If you want to eat here, I would say choose somewhere else. The best thing about it was the price, $12.55 out the door for some orange chicken, rice, chow mein, and 1 egg roll. I wish I took a photo of the plate before I ate it, but after I ate it; these are all the small breaded pieces from the chicken that are left. Hardly any actual meat. And so many vegetables :( not worth it. Not somewhere you want to dine in at. I could've gotten a better plate at Panda Express I feel like

A fast food Chinese takeout place with spicy food! Safeway take out Chinese food and Wok On Express near me were too bland for my tastes. And Wok On was charging $16.95 for three items, soup and noodle. Time to look elsewhere. Always go to Lucky for their lowest priced Atlantic salmon, today $6.99/lb. Have to drive 4 miles round trip, through maybe 10 traffic lights each way. Next to Lucky is Joy Wok, a hole in the wall restaurant, with maybe three tables, as everyone does take out here. Food sitting in vats of hot water. $10.50 for noodles/rice and two items, $12.50 for three items. I always get the same thing: orange chicken, two orders of spicy fish, and noodles. Their chicken is really tangy, and their noodles greasy just the way I like it. Wife loves their spicy fish, each order of 4 strips of fish, lightly breaded, and hot and spicy. Can't find this elsewhere. The spicy fish is in the same vat every time, right in the middle in the second row. Today, I bring the order home, and wife says the spicy fish looks a bit larger than usual. Take a bite, and it's chicken!

This establishment is unsanitary and serves spoiled food. Decided to order from this place on DoorDash whilst desperately trying to satisfy a pregnancy craving for Chinese food -- the photos on yelp were decent and figured I'd give them a shot. My hot and sour soup was JUST sour. So so so sour! As if it was cooked a week or more ago -- ate one spoonful and poured it straight down the drain. Moved onto the next item which was chicken chow mein and there was a DEAD FLY SMEARED ON THE CONTAINER! At that point, I was scared to risk my health and the whole bag went straight into the trash. Stay away from this place if you don't want to risk food poisoning due to spoiled food and unsanitary practices.

A hidden gem for their banh mi and soups. Banh Mi (4/5): I get the Combination 1B Banh Mi (ham + pork roll) every time, the meats are fresh and tasty - there are about 3 cuts of meat + pâté. BIGGEST issue is that I don't taste any "bo" or butter on the bread. I really wish they put more butter. Soups (5/5): The hot and sour soup and wonton soup are seasoned for the soul! Garnished with fried shallots and fresh cilantro. The taste takes me back to the jubilant, bustling street food stalls of Vietnam/Asia. BEST thing about it is that it's only $5!! Great price! Service is spectacular, the kind ladies welcome everyone here in a homey manner. Highly recommend soups and the Combo Banh Mi.

Places like this deserve more credit vs big chain restaurants. I have found my new go to fast food restaurant.

It is a decent quick style pick and choose lunch but a bit more Asian flavors than Panda Express. One unique item is the spicy fried fish fillets which I enjoy. For the price you get ample portions to satisfy the hunger.

Honestly, I love this place. I've been meaning to type a review for a while now but never had a chance until now! Personally I order their hot food or their banh mi's since the price is right for the generous amount of food they give you. For food off their 'regular' menu, I personally recommend the Won Ton soup or the rice places!! The spring rolls are to die for too The workers there are super nice and chatty too once you become a regular like me also! I def would recommend giving this place a shot. 10/10!

I did not even know this place was there. Always go next door to get party supplies but never noticed the restaurant. They are still open when I get off work and I get to sit inside and eat my meal in peace. Pretty basic Chinese with interesting selection of drinks, for a good price. Will be bac

The combination of meat, veggies and the exterior crispy pancake created such an outstanding tasting effect. The lamb dish had one of the most tender meats I've tasted. The brown sugar sticky rice cake was soft inside and hard outside; with just the right amount of sweetness. Service was ok. They should've been kinder and more grateful. I liked how they have a sign posted on window saying that gratuity is at free will and you don't pay for the wrong dish they send to you. It showed accountability. That's why we keep coming back, for now.

There was no line for us to be seated. I was able to flag down a server to seat us since they seem to be extremely busy cleaning tables and servicing others. The hotpots are full of ingredients and the broth has always been tasty. Unfortunately, the meats seem to be overcooked. Prices have been going up over the years where only the monthly special is enticing for the value. Servers were friendly and checked in on us, but it took 25 minutes for our food to show up at our table after we ordered. The only consistent experience I've had are the oranges at the end of the meal. They are always amazingly sweet, juicy, and comes off the peel easily. I don't usually enjoy oranges, but I love the ones HomeEat offers! Will be back if in the area, but hope kitchen service will be quicker in the future.

We knew to go early, since they don't take reservations and we often see lines outside. We arrived at 10:30am and the front manager said if we can be done my 12:30, that they had a table for us. Party of 12, since we got there early, we agreed. The side room had the biggest round table for us. They ask you what kind of tea you want, we like chrysanthemum tea. You order the items on the paper menu and it comes to your table. So we got going on the orders and TBH, we must be hungry, because we did a lot of orders (we had plenty of left overs). Tried some favorites and a few new items that we thought were unique to their restaurant. My dad has to order crispy noodle and chow fun, and we also ordered chicken fried rice. The service was prompt and attentive, with enough servers to take care of the side room. Since it was the "sun room", the sun was shining through the windows and it was bright. Review from my parents: it was just meh, they prefer the other place near our house. I think the food is good, but probably won't come back again with a big group of us, since they don't have many big round tables. And personally, I prefer the whole experience of the ladies coming around with their carts. Perhaps their dinner menu is also worth trying. Bonus for us is that we can literally walk to this restaurant. Parking could be an issue if you come later.

Ironically, I'm not a fan of them myself--they're a bit too eggy for my taste. When it comes to dim sum quality and service, I honestly prefer Koi Palace. The food quality there is more consistent, and the service is much more phenomenal. The only things this place really has over Koi Palace are the lower prices and those black sesame custard buns my friend loves! I've been here at least a dozen times, and the food can be hit or miss. Sometimes dishes come out cold, like they've been sitting out for a while instead of being served fresh and hot. That said, there are a few items we always order that are consistently good when brought out fresh like salted crispy pork chops, siu mai, shrimp rolls, and fried calamari. Be prepared for a wait on weekends since it gets crowded. If you're coming with a large group, it's best to arrive before noon. The restaurant is located next to a hotel, and finding the restroom can be confusing since it's inside the hotel. Service is also pretty minimal--they seem understaffed, and I almost always have to flag someone down just to get basics like soy sauce, chili, and water. I don't understand why they don't just have the sauce on the table for guest to dip, but I get that they're saving $ on controlling the cost down. On my most recent visit, the experience really went downhill. Our table had food but no soy sauce, chilli nor water, and when I flagged a waiter multiple times, he got visibly annoyed and irritated. It was frustrating--we shouldn't have to chase someone down repeatedly for basic condiments. Being met with attitude for that honestly left a bad impression. That experience alone makes me reconsider coming back. Good food at a good price is one thing, but poor service--especially to that extent--can really ruin the overall experience.

The restaurant filled up nicely around noon which is good to see, dishes from regular menu we saw on other tables looked interesting and served in good portions. Overall, we had an enjoyable lunch with good tasting food and friendly service, price is comparable to other restaurants in the area. Easy parking is a plus.
