After a while, more guests started eating but overall there is a lot of space, so I wouldn't worry about not finding a table. After ordering, we waited for our food for 15 minutes. We ordered 2 Macho Crispy Chicken Sandwiches and Curly Fries. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, but the portion was small. The sandwiches were on the pricey side, compared to sandwiches you can find at chains. We ate the curly fries to complement our sandwiches. The fries were crispy and comparable to those at Jack in the Box. To conclude, I would probably come here again because I like the texture and taste of crispy chicken sandwiches. I came here during the lunch rush on a Wednesday and the restaurant was packed. Ordering is done through 2 kiosks that's by the front door. I ordered 2 crispy chicken sandwiches, 1 spicy chicken sandwich, curly fries, and onion rings. Even with a packed restaurant, our food didn't take too long to be made. Since my son didn't want to dine in, we ended up taking the food home to enjoy. In terms of flavor, the chicken sandwiches were juicy with a slight cumin flavor but the batter was too thick (instead of "crispy", it was slightly on the hard side). One thing I love about their sandwiches is they're well constructed and don't fall apart - the buns have a nice sweetness to them without being overly dense. The fries remind me of McDonald's fries and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed these. +$5 to add on fries and drink, but it's a big size drink and they give you a generous portion of fries. The spicy cumin added a depth of flavor to the already lightly seasoned chicken and my friends fell in love with it. The fries are whatever but the chicken is something I think you guys should try. Macho burger is either from China or heavily influenced by Chinese KFC. Note that I mentioned KFC and yes this place is actually mostly a fried chicken place rather than a burger joint. Chinese actually don't differentiate between burger or sandwich so all chicken sandwich or fish sandwich is called a burger. So don't expect a good burger here because even the only beef cheese burger offering here is lacking and I wouldn't recommend it at all However if you are a fried chicken connoisseur then this is the place for you. It's very similar to the fried chicken flavors that are offered in the KFC in China (btw KFC is more popular than McDonald's in China). The chicken are almost mostly dark meat which is the right way to do fried chicken so if you are a white meat only person then don't come here either. Otherwise the chicken is crispy moist and flavorful. The sauce is very similar to that was offered by ABC Chicken which is another Chinese KFC clone here in the Bay Area. The mayo sauce is served on the chicken sandwich but not super heavy. I also really enjoyed the spicy wings. Once again I didn't like the beef cheese burger but highly recommend the fried chickens offered here. There can be a long line and you may have to wait a bit depending on what you order but they tried to be efficient and I do prefer freshly fried chicken so that's ok. The curly fries are fine, but the regular fries are pretty lacking. I like my fries crispy and salty! My dining companions also got the thing that looks a Crunchwrap Supreme (beef wrap), a burger, and the chicken tenders. The tenders were thin so that they're super crispy, but we all felt that could've used more seasoning. I did love that the food comes out piping hot! One minor negative is that the seating situation for little kids isn't very good. Most of the seating is high tops, and the one area that isn't is in a line against a window.
