Good heat, about 1/2 an unseeded jalapeno's worth, while having all the fruity habanero notes. I dipped the chicken in that. Their spicy here is about 1/2 a seedless jalapeno. Don't expect really spicy if you're going here. I would not get the chili garlic unless I desired to ward of vampires. You can upgrade the fries in your meal to Cajun fries and I suggest you do so. The sweet and spicy fries are just Cajun fries with cheese and sauce topped on, so I would go with the Cajun fries. The mashed potatoes here are good, very butter and cream forward. The service here for ordering has been spectacular. Do note that for the most part, they sit in the back so just act confused and/or make some noise and someone should come and help you. I received a text when my food was ready, and it was pretty quick. When I got back to work, I was pleasantly surprised to find a little deep-fried egg roll. That was a nice treat. The noodles had very little color, were bland, and didn't have the traditional gai lan. There were a couple of pieces of broccoli and a few strips of carrot, but that's it. I was disappointed. I don't know if I visited on an off day, but my first experience with Barn Thai does not leave me feeling like I need to rush back to try anything else.
