We had a terrible ant problem and store bought ant control products weren't working. I called innovative Pest Management and scheduled an appointment. Darrell arrived promptly at the scheduled time and went to work. Most ants were gone within a few days. But after a week, we still had a few stragglers congregating at the kitchen sink. I called a week later and Matt came within the hour and put some bait where these persistent ants still congregated. This did the trick as we haven't had any ants in a couple of weeks. I have not received service from them in months and was not being billed. I figured that my contract with them ended. In all of 2024 they never called, emailed, or reached out to me about scheduling a time to do come out for treatment. When I first had them do a monthly treatment, I had Matt that would call and schedule a day when they would show up to the house. After a year, I stopped receiving calls from Matt. I noticed that I was not getting billed for service. Fast forward to November 2024, I received a bill from them from past treatments that supposedly they came out to do. They never came out. I have security cameras and funny that my cameras don't go off when the pest control is there but it does go off when the mailman, food delivery, strangers pass by, neighbors walking by, or people walking up to my house. I reached out to them by phone and email. They have not reached out to me or responded to me. I checked my bank account today and noticed that I was charged for service. I have rats in my attic and I had five rodent control companies come out to identify any external accesses, and Matt from Innovative Pest Management was the only one to see that the cover of one of my vents on the roof was half open. This company offers a great service at a fair price ($450 for external sealing and rodent trapping). I also want to share my bids so you don't need to compare five bids yourself (it's a lot lol). For comparison, other rodent companies quoted me 3k to do external sealing + rodent trapping, or more than 6k to include a full attic clean out. I did reach out to insulation companies to find out that attic clean out of my attic size (720 sq ft) should only cost about 1000. The takeaways are: 1. When a rodent company tries to ask you about your interior square footage, run. (They are trying to milk the heck out of you by putting a unit price on your interior square footage even though it has nothing to do with the interior.) 2. When a rodent company can't give you a starting price range for their rodent service, run. 3. When a rodent company says that you need a full clean out of your attic otherwise the rats will fight their way back - listen to Matt's father who's been in the business for over 40 years: as long as the exterior is sealed, they can't get in. Anyways, if you're still reading this, this is a great rodent control company and I definitely recommend! read more

We have been loyal customers for about 4 years now. As a homeowner the last thing we want to deal with are pests from rats, ants, silverfish , etc. So Darrell from Innovative Pest Management is our "go-to" expert to help us get rid of our pest problems. Response rate: Really responsive. If they don't pick up the phone immediately , leave a voicemail. I think the longest I've had to wait on a return call was 2 hours, and I called around closing time. Service: Always on time. Very cordial and appreciate the time and effort Darrell takes to understand the whole situation before he determines a solution . He's not in the business of up-selling, not in the business of adding more than necessary. Very direct and honest. Pricing : it's a bit on the higher end , but that's because they do not try to sell you on a monthly subscription like most vendors. Price is totally worth it, they usually come once and I see results almost immediately. Overall: let me put it into perspective here. We have an option to pay each month to have another pest control vendor spray our house for ants and etc. Yet we still prefer to pay around $100-$200 price range and call Innovative Pest Management twice a year to actually solve the problem. I love this family run business. I had tons if black ants this summer. They worked with me and my inflexible schedule. They rescheduled twice. When Darrell came he was efficient and explained that we were nit to kill the animal s so they could bring the gel poison back to the nest. For four years, we have struggled mightily with huge invasions of ants often on all year long. Two previous pest companies were unable to conquer the problem. Their dogs can't detect bed bugs I've had them do inspections for four months and they fail to recognize theres a problem so the use a chemical to spray but in the research look for it yourself, pesticide alone doesn't work washing and drying doesn't kill bed bugs, they didn't even have a plan or keep me in the loop with what's going. The women on the phone will never give you the supervisor and they are rude and hang up. I wouldn't trust them. read more

First all the points of entry to the crawlspace underneath our house were sealed up. (we had 3 open holes under our house where they were getting in) Next. Traps. We just moved into a house with our newborn and thought we had a rat problem so we called a green company first to come check and give us a quote. The guy checked the attic for a min and came back down saying that we had an infestation - feces, urine, and dead rats throughout the attic. He quoted us almost $4000 to safely quarantine, remove and replace the insulation, as well as rat-proof the house. We almost booked them to do the job but wanted at least one more quote. So, we called this company (Innovative) to come out to quote. Carl came, looked thoroughly around the house, then checked the attic. He told us we didn't have rats. That, contrary to what the last guy had told us, he found NO evidence of rats, and the screens in the attic were NOT broken. Of course, since we were so panicked and convinced we had rats, I told him what the last guy had said in detail. He very nicely just asked how the guy knew that, if he had any special equipment, since he never saw any evidence and finally said, "I run a family business and don't play those kind of games with people". He said if we were still worried he would set some traps that we could check later (he gave them to us and set them up in the attic for free), or if we were squeamish, just call him, and he would come check them (for free). He was amazingly nice, professional, and above all else, HONEST!!! He even came back 2 days later without us calling to check the traps. It's official - we don't have rats. Let's face it. It's not easy to find honest and reliable people to do the work they do nowadays. I've experienced that first hand in other service sectors. But, Matt from Innovative Pest Management has not disappoint me. I called them twice for two different reasons. One was because I had fleas in my yard due to the strays cats and another was because we had ants problem inside and outside. Matt came both times and was very professional. He only treated the exterior but the results were a success. The fleas are gone and I have not seen an ant in my house since March. I called them because of ants infestation and also a wasp nest. Before calling them we used to occasionally spray outside our house and then treat the inside with ants trap but the ants would always come back. The technician came on time and based on what I told him he suggested to treat only the outside of the house and not the inside. I have no idea what type of treatment he did but a few weeks later I haven't seen a single ant - even outside where I used to see a lot. Much more efficient than any of the DIY treatments we tried ourselves before - these would reduce the population but they would always come back. He also got rid of the wasp nest very quickly.
