get a handyman to seal up some of the larger areas, the problem would continue. He offered to set traps, but felt it would be useless until I took care of the entrances. THEN, he screened a few minor holes for FREE. Go figure, when in this day, does a company come out, do minor repairs, and advise, without taking any compensation! Truly, an ethical company. read more

Professional and knowledgeable, they arrived in a timely manner, inspected the problem in our garage, and determined the cause was dry rot. They explained that the garage is made of kiln-dried redwood, which is naturally resistant to termites. It would have been easy for them to nod their heads and say, "That's termite damage all right", and take our money, but they didn't. They were so nice I wished there was some work we could send their way. I will definitely call them when we need the house inspected prior to sale. read more

I did not think the price was too high . I set up a date with the office manager to get my house fumigated. Erika the office manager emailed all the files I needed for the fumigation . I just had another fantastic experience with New Systems Exterminating. They took care of a termite problem I had in the attic last October so when I started noticing rat droppings in our kitchen and hearing scratching in the attic I knew exactly who to call. Alonso and his tech came out and walked the perimeter of our home and made sure to properly seal all the entry points into our crawl space and roof. I called New Systems for a quote today. Jesus picked up and was extremely thorough in diagnosing our problem with flies, unfortunately it's mating season and there's really nothing to be done to permanently get rid of the things. He gave me some very helpful tips but I really appreciated the honesty and integrity of how they do business, and being upfront about what the options are. A real class act.
