This is a review of ThatGuy services - EVIL!!! Fenn Pest control SAVED me. One of the most traumatic & horrible experiences in my life dealing with this DISGUSTING company. I live in an apartment building & ThatGuy are the vendor for Greystar properties. My rental contract says I have to use their vendors & pay 100% of it ? ughhh . ThatGuy tech comes he says I'm only going to look at the bedroom and he said you're going to have to take everything out of your closet because I need to get in the crevices & you're gonna have to put all those clothes and bedding in bags in the living room & then you're going to have to wash them before you put them back & I said so you're going to spray the living room and you're gonna look at the other bedroom right? no he said... I'm only going to look in this bedroom and I looked him in the face and said that doesn't make sense - bugs have legs! He wouldn't even check my bathroom which is literally attached to my bedroom!!! OR my daughter's room!! you can see by my photo of his report - first he states no sign of infestation then in another column he says I checked out second room and the whole unit - 1,000,000% LIE . $1875 to spray one bedroom!!!! I called them up, asked how much is the cost if I was just a regular person, this woman says now that you've told me you're at one of the apartment buildings we service we can't tell you what the price is ?? WTF ? I emailed my manager asked $1875 when he's only going to spray one bedroom? I wait for someone to show for the appt. an hour & a half goes by. I go to the manager's office he calls up this company the woman says oh you never confirmed the appointment & the manager says we signed the contract that's the confirmation & she says no that wasn't confirmed so we gave the appointment to someone else ! I have OCD I literally started half screaming & sobbing in front of the managers from living in this mess. The only other appt they had would be five days from then ! my manager said to me I will let you contact an outside vendor if you want- I said it's 5 o'clock on a Friday! I called many many pesticide companies I kept getting AI answering machines. I then called Fenn pest control.A live sweet lady answered. I was sobbing on the phone, I begged her to help but she said the guys have been working since 7 AM.. she said let me call around and see if someone's willing to come today .. at that point it was after 6 pm. Kevin showed up near 7 pm THANK GOD ! I told him the other guy refused to look at the rest of the apartment, he said none of that makes sense, bedbugs go from room to room on your clothes. We've been in business for 75 years, were local & he said $300 for the entire apartment and we strip the mattresses and spray baseboards, closets ,everything & the price was very normal in LA. He said I'll have to come back and do a second spraying because the eggs hatch -he came back for $300 more. I was absolutely thrilled . I watched him through my balcony door window, he ripped everything apart I was so impressed! He was very kind -I'm literally crying while I'm writing this cause it was so traumatic... Thank God!! that moron receptionist canceled my appointment Why would ThatGuy refuse to look around ? if they found more bugs in other rooms - were they gonna charge me even more?? For damn sure they would've charged me for a second visit that same amount or more !! Damn them to hell!!! those fucking pieces of shit!! They are stealing money from people that are forced! by apts to use them. I do not in any way blame my managers Eddie or Raymundo- they were genuinely upset FOR me & they understood the trauma I was going thru but they were FORCED to use this company by the other EVIL company Greystar !!! Do you even vet the vendors you're forcing people to use??? Or are you guys in on the scam and taking a part of the money?? Greystar can't be that stupid !! I one million percent recommend FENN pest control services in Los Angeles and Kevin )) . And I'm telling you now, ThatGuy pest control are truly money grabbing pieces of shit !! read more

If I could give them 0 star I would! They charged you monthly just on time how ever the technician never on time! Not even showing up with 4 hour window! Didn't bother to call! I called talked to the office manager Michelle she said oh not sure what happened! Let me schedule you for the next week! Worst experience ever! read more

So far I've had a wonderful experience with this company. Drew responded back quickly and was timely, helpful, friendly, and straightforward. Juan came out quickly to assess the termite situation and was professional and honest with his approach. He let me watch how he inspects and explained everything to me as he performed the inspection. Their prices were very fair and Juan did a thorough job and let me decide whether I wanted my painter to fill the very small holes or if I wanted him to. I appreciated that experience enough to then sign up for their general pest control services. Kevin has come twice so far and he is friendly, professional, and thorough. Everyone from their admin staff to their technicians have been wonderful to work with so far! read more

Had an amazing experience with Fenn Termite! From the start, I inquired through Yelp Projects and directly messaged Drew, who was incredibly helpful and quickly got me scheduled for a free on-site consultation. I had previously gotten an inspection from another company, but their soonest availability for treatment was three weeks out. Drew was able to offer us same-day treatment, which was such a huge plus! On the appointment day, we received a 30-minute courtesy call from Fidel, the manager, letting us know he was on his way, and he arrived right on time. He thoroughly assessed the affected areas, was extremely knowledgeable, worked efficiently, and was very honest throughout the process. He even went the extra mile and vacuumed one of the crawl-space areas that had droppings. Fidel was friendly, professional, and the price was significantly better than what the other company quoted us. We're so glad we chose Fenn! It's clear this company genuinely cares about their customers, and they definitely earned a repeat customer. We'll absolutely be calling Fenn for any future termite or pest issues (and learned they offer pest control services too!). Thank you Drew, Fidel, and the entire Fenn Team--we truly appreciate you! read more

Juan did the inspection of our home and underneath our crawl spaces to establish if there was termites or rodents. He did a fabulous job and was so professional and respectful. He inspected the home deeply and provided his recommendations and input right away, explaining everything clearly. I was really impressed with the service I received from this company, the responsiveness and professionalism of Juan. I cannot recommend them highly enough and will use them again in the future as needed. read more

Brian was our service guy a few months ago when we spotted some termite droppings around the inside of some older windows. He was very thorough, checked everything out and treated the areas and cleaned up before leaving. Today, he came back to look at an area on the outside that we hadnt notice or asked about before. He advised it it wasn't termites but woodrot. A really nice guy and the company is great too. read more

Quick, polite and professional and more affordable than the competitors. I meant to do this sooner and now I've forgotten the gentlemen's names - so sorry. But there was one that did the inspection and two the day of service and all were so sweet and accommodating. read more

Jacob as our service guy he was very professional and friendly. He explained the process thoroughly. This was spraying for insect especiallly the ants who were taking over. No more ant or other pest. read more

Fenn has been servicing our house for years and so a great job. They are friendly and helpful. We used them for a fumigation as well. And more recently, some wood repairs on water damaged doors. Saul was effective and helpful. read more

I had hired Fenn for an inspection and rodent removal service last year. Their rates were competative and reasonable. Their guy found where the mouse was entering the house and he set traps and ultimately the tenants found it dead under the oven. It was mostly a good experience except for the melted rat glue I had to spend hours clenaing up. So, when my mom discovered termites flying iaround the livingroom, I called around for quotes. No oine would give me one over the phone. They all had to come out and do an inspections first. A few wanted to charge for just the inspection alone. So I called and hired Fenn's Termite department to send out inspectors. Juan showed up on time with his partner and they inspected the holes in the livingroom, exterior of the house and underneath in the crawl space. His guy suited up with a mask and did a long inspection and took photos to show me. The termites were building towers up to the wood floors and eating the wood. Juan suggested they do a subterranean treatment by spraying into the soil and the wood to get rid of all termites and ants and anything elses. He also suggested we tent the whole house but due to my parent's health issues, that wasn't going to be possible. We went with the spraying onlly. About a week and a half later, Fidel and Elijah showed uip in their truck on time. They even called ahead. They drilled a few holes in the livignroom floor, sprayed and sealed it. Then they got to work suiting uip and getting into the crawl space to spray. They spend a coutple of hours and assured me that all the termites and ants wouildn't be a problem anymore. There was a 1 year warranty and Fidel told me if for any reason we did see insects within the 1 year period, I could call them and they'd come out and take care of it. Fidel and Elijah were professional and polite. I would hire them again and recommend them to anyhone in need of termite service. Thank you Fenn. read more

Second year I've hired them to spray my home for bugs. Same technician arrived, remembered our house and knew the problem areas and bugs. Did a great and fast job treating the int/ext. Would love if they had two monthly subscription options though. Would strongly consider $35/mo for bi-annual treatments. read more

Excellent service! Both times the technicians arrived right at the start of the estimated window, and they were both very communicative and kind. Javier and Antonio were both highly professional and did a great job spraying my place for fleas. They gave specific instructions and now the problem has been solved! read more

I tried to avoid having to write this but now I hope that others can learn from my experience as I myself found Fenn based on its positive Yelp reviews. I fostered a dog in November 2024, and when she was adopted, I stored her leftover kibble bags in my garage thinking they would be fine as they were still factory sealed. Then just before xmas 2024, I saw that mice had gotten into them. Fenn sent a tech named Antonio. I really appreciated his courtesy and thorough explanations. I was told that after the initial trap setting and follow up at $225, I would be charged $75 for subsequent service calls I requested. Fair enough. On 12/23/24, I thought I heard trapped mice, so I told Fenn and Antonio came out that day to check. As my own office had already closed for xmas, I felt I had made a big ask, and was so appreciative that I tipped Antonio $50. I disclose this tip only as context, so that you can see that, for me, at least, this is about principle more than the money; no one should be forced into paying $75 for a service they never asked for even if they can afford a $50 tip for the same kind of call made on xmas eve eve. Also for context, I would reach out to Fenn by Yelp message, and if I ever called them, it was due to being asked to; I prefer DMs over calls. On 1/5/25, I messaged Fenn about trapped mice and was told it would cost $75 for someone to come out to deal with them, which I was fine with bc I asked for the follow up. Antonio came out on 1/6/25 and I had to take off from work to be home to let him in. And this is where it started to go off the rails. He had already been to so many houses - I think he said I was his 6th or 7th that day - that he had run out of traps and couldn't set any more. So in that sense this was a wasted trip. Antonio returned on 1/8/25. I had to take off from work again to be home to let him in. New traps were set and remained empty. Then my infestation was gone and I never reached out to Fenn to come back. Instead, FENN CALLED ME to schedule a visit to check the traps. No fee was mentioned. And though I did not understand the need for this, I went along with Fenn's request bc Fenn is the expert, right? I even postponed at one point as I was going to have to stay home from work yet again to accommodate this visit and the time Fenn had proposed was not good for me; obviously, based on my entire course of dealing with this company, if this were a visit I myself had asked for, I would have tried to move it up and not back bc it would have meant there were dying mice in my garage, but I felt no such urgency as there were no mice and I did not initiate this visit. Antonio ultimately came on 1/20/25 and picked up all the traps, which were empty and which I would happily have left in place; I had already paid for them, they were not bothering anyone here as they were all set up in out of the way spots (e.g., under the utility sink), it's not like Fenn could reuse glue boards, and I could just as easily have picked up some glue covered cards and disposed of them if I had wanted to do so -- I needed help with handling rodents, not cardboard. Weeks later, I got a message saying I was past due on my bills. Which was alarming bc I paid every invoice I had received. It was also baffling bc I had only asked for one visit in 2025, but suddenly there were 2 overdue bills for $75? At first, I thought Fenn had inadvertently billed me for the 1/8/25 visit that had only been necessitated by the fact that it had sent Antonio out with insufficient supplies. But then I was told for the very first time that I was being billed for the random last visit that I never asked for or wanted. That is wrong to me. I frankly would have been fine if the glue boards were still in place in my garage today. I have explained this to various different people at the Fenn office but nevertheless got another call last week about my alleged "past due bill" for what, I don't even know. I explained it again, and then today, 4/29/25 I got a call telling me that there was a screenshot of a Yelp thread where I was clearly being told that there would be a $75 fee for this random and pointless 1/20/25 visit. Knowing no such thing existed, I waited to see this "evidence"... and I was sent the attached screenshot, reflecting only that I was told that a $75 fee would be charged for the 1/6/25 visit that I initiated on 1/5/25 by reporting that there were mice in the traps. You can see that there was no such report by me for the 1/20/25 visit, only me asking to postpone a visit that was not necessary much less urgent, and obviously not caring if it slipped even to the following week. And you can see there was nothing from Fenn to the effect that it would try to charge me another $75. In sum, Antonio is a good and honest tech. But, unfortunately, the same does not hold true for Fenn as a business and I feel strongly that other consumers be warned about its billing practices. read more

Amazing customer service and very reasonable prices. They helped get rid of my flea problem in 2 weeks!

I'm a big fan of Fenn! These guys are the real deal when it comes to termites. Not only did they save my sanity, but they also saved me a boatload of money compared to the other guys like Orkin who wanted to fumigate my whole house. No thanks, Orkin, I'll stick with Fenn! Right from the get-go, Fenn showed me they mean business. Their team was on the ball, responding to my call and able to come out in one day. When the technician showed up, they were all smiles and ready to kick those termites to the curb. They knew their stuff, trust me. These people are termite experts, and they made me feel like I was in good hands. So, here's the deal. Orkin wanted to fumigate my entire house, and I was like, "Hold on a minute, how much is that gonna cost me?" Apparently Orkin doesn't do spot treatments, and tried a scare tactic and high pressure sales to try to get me to buy a $16K fumigation. That's when Fenn swooped in with their spot treatment magic. They said they could target the problem areas on our 3 balconies directly, saving me the hassle of packing up and moving out for days on end. And the best part? It was way cheaper than the fumigation nightmare Orkin was trying to sell me. Fenn zeroed in on the spots with termites, drilling to make sure they caught all of the spaces, injecting the liquid into the wood. They showed me what was going on and explained everything that they were doing, and told me what to look for to prevent future issues. Most importantly, Fenn really knows how to treat their customers right. They were open and honest, answering all my questions and giving me solid advice on how to prevent future termite headaches. And the best part? They did it all with a smile and a friendly attitude. These folks are the kind of people you want to have in your corner. So, my final verdict? I highly recommend Fenn. They saved me from a costly fumigation disaster, delivered outstanding results with their spot treatment, and treated me like family along the way. If you're dealing with those nasty termites, don't waste your time with anyone else! read more

Oh man great service and price! Called the big companies first and they came in at like $8000 for tenting my house for termites, thank god I found these guys cuz they came in at $2500! And they do the exact same thing the big guys do, they just don't mark it up as much, pretty ridiculous change of price in quotes for normal one story house, but I'm glad I found them! read more

The office staff were friendly, informative and responsive. I called manager Fidel, and he answered my questions. Tony came this morning. He was polite, professional, and helpful. I had a great experience with Fenn! When Juan Salas came to inspect the space, he was on time, courteous and professional. Jessy explained how the treatment process is going to be before they started and answered all of my questions at the end. Their treatment was also very thorough. Their rate is reasonable. Communication with the office is always nice. Fenn will be my choice from now on. read more

Was expecting to have my apt sprayed Friday per the manager I removed everything from cabinets and moved furniture to prepare. 10 am. No fenn 11 -12 no fenn. I ask my manager for an eta. They tell him between 1-3. I'm thinking who gets sprayed in the afternoons we'll have to be out of the house for 4 hours how inconsiderate but ok fine. 3 o'clock no show. I rescheduled. Only for them to show up at 3:30. Dewey's would never. This company is inconsiderate of the customers & tenants. And they need to know that nobody wants to be out of the house for hours starting in the after noon after waiting for them all day. read more

We had a great experience with Kevin from Fenn! We had some fleas that kept appearing on our dogs despite treatment so he came and sprayed down the house twice for a flat fee of $250. It takes a few hours before you can enter the house again so keep that in mind but it worked! We have not seen a flea since and Kevin was very responsive and followed exactly what I asked for in the house. Definitely recommend! read more

Outstanding customer service, will definitely hire them easy to communicate and affordable.

I have been using Fenn for quarterly pest control for over a year now. Originally, we had ants one evening, and Fenn was able to not only treat them indoors but also outdoors. We no longer see them in the grass outside and haven't seen any inside either. Occasionally we get spiders, and Fenn will come out to treat inside the house upon request. Spiders are tricky to get rid of, but we do notice a reduced amount after they spray. I don't recall the names of all the technicians, but we've had 3 or 4 and they have all been nice, courteous, and professional. Recently, we found out that our house has termites (classic home ownership). One of the technicians, Tobias, was incredibly helpful in not only discussing the current situation but also what to do going forward. After he left, I followed up with a couple of random calls and Tobias was so knowledgeable and friendly to talk to. read more

We were given a four hour window (8am-12pm). The employee (sorry...I didn't catch his name; my husband was the one that handled it) called to let us know he would be arriving in 20 minutes and within 30 minutes of arriving, he removed 7 wasp nest pods. Though we wanted him to arrive closer to the beginning of the service window, we figured our home was just added to his schedule. We reached out to businesses Sunday evening and Fenn Termite & Pest Control was one of the first businesses to respond. A day and a half after reaching out, our problem is solved. I'd recommend Fenn Termite & Pest Control for their excellent response time, reasonable pricing, and efficient service! I hope to never need them again, but, if I do, I'm definitely reaching out again. read more

Had our house inspected for termite damage, we knew we had some, they were prompt and friendly and provided a report quickly. We agreed with their assessment and to the cost of repair so they could have a crew here within two days to start repairs. Got to say the stellar reviews are spot on, appreciate the reasonable pricing and excellent service. Will be calling Fenn for all of our termite and pest control needs. Thank you. read more

Had Fenn termite do a full termite inspection on my home in May 2023 when I purchased the home. They noted a flawless inspection. No evidence of any present termite infestation. No subterranean termites either. Their report was flawless and clean. 11 months later I had another company do a termite inspection and the home now allegedly has reports of dry rot/fungus, recommended tenting for active termite infestation and also allegedly now there are also subterranean termites. Second company is recommending tenting the home at a significant cost. I think Fenn blew it on last year's inspection and they're not willing to do anything to address the problem. I would suggest hiring a better termite inspection company who stands by their work. read more

Fenn is fantastic! When I first met their representative, Michael, I found him to be incredibly knowledgeable on how best to eliminate the pests in homes. Jesus from Fenn was extremely helpful when we discovered a mouse living in our yard had made it into our garage. We probably overreacted, but instead of getting traps called Fenn. Jesus was the first to respond and get out to us the following day. He took one look at our situation and told us that if it's one mouse we'll probably catch it with the traps we already put out. He walked us through the characteristics of rodents and how to keep them away. We were so impressed with his knowledge and honesty. We will definitely call again if we ever encounter pests again! P.S. We never caught the mouse but are pretty sure he was dinner for a local stray cat. read more
