If you're craving pho, this is the spot! The broth at New Pho Ok is hands down the best I've ever had -- super fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. You can truly taste the time and passion that goes into every bowl. The ingredients are always fresh, and the portions leave you completely satisfied. This place has been around for a very long time and has definitely earned its reputation -- even voted Best Vietnamese Cuisine in 2021! The service is always friendly and quick, making every visit a great experience. I can't wait to come back for another bowl. Highly recommend for any pho lovers out there! . and their tea is out of this world they gave me two teas to go !!! thank you

Chicken thigh pho

Was craving chicken pho and was glad to find a spot that serves chicken thigh with the bone in. I find it a lot more flavorful than your typical chicken breast pho. And the nice lady working gave me a free fruit. Also is Cambodian owned, so I'm glad to support my people!

R3. Took half of it home. Good portions and greens to help after a cruise.

Coming off a 4 day cruise, the guys wanted some home cooked pho before going home. We came upon this establishment after the primary location we were going to was closed. I can't speak for the others but I ordered the R3. I would so a disservice to try and put the name down. Portion was generous. The business was owned by a really nice couple who was waiting for us since we got off the boat around 8am. One of our buddies called ahead and said party of 9! Old school feel to the restaurant. Fit the vibe and the food.

Bun with pork, shrimp and eggroll

There's a large parking lot to the side of the restaurant and the servers are welcoming. I ordered a Thai iced tea and bun vermicelli with pork, shrimp and eggrolls while hubby had pho with chicken and shrimp. It was satisfying and portions were good but the flavors were okay. Best taste was the Thai iced tea and homey atmosphere!

Bean sprouts and basil, lime and jalapeño

Needed a quick bite around Long Beach and decided to give this place a try. They have a parking lot next to the restaurant, so parking is not an issue. The decor is very basic and simple. I presume the couple on the floor are the owners. They are really nice and friendly. We just ordered two bowls of pho, the #P1 and #P6. They come in two sizes, regular and large. We went with the regular. P1 is the Dac Biet (special) which has everything including tendon, tripe, brisket, rare meat, meat ball, etc. P6 comes with rare meat and brisket.' The portion size was good, plenty of noodles and meat. The broth was tasty and didn't seem to have a lot of MSG. At least I didn't feel thirsty after eating. Prices are really reasonable. It's nothing fancy but pretty solid for a bowl of reasonably priced pho.

Great price and also the food is good and the owners are really nice and attentive. Their pho is really good and good for hangovers

My first time here was almost 10 years ago, and I came back today having an amazing experience. The broth was delicious and the owners were extremely sweet. The husband and wife who own the place were very accommodating and gave us some free bananas and some spices to go. They are extremely generous and if these were my parents, I'd be so proud to have such hardworking and kind parents!

The broth was cozy and service was friendly. Everything was delicious from the tea to the beef pho. Love this place!

I got the rare steak pho and it was delicious. And so affordable. The broth was perfect. Just what I needed on a rainy day.

Delicious dependable dispensary of Khmer noodles, with AND without soup!…read more When you get there, use the kiosk so the staff know how many are in your group. When seated, enjoy. My usual order is their house special soup (SO good, get it)!, but this time I decided to try their fish noodle soup (not bad). When ordering a noodle soup, you can get the soup on the side ("dry") - and if you do, there'll be a pork bone inside! I was lucky enough to get a big honking pork bone with lots of fat. So I ended up getting a fish soup to cut down on my pork intake, but ended up with a pork-y soup. As one does. Friendly, attentive staff. Credit accepted. Street parking. They've got an app that provides discounts, but I haven't tried it yet.

INCREDIBLE dishes - we got the dry noodle dish which came with a bone broth on the side, and Mo's special porridge with the donut. I need to have this again. Plenty of self-service sauces/condiments on the side- traditional Asian eating. It was busy but service was reasonable. The staff were friendly in helping us choose what to order. It was such a nice time. Plenty of street parking around. It's cozy and traditional, what more can you ask for?

Possibly the most important restaurant in all of America for the Cambodian Diaspora. They serve…read moredishes and soups that have long been forgotten in some Cambodian households. The flavors are authentic and invoke nostalgia in the older generations and reconnection to their roots for the young. For those not well versed in cambodian cuisine, what this restaurant is making is not easy and the quality they are able to provide is impressive. Outside of the well known dishes with kreung - lemongrass paste, there are other dishes you won't find anywhere except in the the old world. Things like like the nhom svay- papaya salad with dried fish, or the Machu Srae - farmers fish soup, are complex with a unique mixtures of ingredients like banana blossoms and lotus, that deliver the familiar southeast asian sweet, sour, and salty umami flavor but with a signature that is uniquely Cambodian. You won't find this place recommended on infatuation or tagged with a Michelin bib gourmand simply because nobody understands Cambodian cuisine. But the community does and Cambodians from across the US and even back in the old world knows of this place. It's a must visit. Restaurants come and go. They get sold off remodeled and change for better or worse. I just felt compelled to write a review about it's current state so hopefully more people are aware and can enjoy what it is now because if we don't, places like these will go extinct.

However while we waited they took our order so when we sat down the food didn't take long. We stumbled upon this restaurant on Yelp then headed here based on the pictures. There was plenty of parking when we arrived and we were seated immediately because there wasn't really anyone inside on a weekday afternoon. We couldn't decide between what to get because everything looked so good and we were hungry, so we ended up getting the beef sticks, beef larb and angel chicken wings. The beef sticks were probably one of the most flavorful beef sticks I have tried in my life. You're instantly hit with so many different flavors while it's hot. This is something we would get again. The beef larb was a little too tangy and sour for my boyfriend's taste, but he still enjoyed it. He also said the beef in the larb was a little chewy for him, but it wasn't a big issue for him. I enjoy eating sour foods, but it did have us sweating inside haha. I loved the combination of veggies mixed in with the larb and the cabbage definitely helped cut out some of the sourness. The angel chicken wings! Probably one of my favorites because of all the lemongrass and turmeric added inside. The chicken was crispy on the outside yet so juicy on the inside. I also like that they cut up the wings into pieces for you. I'm glad we can across this restaurant on Yelp and got to try it. Next time, I would try the soups like the babaw (porridge) or the nom banh chok (fish rice noodles) because they were items I was deciding between that's still lingering through my mind right now.
