From my first phone call yesterday with Brandi and service today with Calvin, the experience was easy and quick. Brandi was helpful and courteous setting up a next day appointment for our ant problem. Calvin texted to let us know he was on the way, show up right in the window they promised, and was kind, informative, and efficient. We have little dogs and I was concerned about them but Calvin gave clear instructions on how long to wait for the spray to dry outside. Hopefully we don't see any more ants but if we do, we have 10 days to let them know and they'll come back out to troubleshoot. read more

we love 1st stryke. they are honest and comes out as scheduled. easy payment options and quality pest control services. we have used them over a year consistently and have had no pest control problems since! read more

I saw the service post on FB and I reached out to them. Very friendly and answered all of my questions. They offered to remove the wasps and also treat the house for other issues. Price was super competitive matching others but they offered to cover ants, spiders webs , spiders, and mosquitoes. Richy arrived and got to work. I thought I had 7-9 nests and we picked up 18 wasps nests. There was a lot of work to do and Richy was busy and super positive. No complaints or adding extra charges. I appreciate the open communication / hard work / and commitment. I will definitely use them for all pest related issues. read more

Gyle or Garl is the hardest working guy in the business. I'm so thankful for his hard work on putting my mind at ease with nests that were in my attic. I really hope he gets the recognition that he deserves. He alone is the reason I will recommend this company and I really hope that his hard work doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you again. read more

This company was highly referred to us by two of my long term, trustworthy neighbors. I had previously contacted and discussed pricing with 4 other companies, to which we originally hired Terminix (waaaaay overpriced btw). After talking with so many different companies, I really appreciated the promptness and thoroughness in having all of my questions answered all while providing specific details. Prior to meeting Steve, I had communication with the owner who was also prompt and efficient with me while we communicated through Yelp projects. Steve was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way and made himself available during the entirety of the process. He was direct, patient and honest. The service I chose was tenting for termite fumigation to which I was told this work was done by another company they subcontract to (Pro Way Fumigation). This is important to know and note because I have never worked with a fumigation company and I'm not sure if this is a common practice or not, but I appreciated the transparency. I don't have a single complaint to report as overall I am pleased with the services provided, especially my interactions with Steve. However I do want to help someone out there have an even better experience. When Pro Way Fumigation arrived, there were 3 guys in my yard who came out of a truck already parked in my driveway pulling out a tent before they even rang the doorbell. It was quite alarming and nerve wrecking and I felt like I was being rushed out of my home. I was prepared and ready to leave but a quick doorbell ring, 5 minute recap of what they were there to do would've helped me feel a little better about letting strangers enter my home and less invasive. All that said, if you've read this far- hire 1st Stryke for your critter and bog solutions. Fair pricing, great service and super easy to work with! read more

While I didn't hire 1st Stryke for a job, Bob was kind enough to help me identify a pest in my more unusual situation: I was traveling in SoCal, stayed in a hotel where my partner was bit, and found two bug halves that looked like they could have belonged to a bedbug. Called them to see if they could help somehow, and they asked me to forward along photos for them to review, which they certainly didn't need to do. So, 5 stars for the help here! read more

We are very pleased with our service from 1st Stryke. Richy has gone above and beyond to get rid of our nasty beetle infestation. He is very knowledgeable and has great work ethics and is a very kind hearted person. Soooo glad we changed form Terminix. read more

Gael was super helpful and super fast! He was in one minute and out the other and delivered excellent service! 1st Stryke is very easy to work with and love that I am able to communicate with them through SMS without having to be on the phone. Their mosquito service is wonderful and affortable than the rest! Thank you Richy for the consideration! Your team rocks! read more

This review is actually long overdue. We hired 1st Stryke around October 2022 to help with our house fumigation and rodent proofing. I try to do at least 3 quotes when I'm hiring for a service and 1st Stryke was pretty competitive. Most homeowners know that owning a house is a never-ending money pit and I've dealt with my fair share of contractors for all sorts of house related things (windows, roof, gates, kitchen/bathroom remodel, etc...). I think what makes 1st Stryke different is how incredibly responsive their team is and that they really try to make things right if there are any hiccups. I'm a firm believer in that all sorts of weird stuff can happen in a process of a job, and it is how the company chooses to remedy the situation is what ultimately matters. I've referred them to others for pest control needs and they also like their work. read more

Richard was great!! Highly recommend this company! They were honest and communicative. Thank you!

Continues to be one of the most reliable and competitive pest control service providers out there

We hired 1st Stryke Pest to deal with a pest issue at our building. John and his office were incredibly professional and upfront about timelines. We hired him solely based on the detail of his initial quote and the 1-year guarantee of the services. So far, it's been just over one year that 1st Stryke dealt with the pest issue and there have been no issues or re-emergence of the pests (that were treated) to date. read more

I called 1st Stryke because I thought I had a termite issue but thankfully I didn't! I got a quote for general pest control services while they were here and it wasn't as costly as I thought it would be. Our technician, Thomas, is great! We're on the bimonthly plan so we see him every two months. He's very knowledgeable and gets the job done quickly and efficiently. The peace of mind I have after hiring their services is priceless :) read more

I have worked with 1st Stryke for many years. Bob and Steve helped me with a rat problem in the attic first. Then we had a water bug infestation upon coming back from a long trip. They didn't disappear instantly, but 1st Stryke took all my calls and came out multiple times to get rid of them. They've helped me with termite infestations, mosquitos and more. I get monthly service with them and all of their technicians are respectful of the property and all very nice. I would recommend them to anyone looking for pest control and termite services. read more

Seamless, effective and efficient service. Great communication. I always know when they're coming for service, and when they're in the way. Reasonably priced, and no contracts which is why I've stayed with them way longer than if I had a contract. Keep up the good work 1st Stryke! read more

Great service, communication, and always arrives on time. We have been happy with the service and pricing.

I have used 1st Stryke a few times over the years; I HATE ants!! They return all messages quickly and very professional interactions. If the ants returned in a specific time frame, they did not hesitate to return and got rid of everything. No questions asked. They don't sell you on anything more than what you need and I appreciate that. My mom was getting small bites on her ankles and 1st Stryke came out, inspected her place, turned over her couch and inspected the seams. They didn't find anything significant but we sprayed anyway and she's had NO BITES SINCE!!!! read more

We called because we found termite droppings by our front windows and Steve came out right away to assess the situation and determined we had termites. Within a few days, Steve came back out to do a window treatment for it. Great service by Steve, highly recommend! read more

Steve and the service his company provides is exceptional. I can always count on him to come in to take care of any mice or roaches issues I have. He's friendly, easy to talk to and very professional. It's very hard at times to deal with bugs issues and I feel so much better that they've got my back and my house is in good hands! read more

Jake came out to remove the bees and did an amazing job, quick and efficient and explained all the steps needed. Would definitely recommend!

We had a bed bug problem. Those guys usually hide but we literally saw an adult bed bug which confirmed our suspicions. I called First Stryke and explained our situation to Bob who scheduled us for treatment as soon as he was available. He sent us directions on what to do to prepare for the treatment appointment. Since we just barely moved into our new home it didn't take us long to prepare. If you have a lot of clothes or little trinkets lying around, I'd suggest giving yourself enough time to prepare before the treatment date. Not going to lie, the instructions he sent were a little jank - they had some typos and seemed like they were made in a rush. After the first treatment, we were still getting bites. So, we set up another appointment for treatment (the multiple treatments are covered under your first payment within the first month). We were getting pretty hopeless and even asked Bob if we should just toss our mattress to speed up the process. Bob was very insistent that he could treat the bed bugs and that he wouldn't want us to do that because mattresses are expensive. I thought this was really considerate of him. It made me feel as though he cared more about us than about making his work easier and just making money. Bob was right. After the second treatment, our bed bugs were gone! It's been three months since then and there aren't any signs of bed bugs still! read more

Great response time. Very thorough with explaining what was going on and how this issue could be corrected. Providing options and best values based on the needs of service. Thanks Steve! read more

John came out for pest control. Very nice and professional. Gave me tons of tips and tricks to prevent in the future and the job went smooth. Great company. read more

I would describe my experience with 1st Stryke as unexpected and welcomed. The home my wife and I purchased needed so much TLC. When we bought it, the condition of our house was like stepping into a time capsule. Nothing had been updated since it was constructed in the early 70s. We've hired numerous company's/contractors for work, and because we are not made out of money, we've done many smaller projects ourselves, but finding the right person at the right price for the bigger projects is always our biggest challenge. Let me say that working with 1st Stryke has been a welcomed change of pace. The 1st Stryke team had a lot of work to do. The majority of the house's fascia boards and many other pieces of wood were rotted, termite-infested, and about as strong as a stale cracker. My wife and I decided to replace all fascia boards and any piece of damaged/rotted wood, along with installing a metal side garage door. These folks know what they are doing, and the job wasn't easy because of the age of the home. Not once did I feel like they were trying to rush the job just to get paid. Every time we had a concern, no matter what it was, they took the time to address instead of dancing around the issue making excuses. I honestly feel they take pride in their work, which is a welcomed change from so many others who want to do a quick job and get paid. I'm so glad we went with 1st Stryke. read more

1st Stryke has helped our ant infestation 100% since we started using their service. Richy is awesome and helpful! Highly recommend!

John came by to check my traps and do rodent proofing. He was very thorough and professional. Very happy with his service.

James came out and gave us an honest quote to tent and bomb our whole house in La Palma, he was very thorough, checked around the house and explained all the process and steps that it will require to get this done (no pushy sales tactics). He seemed an honest guy and so sorry to hear about this family getting hit by a drunk driver in the past, god bless. We saved his quote and planning to do it around Feb or May due to money issues. Will save his info and refer to neighbors as needed. I just got a good feel about this gentleman and his integrity, thanks for coming out. read more

I had an excellent experience with 1st Stryke . Bob is very flexible and very affordable. I used Orkin and I was not impressed at all. Give them a call, they are very honest and very trustworthy. read more

During this pandemic, I'm not sure if our house had some sort of silent signal to call out all critters but we've had roaches, birds and last night, a rat. We were able to manage the roaches on our own, and the birds apparently just came for a weekend getaway.... but the rat was making noises above our living room and driving my dogs crazy! Plus, I could barely sleep after we discovered it. Why do you discover a crazy pest problem in the middle of the night or on a weekend?! The universe loves to play jokes I guess... So I sent a message to a couple businesses nearby last night and we went with this one. The owner messaged about what his quote was and confirmed he could get someone out today. Absolutely music to my ears... Robert came out on time and sent a text to confirm before his arrival. Super nice guy, and took the time to answer all my paranoid questions... good thing is that he said it appears there may only be one and it was unlikely to be a major infestation based on his assessment and perimeter check. He'll be back a couple more times but crossing my fingers that we get rid of it! Highly recommend this company based on my initial experience. read more

I recently hired 1st Stryke for a rodent infestation at my rental cottage. Jason was great, identified where the mice were coming in and suggested repairs. Our last recheck is this week, and it looks like the problem has been solved. He and Geoff were on time, professional and really good at their job. Also, the price was very reasonable. I would definitely call them back for any future rodent issues. read more

Initially called for termite problems. They helped to tent the house and also treat the underground termite issue. Because of severe flea problem outdoor, called them for regular pest maintainance to spray the front/back yard. The flea issue got much better after 2 treatments and have them over regularly since. All reps, workers and owners are very nice and easy to communicate. Highly recommend company to friends and others read more

We have been with 1st Stryke Pest for almost a year now and would highly recommend them! Jake is our guy and we can't be happier with his attentiveness and care of our home. We discovered we had a rat issue the day before thanksgiving day and while we cannot get anyone to be here, Jake showed up and took care of the issue. We have not had any rat issues since. But we signed up for the bi-monthly maintenance service and again highly recommend it! read more
