Loved this place! My brother was visiting for the holidays and always was a big fan of Mongolian Bbq style. Did some searching and found this place, and this place did not disappoint! The restaurant layout was perfect and accommodated my huge family comfortably. There is no limit on the buffet other than 2 bowls at a time and no take out for left overs. They have all the good topping options! Lots of great fresh veggies, tofu, noodles, and then the meats are thinly sliced and frozen which is typical for mongolian bbq. Lots of great sauce options! Also included is fresh steam rice and soft served ice cream. For adults it's $23.99 and kids $11.99, which is not bad at all especially if you can eat more than one plate. Service was on top of everything, kept filling up our water pitchers and picking up empty plates. Seen them cleaning and refilling the buffet often. Highly recommend coming here, such a fun and delicious experience.
My bf and his friends have been coming here for years and we were able to eat here after my LASIK follow up appointment. I used to go to a spot in Concord for Mongolian bbq so I was pretty excited to try this place out for the first time. We both got two plates of food for only $19.99 a person! The ice cream was also pretty good and came with the price of our meal. If we had more room, we probably would have eaten another one.

The place was half full at about 6:15pm on a Thursday night. We sat outside and enjoyed the evening. Everyone left very full.

We walked in with a party of 17 and the staff was quick to accommodate and stayed on top of clearing our table, etc. The items were refilled often so everything was available and our line moved along even though there was only one person on the grill. Everyone was happy with the food and the service. Also a plus that it is located across from a Paris Baguette for more dessert.
It's all you can eat. Friday night dinner, $21.99 a person. They have meat: chicken, lamb, pork, & beef, and vegetables: chestnuts, tofu, broccoli, bean sprouts, green peppers, onions and a few more to choose from. I would put meat in one bowl and vegetables in the other so you know what you have. The noodles are at the end. Then there's ladles of sauce to choose from. You bring up your raw food and the guy at the end puts it on a big round grill and cooks it up for you. My son complains he puts all the sauces on and the cook waters it all down when he pours his pitcher of water over it while cooking because the sauces are already watered down and the flavor isn't strong enough. There is a pot of rice and egg rolls too, if you prefer rice instead of noodles. I think it's okay occasionally but my family really likes Mongolian bbq.
So glad to have found an ayce Mongolian bbq spot close by. Back in college, we had a Mongolian grill and it was one of my favorite options when everything else didn't quite fit my taste buds. There's a variety of meats and veggies to choose from along with amazing sauces and spices to flavor up your noods. They also have a soft serve machine to definitely save some space Staff is very friendly and the chef is quick so you'll have a hot bowl of noodles ready in no time. It's a very spacious restaurant so plenty of spots to chose from
Tried out this AYCE mongolian bbq place for Friday dinner and had some nice seating outdoors. It's fully shaded with a light breeze, and some guy playing piano (probably only on Friday evenings) making for a nice ambiance. Food is all picked yourself using one or two bowls and then mixed and cooked by their chef on the stove. You can go back all you want, and they have an ice cream machine with cones for dessert. Most of the food was decent, a couple ingredients were questionable on their quality/freshness like the pineapple. Ice cream was a bit more like donut cream tasting, but all the food was still acceptable. Service was very fast and friendly.
We came on a Friday at lunch time and we were the only two people in the place. It reminded us of the Santa Clara location that closed down. The food was great, just how we remembered. The service was great, very friendly, very quick and efficient. We will be coming back with friends and family. They even have ice cream!
The food is amazing!!! Well, you can get one or two bowls. For me, I got two bowls. One for the meat and one for the noodles since the noodles would be hard to fit with the meat. There is a recommendation for the sauce for your meat but I prefer to do it yourself and it will taste amazing!!! If you like corn, I low-key do not get it with your Mongolian BBQ because once it is cooked it is super hard to bite. The service is okay. The chef cooking your meal is super nice and will get your food as quickly as possible which is a plus. However, I was annoyed that the cashier gave us only two napkins when there is three of us. To me, it sounds like he was very stingy with giving napkins. Like why are you only giving us a few napkins? This is worth trying if you want some AYCE Mongolian BBQ

LOVE this place and had a craving! Eat all you want, WHAT you want. I chose the chicken with noodles and tons of fresh veggies. The sauces I chose for cooking were Garlic, House Soy, Oil, and Terriyaki. Finished it off with toasted sesame seeds. We ate outside, and the weather was lovely. Delish! If they could offer better water, instead of from the tap, that would be up to 5 stars. The water is not good. read more

Walked in and didnt rralize we couldn't seat ourselves. Chose a table and started walking over until I heard someone say "excuse me" pretty rudely and loudly and gave us a stare that could cut through rock. He led us to a table and sat us down for two adults. My stroller is blocking the walkway pretty much. Im taken aback at how he jiat stared at us from once we walked in until we decided on a seat and started walking before he even attempted to say anything, like, yellow, welcome in"?! Anyways, something smelled like it was rotting. It was pretty unwelcoming to eat with that stench in the air. No one came by to ask us how we were or if we needed anything else. Not the best customer service. Food was decent enough i slaw but the sauces you add on her washed away with the amount of water they use to cook your mixing in. It was a hot day and it felt even hotter inside the place so I was surprised thwy gave a pitxhwr of water with no ice. It was luke warm water! Overall glad i tried the place but would not come back. read more
Always walked past and was intrigued, not really seeing too many Mongolian BBQ places in the Bay. I was quite disappointed. The meat quality is not that great - worse than typical AYCE places. The vegetable selection also was a bit limited as well. Overall did not feel too hygienic. The indoor seating felt a bit stuffy, probably due to the wok, so most people sat outside. I feel it's a bit of a shame - they definitely could get more customers by really highlighting the wok, or making it a bit more of a spectacle - it didn't feel that the chef really enjoyed the job. read more

One of the most affordable AYCE options in the Bay Area! Had a great dine-in experience here for a Sunday dinner- the staff were super friendly and let us cook multiple bowls of ingredients since we came in near closing so we could keep eating past closing time. Solid selection of protein (beef, chicken, pork, lamb, tofu) and vegetables. The chef was so efficient and cooked the meat perfectly. Pretty casual dining environment, and other than the cooked ingredient bowls, there are eggrolls, rice, and vanilla ice cream available for AYCE as well. This seems like a standard Mongolian barbecue, but the food is fresh and the service is quick and friendly. They even have a very nice vanilla ice cream for dessert if you have room! I really enjoyed the authentic decorations. read more

Wow it's been so long since I've had Mongolian BBQ. We came after a hike for an early dinner on Sunday. The hostess/waitress was the sweetest older lady. Maybe the owner? She was so attentive and kind. And told us hiw it all works. Anx reminded us to get our egg rolls and ice cream! Also egg drop soup is also available from the back! There was a good selection of meats, veggies and sauces. It wasnt too busy when we were in so everything moved pretty fast. I just wish i had more space to eat more! read more
I passed New Mongolian BBQ while attending Taste of Mountain View. The owners are very friendly and sweet. I conversed in chinese with the female staff and she was super friendly! The spot is AYCE with as many trips as you want. They have beef, lamb, chicken, and pork as well as some veggies and the sauce bar. There's also fried vegetable egg rolls and rice that's self serve. Also, there's soft serve! Not visible anywhere is the sesame pocket bread (shaobing) upon request. The chefs are really friendly as well. Overall, good spot. Dinner is $18.99 per person. read more

Service and staff was great. The meat is low quality and very fatty. I loaded a bowl full of sauces and my dish had no taste. Its like tgey dilute their sauces. The smell of the meat was so awful after they cooked it that I could not eat it. I poured half a bottle of soy sauce and that didn't so justice either. NEVER coming back. read more
Came here with some coworkers on a Thursday for lunch. It was my first time here. We were seated immediately. It's all you can eat self serve. The only con is at lunch rush the line gets a bit long since there's only one person cooking your food. I'd recommend coming here if your lunch time isn't time restricted, otherwise you'll end up rushing. You're allowed 2 bowls for them to cook at a time, but the bowls are pretty small. My 2 bowls ended up being full of meat and veggies, so by the time i got to the noodles I didn't have much space left in my bowls. There's lots of veggie options and 3-4 meat options. There's also some eggrolls to snack on, and an ice cream machine with cones for dessert. Pricing per person with tip ended up being about $20. Unfortunately, since it's all you can eat there's no to go boxes allowed even if you don't finish your food which I found a bit wasteful for some members in my party. read more

came here on a weekend around 1130 am and was one of the first groups at the restaurant. the price is $18 for AYCE noodles stir fried with meat, veggies, and sauce of your choosing. you grab a bowl and load up with whatever toppings you like. they have beef, lamb, chicken, and tofu for protein (no lamb available the day I went) and plenty of vegetables like cabbage, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli and more. and of course, you add your noodles in the end. there is rice and egg rolls available for sides as well. they give a couple suggests for sauce combinations as well before you hand your bowl over to be stir fried on the grill. even though it's unlimited, i recommend starting small so you can fine tune the flavors. the noodles were solid but i found the sauces a little lacking in flavor and the meat got a little tough after being cooked. but for just $18, this place is a great bang for your buck for anyone with a big appetite. don't forget to finish the meal with complimentary ice cream read more

I must say the hubs and I tried the New Mongolian BBQ and really enjoyed it. Staff was helpful and friendly. The cook knows his stuff and did an excellent job. The meats offered today were pork, beef, and chicken. There was no lamb today. The sauces we used were their house specialty and soy sauce. My husband added garlic to his plate. We opted to eat inside as it was just a little bit of chill in the air. They have canned pop for $2 and a pitcher of water is set at the table should you not want a pop/soda. They also have rice to eat and soft serve ice cream. read more
I have walked by this place so many times for years and never have I ventured in to try it. One day while out playing Pokemon Go my family and I could not resist the smell of the food that was wafting out onto Castro Street. The price is right under $15/person, but this is all you can eat Mongolian BBQ. So you grab 2 bowls and you fill one with meat (pork, beef, chicken, or lamb) and noodles. In your second bowl, you fill it with whatever vegetables you would like (there's about 15 to choose from) then you add a sauce (about 8 to choose from). With all these options the possible outcomes are enormous. They also have all you can eat eggrolls and ice cream. I would recommend this place. The only suggestion would be adding more vegetable options. If you want decent food, relatively cheap, but a large quantity, go here. read more

What's AYCE? Oh! all- you-can-eat! I think it's $24.99.
Do they still offer the bread rolls? Last time I went was 5 years ago and at the end of our meal they said you need to ask for them, they weren't automatically served.
